You can make it not leak, the key is stuffing that sucker with as much wick as you can. Like, a serious amount.

I know... I was hoping that closing the juice slot some would help but might have a better plan. Going to try a larger ID coil (3,5 mm) and stuff it as much as possible. You can make it not leak, the key is stuffing that sucker with as much wick as you can. Like, a serious amount.
These two are the only RTAs I have... not going to give up. On the other hand, can't wait to get a Presiscio (or however you spell it)Wow. Commitment. Good luck in your endeavors. LOL.
I see that as a plausible possibility given the amount of force it takes to remove some of these chambers. I know mine is tight as a ..... What do you think of the possibility of a hairline crack in the deck itself? A long shot but anything's possible I suppose. I think your idea is more realistic. There is no o-ring there.
If the chamber got "out of round" I could see that would be a source of leaking.
I doyou can't really fill it all they way anyway.
I just came back to this thread for the bubble glass info and started reading again. I was just going to say quality control issue myself. I bought 2 more after my first Blue one which had an AF ring that wouldn't budge for nothing. I would press my thumb over the open AF when refilling to prevent any leaking. It was that or force it with a flathead screwdriver. I bought a black and SS after that because in spite of the AF ring from hell I did like the vape. The black one is perfect in every way. AF ring smooth as butter. The deck chamber doesn't have to be wrestled with to remove. The SS one is not as smooth as the black but still way better than my first blue one. I can't believe I've suffered for so long with that darn first oneThat's the problem with "quality control"... if I had just ordered one, I would have either praised it (the black one) or cursed it as a POS (the silver one) I wonder how many other people go through this with other RTAs.
Other than that small issue, everything else about these were good quality (and super clean)
Having the tolerance issues I had wth my first Silverplay I can't rule out the fact that you may be having similar issues. I had to order 2 more to enjoy the benefits of a working AF ring, a deck chamber that fits properly, etc. If I had known better at the time, I would have notified the company for an exchange. That's it... I give up! When I posted my success, I only filled the tank part way. Filled it up (but still a bit of airspace) Tipped it side to side and juice came pouring out the air hole. Back to square one... chamber to chimney seal or top cap to chimney seal (or both) Oh well, my other one seems fine. Not going to even try playing with this one again.
I picked up my old blue one the other day and the AF ring was unmovable. I couldn't even budge it with a bottle opener wrapped around it. I'll keep it for parts. Or maybe remove one of the o-rings, Idk.Thanks @muth , something is defective because my other one seems fine. And yes, those dang aiflow rings are tight!
@vaper1960 @LoveVanilla I finally received my bubble glass and o-rings and installed everything. By George, it does work! LV, I was having doubts when I was putting it together because the glass and the o-rings looked oversized. It's a bit deceptive because it's not a fit like the original but, as you say, it works. The bottom o-ring isn't an inside fit like the original and the top cap looks a wee bit off (more space on left side) but everything is sealed because no leaks. Maybe you can see the seam at the top cap in my pic.
