Sorry I was confused... I had never hit the cuttoff myself.... but apparently there is a 10 second cuttoff. I will check to see if that is changing in any of the newer ones...

Simple mistake! Not really a big deal... 10 seconds is quite a long time and would probably be perfect for most people.

Still waiting on getting some money together to get the fat batt's... Probably just going to need to get some more carto's (I ordered 12 new flavors this week!) and keep waiting on more information about the newer X2 batteries!

I tried these out on my 78mm manual. They work nice and I have gotten many refills out of them. They are horizontal coil in the bottom and 2.8 ohm. Out of caution I am only using them on manuals until I know how they'll work long term. I have 1 that is about 1 week old and it's still working. I am not recommending them, I am only reporting my experience.

I tried these (the 2.4-2.6ohm version) on my minis (with a $2 510 to 808 adapter) and they work quite well. They look nicer on the minis than the X2 Clearos plus, they're $11 for a box of 5 so even with the extra cost of adapters, they're nice and cheap.
I use the CE3s on my Lavatube for trying out new juices as I have terrible luck with Attys and the CE3s are very easy to clean out. I still prefer SI carts for my minis though. They look great, vape great and since they aren't PT and a cart lasts almost exactly as long as a full charge I don't have a need for any kind of a tank system.

I purchased the same thing from the same vendor - two boxes of five. Out of the ten, one leaked from the start with no sign of user error and another was DOA. Basically a 20% failure rate - but that's for a small sampling. There is a break in period as well. Mine started with low vapor but after a few hours of use they started working up to par. I don't have that kind of patience. SI's clearos work immediately and their performance is outstanding. Maybe someday they will produce a smaller clearo, but until then, I'll stay with what works for me. Just my :2c:

Ah if only I wasn't so OCD about my juices...

I absolutely love my cartomizers, but get so paranoid about whether or not they're too low on juice. I finally got around to just drip filling them after the initial fill by letting it soak in the rubber piece overnight. I used to soak it every single time! Messy and not too fun to do every time.

I know I'm definitely waiting on using SI clearomizers with fat batteries, and hope they have some upgrades for the smaller batteries in time!

Really there's no need to stress so much about your cartos being filled, horizontal coil cartos are really forgiving. Just vape until you get that first dry hit then refill. It's not burning the filler, it's just the taste of a dry atty and will go away once you refill.
I always start a fully filled carto on a 78 battery and they usually run out about the same time. When one or the other quits I know it is time to recharge and refill.
