But it would probably have to be an auto, huh? Wouldn't the clearo obstruct the manual button?

Cindy, I tried the clearo on one of my manuals to see. There is a little clearance above the button. I didn't have any problem pushing the button. I don't know if guys with their bigger hands would have any trouble or not, but I didn't.

It'll be good to get some practice in before I get one of the 1300mah batteries... Those things are MASSIVE. Can't wait!

They're actually not that big. About the size of medium cigar. Nothing like a Provari or Lavatube anyway. :)

And the first (auto) one I got had an orange LED (blue for charging) but the one I got a couple weeks ago only has only a blue LED for both. Hopefully the additional options aren't too far off and include LED options.

Ah! Hell, I've even seen that someone got a Blue LED for the charger and a Red LED for the end of it.

Like I said, I can be somewhat patient (Hate wasting so much battery power with my 78mm batt's for home use) but I really hope they can give me some options soon!

Also, I've heard some things about the cut-off time being a bit longer on the bigger batts... Care to confirm either way?

For comparison, my 78mm batt's have a 7 second, 5 second and 5-ish second cut off!

the first set which have all been sold had no cuttoff... we are implementing a 30 second cutoff on all newer X2's either way you should not hit it :p

The X2's are moving to a blue LED's for everything as well...

options would still be some time maybe a few months :(

Well like someone else in the thread has stated, they got a Blue LED.

Basically anything but Orange! Haha I know it's completely trivial to most people, but is there any way you could crack some open to see the colors of them?

Or hell, even the Orange may work... What exactly does it look like all lit up?

The Ones I have - have a Blue Light while Charging / Goes Off when you are finished Charging . . . And while you are using the X2 as a "passthu" or if You leave the cap off the bottom while you are vaping there is a Red/Orange "Glow" . . . :D

I think I really wouldn't mind it if the cap was on if I really don't like the light.

I think subconsciously I'm trying to make up excuses to not buy it! Haha I have spent quite a bit of money the past couple months on vaping stuff so.

Who knows, maybe next week I'll have a bit more money to play around with! :)

I had no problem pushing the button on the manual - not that I have huge hands, but I do not have small ones either.

They're pretty much the same. The older (auto) one with the orange LED has about ~7 secs. The new blue one has a ~5 sec. cutoff. And the cutoff is more important with these as you'll likely use them without the cap quite a bit which makes them far less resistant to accidental firing than the minis where you'll usually leave the end cap alone. When my AC kicks on I have to make sure the batt isn't pointed into the air flow because it will fire.
I do wish it was 7 sec on all of them though. I hit the 5 second cutoff quite a bit but rarely hit the 7 second cutoff. They don't have a waiting period though so if you want larger hits you can do a 4 second stutter hit to bypass the cutoff so it's not too bad.

I'm probably gonna pick up a couple manuals with my next order though just so I can have the option of a longer cutoff when I want it as, like Imagine said, those have a 30 second cutoff. Plus, shiny button! :D

The blue LED is fairly bright with a nice deep blue glow that's almost violet when it reflects off surfaces. It's not fantastic looking since it's got the charging port on the LED cover. Hopefully SI will get some translucent caps for the X2s at some point which would make them look fantastic.

I only use Manual batteries, but you're saying that the X2 big batteries have a 5-7 second cutoff!?

But didn't Imagine just say there was no cutoff in the post before, right here:

"the first set which have all been sold had no cuttoff... we are implementing a 30 second cutoff on all newer X2's either way you should not hit it "

So which is it! Haha I just got served some papers for owing some money so I definitely won't be able to buy it anytime soon until the legal matters are taken care of. Hope to have the correct info. before I buy anything :)

correct no X2 will have a cutoff shorter then 30 seconds.

the 78mm + 65mm autos have a 7 second cutoff

the 78mm manual has a 5 second cuttoff.

I think we were talking about the regular batts on this thread, not the X2s. I would go by what Imagine said about the 30-second cutoff on the new batch of X2s coming. Hopefully they'll have the 3-click on/off thing too (for the manuals).

I would imagine my X2's were among the first run produced, a prolonged draw on your battery will confirm a cutoff or not, personally I'm glad mine do cutoff. I purchased the 900 X2 the end of March and it cuts off @10 seconds of draw time & the button flashes. The 650 X2 was purchased the first week of April and it will also cut off @10 seconds of draw time. Both button batteries are orange, which isn't a big deal since the button is covered by my finger during use, the Charge LED are a bright Dark Blue.

Is that new? Or just the manuals? The auto X2s (both 1300mah black) I have definitely have a cutoff way below 30 seconds.

And yet again... I am confused as hell!

MFToms also said that the cutoff was around 10 seconds, so... Guess they have a 10 second cutoff and newer models will have a 30 second cutoff?
