I originallyt wrote a negative post on this device, but have tweaked it so it now works much better
( it doesn't display the volts until you actually power the device, and I thought that was an issue)
Part of my negligence was not reading the limited V output at 4.2
So I now run by Billow at 37 and get a nice vape

The form factor, size and weight is what makes this device, and it looks good

Still an issue seeing the screen in daylight, and the whole mech mode and shutoff menu is pretty lame, but it comes out of sleep mode quite fast , and for my tank, I like the slow power up, kind of like the slow option on the sx mini. Find my rda's at 50 are still not strong enough for me, but I'll leave that to my IPV2 mini

Glad to hear you are liking the device more now. I love mine so far.

What builds are you running at 50? I cant go above ~30 without burning on my magma (30 awg 1.8 ohm single coil)

Ripshod, do you like the rubber button better than the stock button?

Yh, I found the hard button to have a little rattle, and made the button click rather loud. The soft button is just so quiet it takes a little getting used to. Horses for courses. I still feel the click though so no need to get OCD on the display to know it's firing.

I finally got mine first thing I did was switch out the plastic switch was a little tricky but it works great.

Now when it comes to the battery compartment I must say most batteries won't fit without some force apart from vtc4/5

don't put more then 2 screws in the door not sure why but when I tried I got a shock and saw a few sparks. I think I know now what that reset is for now.

The ohms reader isn't very accurate it seems to jump around at random no matter what I have on it.

The 510 sort off, spring loaded but not really it's pretty stiff. Hell it's janky most everything fires apart from one tank it was reading incorrectly below .2 ohms

This device kinda worries me now but I think it will grow on me. I do like the size, features

Where can someone get the soft button? I didn't receive the unit yet, so I don't know if I want the button changed, but I do prefer softer buttons.

Also, where can I send it to get an upgrade to 65w? I am sure mine will show up as 50w.

your mod will come with the rubber button :) atleast the owners I've seen have had the rubber button come with it... if your mod shows up at 50 watts, I think you need to send it in to get it upgraded....?

I assume you mean only those purchases from mad vapes? Or can anyone ask them? I just ordered one from Mountain Oak Vapors since it is $44.99 & I was ordering juice anyway. (Their Gotti from the Creme de la Creama line is very good.) I doubt they have it upgraded to 65.

Nope i purchased mine on ebay and they are still going to do my update for free all i paid was shipping. I just checked my tracking and they should receive my box tomorrow I will keep you all updated on the process. BTW does anyone dislike their rubber button? the BT50's do not come with the rubber button but im pretty positive it will work.

Has anyone changed the button on the updated M65? On the inside of mine, the button is held on the inside by a press on, plastic "collar ( I'm calling it this)". It just doesn't look like you would be able to just pop it out from the outside of the mod. One guy says to take the "metal clip" ( his wording ") out with tweezers and the button will fall out on the outside of the mod. No matter how this is done, a clip will be loose inside the mod, be it plastic or metal. I'm wondering if they've changed the inside of the device since updating it. I've emailed Smok but they've yet to answer (second time).

Someone help, please!

I did it, it's really simple as for a clip I don't think mine had that, that you speak of. There was just a little white plastic piece I believe it was there to prevent button rattle. Just push the button out through the button hole comes right out put the new one in, really easy.

I have said nothing but good things about this mod since I had it but for the past week it has been worrying me. Just 10 minutes ago was the icing on the cake. For some reason, this thing hates multi coil builds. It will sometimes read my .4ohm set up anywhere between .3 and 1.2.

Just now, I was vaping my RDA .4 ohm dual coil set up at 30 watts. I had just got done saturating my cotton and went to take a hit. It must have blasted me with all the power this thing had because I thought my cotton caught on fire. I had a blast of heat and raunchy taste hit my throat like a ton of bricks. It nearly made me puke. I literally put down the mod because I thought it was going to blow up or something. After I opened my RDA up, my cotton was all burnt up like it caught on fire or something. Like I said, it was just freshly saturated prior to this hit.

Does anyone know what would have caused this to happen? I have never had it happen before. I know I had to have gotten a ton of Formaldehyde in this incident.

I use a newly purchased samsung 25R with my mod. When the battery indicator goes all the way down, if i try to fire my M50 it says "battery weak" and refuses to fire. Then when i put my mod in usb charging, the first thing it reads is "28% charge...". I was just wondering if this was normal?

Mine does that too and I've seen others report the same. I think the battery meter just isn't calibrated properly.
