The 1.5ohm Vapage Hybrid BF Atomizer I've been using on my Vmod has consumed 15ml of juice in the last 4 days. It's still working like a charm with the same easy draw!

I have a question...I am getting a lot of leaking with my bottom feeder 1.5. Spills right out of the catch cup. It appears to flood out after sitting a bit between draws. I get a dry hit, squonk once...good vape, flood. It drains between vaping. If I don't squonk...it burns. What could the problem be? I've used every atty out there...this is a nice Vape other than the flooding....any suggestions?

Hmmm. I pushed in the post as I read in the earlier comments...that may have been it. Seems to be better. Can get more than 1 or two hits without a problem. Will let you all know, but this may have been the issue. Gosh, it didn't seem like it pressed in hardly at all, if at all. But does seem better!

Update:One of my 2.0's just died,had about 4 hours of vaping on it ranging from 3.4 to 4.5 volts(no dry hits).It stopped while using it at 4 volts,I guess the coil popped.It's watts were as follows:

3.7Vx1.6A=5.95 watts
4.0Vx1.7A=6.8 watts
4.2Vx1.8A=7.56 watts
4.5Vx1.9A=8.5 watts

Let me correct your chart based on my Ohm's Law Calculator:

3.7V x 1.85A = 6.845 watts
4.0V x 2.00A = 8.000 watts
4.2V x 2.10A = 8.819 watts
4.5V x 2.25A = 10.125 watts

I'm sorry you caught a bad one.
This is the first run, & Vapage is standing behind all DOA or short-lived atomizers. Please contact COV for a replacement.

Let me correct your chart based on my Ohm's Law Calculator:

No correction needed these numbers were not a guess but actual measurements taken under load using my digital B&K lab power supply which is dead on accurate.They might be rated at 2 ohms but that changes when they heat up under load.As for a replacement I don't want one,I just wanted to try them out to compare them to what I use daily.These didn't "WOW" me so I will stick with my IKV's for now until I find something that beats them.

This afternoon, I fired up one of the 1.5ohm Standard Models, and so far so good.

I've been using a 1.5 bf hybrid on Vmod too...excellent vapor and flavor...Vmod is a little powerhouse the bf takes it to the next level..
I have had a 2.0 standard hybrid on my mbvv the last 2 days...feeds well.. draw tighter than the bf hybrid
but it produces lots of vapor and works great...no complaints with either hybrid...great attys..great price....

While I appreciate advocacy, strange insistent spamming has ensured that an atty I was watching to get (when a bottom-feeder version came out) won't be on my shopping list. And a vendor I had no issues with, now won't be either. HH and Avid have lost my business because a podcasting spammer can't let things alone.

I saw that AG posted in the HH thread, I was following the thread. I saw the AG/COV post and the response. Difference being he let it go and moved on like an adult. A brief comment, and that's that..... spamming other product threads is just obnoxious. To do it repeatedly even more-so. -Magnus

I am sorry because it almost seems a bit like throwing the baby away with the bath water. Hanna is (from my experience) a genuinely wonderful man who just wanted to create something equally wonderful for people to enjoy. Avidvapor is a location to obtain products. Might I dare to say that perhaps your strong feelings are toward one individual only, and neither being HH or Avid? And might I dare to say that if you say yes to that question, I would likely agree with your strong feelings toward that one individual? Sometimes, so "they" say, if a child throws a tantrum, the best course of action is to hug them...

Or ignore them...

Wow, that was impressive. I was thinking something similar but couldn't quite find such a way to say it without possibly offending my good buddy Magnus.

I'm not familiar with this radio host but judging by his deleted posts for inappropriate comments and knowing Magnus's well know reputation for superb rational and reasoning, some of the comments directed towards the host may have been provoked but I'm trying to figure out how a 3rd party vendor and well respected modder should get caught in the crossfire.

I would never had expected for such a discussion to become so polarizing over competing products. Its like Red sox fans vs Yankees fans. Although COV probably appreciates your allegiance , I'm sure we can find a way to resect both teams even if we have a favorate and the other fans get a little too roady

just my forgive me Dr. Magnus but your words do carry weight around here. when you speak others listen and it would be a shame if you unintentionally caused someone undeserving a bad rep.

Now back to the topic. I just got my hybrids in today ( only regs ). Thanks for a great thread God but why couldn't you have given me a sign or a vision when you started it. I might have caught the BF's in time. Why hast thou forsaken me? lol.

They are probably the best looking atty I have ever procured.It looks like it grew on my P10 with brass cap's.So exited about that. I'm going to let them break a bit in before I weigh in on performance.
