My Universal Hybrid arrived today. I've done the soak and I'm still getting some flimsy vapor. I'm using a Reo Mini.

It is my understanding that Universal Hybrids CAN be fed with a bottom feeder. So, is there a huge difference in performance comparing to the BF Hybrids?

For the record, I <3 the draw on the Universals.

Behind you
I see the new resistance options are listed as 'limited editions'... that makes me kinda worry that they will be not as well made (again) and all over the place.

I have never dealt w/ Vapage directly... they going to stand behind these as the first batch? I don't want to order them and then 1) be left w/ defects and random resistances and 2) never be able to buy them again at those ohms.

Any insight? -Magnus

Don't know Magnus -- Limited edition could be because they haven't done major production on them yet -- ie limited supply.

It seems to me just about like anything I read about---some love them, some don't.

We are a demanding group! What mischief will we dig up once we have atty's that last the life of batteries---and I don't mean the life of one charge!

Discovering the product's demand before committing to a major production run sounds plausible to me too.

The flavor of the Hybrid is great right away.
Give it some time & the vapor will match it.

The Hybrid uses a little thicker wire for the coil (meaning fewer coil wraps), so it doesn't burn as hot as some other attys, which give little flavor but great vapor.

I've adjusted my method to firing (a half second?) before drawing to give the coil time to get hot.

2 weeks in with these attys and I will say that they perform outstanding between voltage load 4.19-3.7, once my AW P18650 2600mAh 3.7v bats voltage load drops below 3.7v, the performance dramatically decreases IMHO and the 1.5Ω/2.0Ω AMG Universal Hybrid's are still going strong and have consumed lots of juice.

The flavor production is simply amazing, the vapor production is as well simply amazing and the th is simply perfect for me on both now. I do still flood them here and there but no biggie for me, on this rate these attys should last at least a month with serious usage. They do get quite warm to the touch when chain vaping but all attys do but these have the tendencies to cool down quickly.

If I blow out the gunk if flooded, clean the threads and contact when flooded and or at the end of the day...then soak'em, the next morning they work just like they did the previous day. Most of the drip tips I have all fit nice and snugly onto the sleeve with very little pressure but whatever you do, do not cover the opening on top of the drip tip while seating it into the sleeve...you will flood your atty no matter how many drops you have in it.

Overall, I give these bad boys a +15 from my experience.
+5 for Vapor Production
+5 for Flavor Production
+5 for TH

I am using Minnesota Menthol at 25mg nic lvl and 70/30 pg/vg...

*ATTN: Do not over torque any atty..

Just for clarification, even if the voltage load drops below 3.7v...the vape sensation is still great but once you dip to around voltage load 3.3v, the performance isn't all there. After using the 1.5Ω for a week, I love the performance but for the juice I vape it just burns it up to quick but using the 2.0Ω for the remaining week is the sweet spot for the juice I vape.

I am not saying the 1.5Ω is bad for tobacco juice but its just not right for mine, YMMV. Also, note that if you drip a lil to much the coil will seize up on you. I have found that 4 drops, 2 on each side of the mesh is what I have found to work great for my pleasure...YMMV.

In the next week I will come back with the results in the Ω rating to let ya'll know if it dipped a notch or so, have a great vape!
