Well heck! I read so many other posts yesterday about the Bloog MF cartos; all were ranting how good they were, so of course I ordered several boxes. Now I'm wondering if they'll be any good? I wanted to use them on my V4L PT. Truthfully the blank Premium carto's I've been getting grom V4L are inconsistent; some great, others the draw is way to hard. Am hoping the Bloogs will be as good as so many said they were.
I vape mostly 60/40VG or 50/50 so I guess we'll see...otherwise, it's just money down the can again.

I will add that neither of my folks have experienced any Burnt taste tho. Ill be curious to see how the WOW juice from V4L works in them. I boiled a bunch the other day in preparation. Also going to try them in that batch of the new blank cartos they got.
SmokingBullet, I hope they work well for you to. I have used a lot of them so far and have yet to have a dud.
How much water do you add, if you find you're having this problem? Also how much does this affect the flavor strength of the juice?
I hope the BMF cartos work on your P/T but I have my doubts as the ohm rating is not high enough for 5V which is what the P/T produces. Some people have had luck with them on regular V4L 808's, but not on a full charge. They work best for me on the Bloog batteries. Most people have said that the liquid mixture needs to be at least 70% PG or you will get a burnt taste. I myself have tried 50/50 in a blank carto and got a burnt taste. One thing I have discovered is that I can vape a PREFILLED carto for a while and then top it off with my 50/50 and it works fine with no bad taste, however I have a mixed flavor then! V4L Premium liquid is mostly, if not all PG and has worked well in the blank cartos for me, however I am not found of their flavors. I have ordered some 70/30 mix from my favorite juice vendor to try this week and I am hoping that it works in the blanks, because these are the BEST 808 cartos I have ever used and I want to make them work!!!
Leaford is working on the carto problems - there's just been so many variations and different results for different folks it's hard to put a handle on the exact problem/s.
I can't argue with that. But the wick and tube definitly aren't burnt. You can hold them in a flame until they glow red hot and they will not burn. They'll get covered in soot, and if they have liquid on them that will burn. But you can wipe that off and it's white underneath.
Right, the filler isn't burn proof, it's ordinary poly fill. If you vape it too dry the coil will overheat and burn the filler just before it dies. I deliberatly tested dozens of them to destruction to see the worst case scenario. The worst I've seen is a small hole, 3-4mm or so.
Exactly, which is why I'm working on a plan to help collect all this data so we can see the whole picture. And from that I can figure out the most plausible hypothesis to test.
for the record i am vaping my first vg juice on the mf cartos... it is 60%pg 40% vg......it is on a prefilled carto.... and its vaping beautifully....it is clear juice

I had a bottle of some mint VG here, so I decided to give it a shot, while I only have about 40 5 second drags on it, the cartomizer is working just fine. This was a blank cartomizer.

tried 50/50 pg vg...on a prefilled no burnt taste...clear juice .....vapes great
I just got the dishrag taste on my last one, filled with 100% pg dekang juice......then stuck it on a reg kr8 and instant burn taste.... buhuu... the feel and the warmth is much nicer, but the taste.... hmm old hard cap styles deliver the taste much better....so I rotate them to get it all... just not at the same time unfortunately...
Wow. Is the juice 'thin'? I have a feeling that some vendors are thinning out their 50/50 juices to get a lower viscosity blend, because I have had zero good results with 50/50.
Mind telling us where you got it and what it is?

on 3 cartos, after 2-3 refills I am getting a horrible, horrible burning taste.
What can we do in a situation like this? If I feel like I got a bad batch.

Edit : Juice is Strawberry Colada, very light pink, but very thin too.
Previous batch of cartos I had I was able to refill a dozen times.

well as i stated this was a refill on a prefilled carto so that might have something to do with it...it was also a clear juice... it was freedom smokes juice...
we are really trying to figure out why some are having issues and others are not... first let me say that since it is not happening on the first fill thats a good thing... can you please describe in detail
1) how do you fill your cartos...what is your method?
2) what batteries are you using?
3) is your juice clear or does it have color?
4) how do you vape? chain vapor? sparatic? do you take long slow pulls? fast strong pulls?
This info will help us get to the bottom of all this....anything else you can add would be great!

I use FSUSU too. I only have the older cartos, so I'm not sure if this will help, but.... I have never had a problem with using 50/50 juices on a prefilled carto. Though I have had some trouble with blank cartos. But only a little trouble. I've only had to throw out 3 of the cartos I've used in the last month. The rest of them I'm still reusing.
