Just got back from the Vape meet. There were quite a number of people there and more people that are using mechs and rbas. Still ego dominated though. I did find a couple of young guys to sit down with and play with my R91. One tried to tighten that center pin and positive post block. It is tight enough that we were able to get a coil to work on it, but it is still loose enough to be moved when attaching a coil. He liked tobaccos and had a Kayfun Lite so I gave him a bottle of NLV Renegade he tried and really liked for helping me. So more fiddling needed. I was the only person who had a V2 R91 and the rba guys had fun checking it out. A few decades ago they would have been checking me out. Oh well...........

The agreement was that I should try to find a new v1 center pin. Yup, knew that. One of the guys does a vapetv show on Monday nights so he asked me to tune in and ask on the show and they will all get together and brainstorm. He wants to follow up with me on it to make sure I get it fixed as it should be. Says he will hunt for a solution for me.

So I have my Caramel Pear Black Tea in the R91 on my Provari Mini. Coil is reading 1.4ohms and I am vaping at 3.7 volts (9.8watts-I used an ohms calculator).

I had fun. Met a few more people. Sat down with a couple that the guy just bought a mech mod and is using cheapo 18350 batteries with an Iclear 30. So I gave a simple version of the battery talk, I can not get real techie about that subject so I felt safe just outlining a few basics since he was talking wanting to get an RBA. His wife had a little ego and clearo setup she just won so I gave her a couple bottles of juice. They were brand new vapers so I was glad to chat with them and that I did have some juice on me to give them.

Hahaha I am totally going to use that line! Seriuosly, not kidding one bit!
That is one of the things I like, I smoke hand packed tobacco so no buying from the convent stores, it helps but also can buy 200for $25. That makes it harder for me!

I never tossed anything out, never hid anything, just didn't replace what I had once it ran out. 37 years of smoking and countless times of making a big deal out of cessation and what finally worked was basically a yodaism ; "do or do not, there is no try" . Smoke or don't smoke. Buy a pack or don't buy a pack. Bum a smoke or don't. Etc. Decide, move forward. Don't question the decision.
That's what works for me anyway.

Good afternoon everyone! Had a little stumble over the weekend, craving monster attacked me. I stayed strong and did NOT buy a pack, but it was a really close call. . .

I might have to resort to medication. I can't stand this feeling anymore. WTA makes it better, but why won't it just GO AWAY?????

If I'm going to be so stressed and worried all the time, and anxious and upset, I should just go back to smoking. Then I can stop being angry at my body's stupid response to this age-old biological urge.

Snus. It's worth a shot. It's not at all like I had imagined. Much better.
But then I'm also convinced that there's more in cigarettes than nicotine that's got it's addictive hooks into me.
I still believe the battle can be won.

i mostly only use snus now when im flying. i use bottom coils and they dont play nice with pressure changes from take off/landing. i have to have someting to drink when i use snus though. makes the back of my throat itch and feel like i need to clear it all the time.

Child is currently watching a youtube playlist i made this morning for him. every episode i could find of Kim Possible, Lilo and Stitch, Stitch! (japanese anime version of lilo and stitch cartoon series).

im trying to decide if i want to clean out my bottles or try making some new protank coils while i have the free time or not. ill probably just cook some food and watch tv with child.
