They're at it again!

I wanted to post that there's a whole host of us here, who either smoke and vape and love it, or struggle with the switch. However, I am too hostile right now.

I must learn to stay home and not venture out alone!!

**EDIT: I posted a reply which I hope won't cause too many people to be ...... off. Some things are worth saying, after all.

I liked your reply. I'm glad you spoke up.
Of course I had to add my :2c: too.

Well im starting to worry about the fate of ecigs in Illinois. A bill effectively banning eliquid (and prefilled cartos) until department of health can determine safe packaging requirements passes house reading. Original writer of bill said it was made to make it child proof. Its written too broad. Bill says effective immediately if passed so stires with aby inventory wouldn't be able to sell any until its in "safe" packaging. Im about to stock up on nic and say sceww it. They can't limit my access to wire or flavors.

Not good. I think many people are stocking up. I've got ... a few years? (haven't figured it out) in my freezer and I want more. I just figure that the more that's out there, in the wild, the harder it is for them to control it. There's ways around a state ban. A bit under the radar but so are the bills.

However, that's not ideal and keeps smokers from quitting. That one sounds extreme. I hope IL vapers beat it.

I think everyone's going to have to fight their own state ban eventually.

If you really think about it darksparkle, some of the struggling is due to how hard we are on ourselves. I know in my case, I beat myself up over the littlest of things sometimes. Then, when I look back on it a few days or weeks later I can laugh at myself.

When I find myself getting frustrated or ready to pull my hair out now, I try to sit back and step outside the box that is me. Count to 10 and look at it as if it was happening to a stranger or it happened a week ago. Sometimes I am able to see it in a different light and even though it does not fix anything, I can be calmer and find a remedy or at least deal better with the situation. Hope this makes sense.

Sorry, been a long night tonight driving through a near tornado or two.

Shari, like I tell the new guys out here, sometimes you just have to slow down and remind yourself to do things the right way. It seems to work out OK, at least the slow down part.

My flavors from TetraVape for review came in today so this weekend (along with putting a new door on the SUV) I have to make a new coil setup and get to reviewing them. Thankfully they are low nic since I think I am almost due to drop to 12mg.

I just noticed it passed. Only 10 "no's".. If your going to order, better get on it. Really misleading and sneaky bill for "child safe" packaging. All nic sales and shipments are ended, immediatly and it's probably long term (cigalikes are exempted). It's waiting to be signed.

That's ugly. No one expected it to pass. I don't think legislators knew/cared what they were voting for/against. I hope the bribe was worth it (not really). It might be more stupidity than greed.

Ever want to make your own net? Time to develop the black market.

Let's Be Honest - If What "You" Said ...... THEM OFF - TOUGH . . .

Oh - As for staying "Home" - PLEASE DON'T . . . Just Sayin' . . .;) :D

I think that some of the most intolerant people in the world are the ones that give up something and then become rabid anti whatever it is they gave up. I wonder if they do that because they are still trying to convince themselves that they did the right thing. Or they are trying to reinforce their decision. When someone comes on that strong, they are probably struggling with their own desire to smoke and taking it out on you.

If I had taken all the advice I have given out over the years, I would be a well educated, healthy, wealthy, happy professional 'something' right now. I am who I am. It is always easier to give someone advice. It is much more difficult to follow it. Sometimes life just happens and you have to role with the flow.

Decisions made in retrospect are always perfect. There are never any consequences applied.

That is very good advice! I thin mostly my passion gets in the way, I am very passionate and whether it's good or bad, the passion comes out! I do play a rather good devils advocate. So I try seeing the other side, but it's hardest to take your own advice!

Just peeking in for a quick moment to say hello to everyone!

My surgery was 3 weeks ago today, and I now loath crutches more than I ever thought was possible! It's been a rough 3 weeks, and I'm now becoming concerned about my recovery since I was supposed to start physical therapy 2 weeks ago and I still do not have insurance approval. Grrrrrrr. I've hardly been vaping, been smoking like crazy:facepalm: (I've pretty much been in an "I don't give a "__ " mood). Now I need to start reading backwards and trying to catch up ... I've missed everyone!

I have a call into representative Phelps, by way of family, and hoping we can get something going about this but I may need some signatures and names.

Hi and good to see you here. Hope you are on the mend. I truly do not get how these drs and ins co are working these days. It is not like they did not know you were having the surgery; they knew what surgery it was and what was going to be required for rehab; and they knew the timeline. So why is your rehab not approved yet? I hope they get their papers in the right pile soon so you can be jumping on a trampoline for joy soon.

Just peeking in for a quick moment to say hello to everyone!
