I've been lurking when I can trying to keep up, but it's been difficult lately.

Grats JJ on the 1 year anniversary.

My uncle passed away a couple weeks ago, the funeral was last weekend. His wife will be moving closer to her kids, which is for the best. Things are getting a bit more normal... end of life stuff is difficult to deal with on a lot of different levels.

I stopped using the zmax to pull the IGO apart, and instead use either a 510 to 510 adapter or an old dead ego bat. I don't want to accidentally damage my mod. Of course the Zmax has survived being dropped onto a concrete floor more than once. I'm also not proud to admit that in a moment of rage I once smacked it off my desk. If flew across the room, and hit the wall breaking the protank attached to it into 3 pieces. No damage to the Zmax... not bad for a $40 mod. Bad me though.

My insurance finally kicked in, (good thing ran out of meds over a month ago.) I see a doctor next week, I'm hoping he's decent but at this point I'm expecting the worst. Nothing has gone smoothly. In fact just today I picked up new glasses, and wouldn't you know somebody screwed up somewhere because I see better with my old ones. I have to wait until Monday to sort it all out. Meanwhile, I'm also waiting on a pair of prescription sunglasses too which I'm guessing will be just as messed up.

I hope you get the PT started soon Erised. :)

Have a good weekend everyone!

Don't be hard on yourself. You've had a lot of big stresses, each one would be huge alone and you've got them all bunched up together. Taking a month holiday from your meds might be having an effect too. I don't know what you need to do to take caw of yourself right now. Loosing a relative / someone close can mean so many different things in so may ways it's hard for me to know what to say. Your welcome to come in here anytime to just be.

I did have to laugh at your story about the zmax. I had no idea they were THAT tough. I've dropped mine before and the tank broke at the 510 connection. Nova 0 / Zmax 1. Your story made me think of those old Timex commercials. I hope if Sigelei makes a commerical that they'll pick you.

It sounds like your gettng settled there. How do you like it so far? It's been a long time since I've been and I've got a friend who's itchng to movd there (Low real state prices?). Geesh I'm getting so tired now that I'm rambling. Good night late nght owls.

Erised !!!!!!!!!!!! So glad that you are alright and had the surgery! I know your daughter is/was there with you! That is good !

Just start calling the doctors office, therapy people and the insurance company, someone will either out the person holding you up or the wheel will start to turn so they don't have to deal with you.

GTR, I hope things start moving in a brighter direction, I am sorry for your loss, It is always a difficult time when you lose a family member. Just knowing he no longer it suffering is helpful I am sure. I hope you get your eyeglasses fixed and you come back and fill us with your good humor and interesting thoughts.

nothing new here, won some juice, got out of the house today and trying to get out daily so I am used to it by the time I start to see doctors
see you all tomorrow!

Losing loved ones is never easy. It's hard to know how to react or how someone will react to your reaction (clear as mud yes) on the topic of death so don't sweat it. It's a part of life, and in this case (like many others) it's one of the best things that can happen to someone suffering with "N" stage lung cancer. I just did what I could to make him as comfortable as possible and support my aunt and cousins. I went through the same thing when my father died from cancer when I twelve.

The Nevada Health link website has such problems; I'm one of the lucky ones. I signed up in December, insurance didn't go into effect until March 1. Many people still can't sign up at all due to website problems, others have signed up and have been making payments but have NO insurance thanks to the website and its myriad issues. It was designed by Xerox and there are a few class action lawsuits in the works against Nevada and Xerox. It's likely the state will go after Xerox... as they should IMHO. At any rate, I had to wait 5 weeks to get a doctors appointment and since I'm new here I have absolutely no idea who is good and who is bad so I will just have to wait and see. But again... I'm one of the lucky ones. :)

A couple local municipalities are facing bankruptcy *cough* North Las Vegas *cough* but Vegas in general is starting to recover. Downtown Las Vegas is much more upscale now, and the "High Roller" just opened on the Strip. (It's now the tallest observation wheel in the world.)

There are more jobs now and the housing market is very active; foreclosures are down and sales are up. Housing prices are steadily rising as well, but still far less than before the housing bubble burst. The market is very competitive fueled mainly by investors who want to either rent or do a quick flip for easy profit. Most homes sell the same day they are listed, above the asking price with "cash only" stipulations.

Medical ........ dispensaries and cultivation centers are set to open in the next few months so a lot of commercial real estate that has been vacant for 10+ years are being snapped up to get in on the green rush. (It's been legal since 2001. State and local governments have been dragging their feet in a good way; nailing everything down and learning from what CA, CO, and the other states have done.) [Not sure if this is against forum rules, if so, my apologies and please remove.]

Shari, after hearing you rave about Ahlusion, I decided to place an order since there was a discount today. I'll let you know what I think after I try them. I ordered mainly tea flavors. As for filing the Igo's, I originally used a precision screw driver because I didn't have a file that small. It worked but destroyed the screwdriver in the process. I just got some actual files from FT they look like they will work, I will try them soon and let you know.

Morning folks, been a while since I was on here but over 60 hrs this week in a truck kinda wiped me out.

Still smoking a bit but less than the day before so its a win.

I got a new Kanger Aero tank on Friday and so far its been great, it even works well on my SVD which is awesome!

Today I have to review the juices from TetraVape and I found a video for a "wick-less coil" that I plan to try for it, so wish me luck.

GTR- sorry for your loss, but glad to hear you're dealing with it and moving forward.

I see nothing wrong with my egos and clearos I like them and have put them to great use! I find they have more of a cigarette feel to them! I am experimenting but I got my BFF vaping because of the ego set up, she hated the humongous mods! So I think what ever level you are comfy with is awesome!
I just have not found my diamond is all for me still smoking! A vapers go onto me the other day, and I was hey I feel good about where I am!

Tell the vapers you'll continue to work on the smoking cessation but you'd appreciate them working on their "not being an a$$hole" skills.
When the desire to do something other than smoke, whatever brings it about, outweighs the desire to smoke you'll put them down.
The only reason I don't smoke every now and then is my refusal to buy a pack and I don't know anywhere that legally sells them in singles. I won't bum one either because nobody I know smokes my old brand. ;)
