Lori, you are truly a sweetheart. When I found out that my 510 attys were not going to be available anymore I bought a stash of them to last me for over a year if that is all I ever use. So, since I have decided to 'grow' and get an RBA and build coils, that 1 year stash is probably now good for 2 or more years. They will always be a part of my vaping kit because I know when nothing else works these little attys will get the job done.

With my short and limited experience with evods and heads and now the Russian and Igo-L and building coils, I know that sometimes stuff fails or does not work right. Not every coil I build vapes good and the cotton balls have a mind of their own sometimes. My 510 attys are steady and consistently a good vape. No fuss.

I am proud of me too. I talked to my sister tonight. She had said a couple of months ago that she wanted to try vaping and I was going to set her up with a spinner and evod and 510 attys and juice. She never came over and I did not call. Tonight she is all excuses and all I did was say I was 9 months no cigarettes and I had a setup put aside for her if she wants to give it a try. She went off on me like I was backing a wounded animal into a corner. Whoa. I do not care if you want to vape or not. You come to me when you are ready. Thought she wanted to come play and try a few flavors, just see what the stuff looks like.

I do not believe in pushing vaping on people. Smokers or not. I will do 'show and tell' and try it out. But I am not an evangelist for vaping. Not my job or responsibility.

Shari, sorry to hear that about your sister. Good for you for trying though!

I guess I will join all you lovely people. I have been vaping on and off for about a year now, but I'm still smoking also (though now I really need to quit as I'm expecting in Aug/Sep). My man lost his egos and because he has completely quit smoking I let him have my MVP and he let me buy a new MVP (energy edition, New wave) and it should be here on Saturday. Of course with him losing his kit we also lost 4 tanks so next payday I get to order a couple new ones also!

Thanks Lox. I read that 'fix' and do not know what non resistance wire is and the talk about causing a short scares me. I am not real good with accuracy working on little things. I really want to use the R91 on my provari and shorting something out is not sounding good while said in the same sentence.

I will wait and see what happens with Kebo and the magical v1 center pins being supplied to vendors, or the FatDaddy Vapes new v1 center pins. Let's see who comes up with the solution first.

In the meantime I have a very expensive paperweight. I have been able to get it to work, on and off. More off. So back to paperweight status. Watching for a R91 v1 to pop up in the classys.

I saw that. The seller did list the fact that it had a floating center pin so I knew to pass on it. There is another R91 on the classys that the seller did not specify which version. I am taking him to task to specifically state what the center pin on the bottom of the device looks like, one that you can adjust with a flat screwdriver, or is it one that you can push it and it moves up and down. So if he will not say I will not buy.

I think it is fine for people to sell these faulty R91s. But it must be disclosed that it is the v2 so the buyer can decide if they want to take the chance with the spring loaded center pin issue.

Maybe I am stepping over a line, but I am angry and upset that I have an expensive defective device that is brand new. They should not be being passed off to unsuspecting buyers. That is not right.

Ok. Stepping down from soapbox. Rant over.

BTW since Shari was talking about building and reliability. Reliability is number 1 for me. I don't DIY I have rebuilt but it needs to be easier than grabbing a cigarette. I still once in a while grab a 650 mah and a carto. It is easy and reliable, that is for the really lazy times or immediate need.

Doc said lungs are clear and declared a sinus infection. One antibiotic and one box of mucinex should have me back at work Monday. Yay. . .

Not sure if ill be able to afford college grr. Trying to see what financial aid they offer. And im dreading the essay I have to write.
