There has been so much sadness and worry lately and I've been in a deep pit of depression. I am trying very hard to get back to my artwork and am in a summer long class.
Slowly I am climbing out of the pit and the painting I did today makes me smile, I thought some of you might like to smile as well.

That is so cute and so pretty at the same time. I am seeing a baby giraffe. Am I right? What a face! It reminds me of the little deer eating popcorn pic. But cuter.

sorry I haven't been around, going through some tough times, Roommate is very ill and I am having trouble dealing with him, trying to get him to Dr's and hospitals. He is a bog baby and now we were at the hospital for the second time in less than a week and he thought he had an intestinal blockage, which can kill so I made him go. BUt , instead its his Prostate, its hugely enlarged and he has a lot of blood in his urine. I have to see about an appointment with a Urologist. We got home at 8 am and I finally fell asleep at 10 am and he woke me crying at 11:30 AM I fell getting up out of bed. Hurt my hip and my arms, I am all black and blue, I don't think I broke anything, but I am dying here,.
Did I mention I broke a mirror twoo weeks ago?
trying to maintain everything, the other news Nephew got his girlfriend pregnant with twins, OMG he isn't prepared at all and she even less.
I am trying to convince them to move back to Maine and get his mothers family to help, I can't do it.

Wow Karen. You certainly do have a plateful recently. You should probably get yourself checked too. That fall does not sound good. Roommate sounds like his health is really going downhill. Does he have family who can get involved to give you a break? Or maybe make him get to the doctors? Why don't these women and girls use birth control? Don't get it.
Please try to take care of yourself and get some rest. I know it is hard when everything around you seems to be spinning out of control. Didn't you mention that there is some type of car service that will take roommate to ER and doctors? Or is it that he will not go willingly?

Sorry to hear about all the hassles. I'm glad your roommate had you to push him to go to the hospital, but it sounds as if he should have stayed there. I know if you tell them he's got no assistance at home, they will keep someone much quicker. You can come right out and tell them he needs more care than you can give. It might be a relief for him too if they can manage his pain better.
It sounds as if your right about your nephew too. Twins first time around is overwhelming. As the date gets closer and reality sets in, they'll probably realize they are going to need a lot of help.
I hope your able to take care of yourself. That fall sounds pretty nasty. That's some pretty high stress stuff you've been through. I hope you get a break soon.

I love that giraffe. The background works well with it too. There's no way I can look at that without smiling.

Babysitting for girlfriends coworker. She had to take a trip to er, bleeding where she shouldn't be for too long. Didnt want to go because would mean baby with family who hadn't taken care of babies in many years.
I got my child to sleep by playing music. My headset in plugged into his so we both can listen. And im patting baby in my sleep lol. Guess ive done that before. .. Girlfriend woke me up to show me the picture.

Sorry to hear you are going through such a rough patch Karen, I wish I had some advice that was truly helpful.
