I was off on the quest to find my perfect vape, both equipment and juice, and to see just how much I could spend apparently. LOL
I have several high end authentic mods and attys and still wasn't completely staisfied until I got a Reo, which turned into 2 Reos. Amazingly that seems to have solved it for now as I haven't even been looking at anything to buy for a couple of months now. I did get on the list for a Dibi but that won't happen for another year as Peter has that many orders.

I've even pretty much settled down to a few juices that I keep re ordering and feel at a nice level spot where everything works and vaping is just a normal part of my day now. I rebuild coils, dry burn and rewick with Peaches and Cream yarn without even thinking much about it.
For now at least my quest for the shiny seems to have passed. :)

I am getting back into my art classes and Cliff is trying to get back to racing, right now I am not going with him because it is just too hot for me. Once the weather cools down a bit I'll go too, but I just can't see the point in being miserable to the point of feeling ill because of the heat and humidity.

He still smokes and isn't interested in vaping and I try not to think about it as he hacks up a lung every morning. He smokes outside or in the garage and I vape outside or in the garage to keep peace, we do not discuss either and it works for now.

Other than that I'm not doing much, I follow a couple of forums and post occasionally as I still don't really have a life, I spend far too much time on the computer and I'm trying, without success, to remedy that. I check in here almost every day but most of the time just don't have much to say. :)

If you love your reos - what's the draw of the dibi? Sorry, don't know much about the wooden box mods.

Hi, all my friends! I made it to ONE YEAR today!!!!!!! I am so proud of myself and I feel great as far as breathing and not wanting to smoke go. I bought myself 4 new 18490 batteries for my 2 Provari Minis and I am going to buy a Black Edition Kayfun and some more Ahlusion juice to celebrate.

I have read a few glowing reviews and posts about the Magma dripper and I am considering getting one of those. The 510 attys have been losing their charm with me these past couple of months. I am obsessed with my Russian 91s and so that limits me to only running 2 tanks of different flavors at a time.

It is wonderful to have such trivial vaping problems finally. I have no thoughts at all about having a cigarette anymore. But I am vaping as much or more than I was smoking, especially with the remodel going on.

The refrigerator got fixed; the hardwood in the kitchen is finally just perfect and beautiful. Cabinets are to be installed Thursday and the granite at the end of the month. Then appliances. Then the living room gets started. Still a month to go.

Hopefully once September gets here I can plan the trip to meet my new grandson. He is not so new anymore. lol

Woohoo, Shari! Congratulations on 1 year smoke-free!!!! Who woulda thunk when we first started out that we'd ever make it this far?!?!

I found out that Ahlusion is having a 20% off sale today on their custom made juices, not on Xpress or aeromatic tobaccos. Discount is added at checkout so if any of you have been thinking of trying them, now is the time.

I ordered 60ml bottles of my Caramel Pear Black Tea, Smooth Criminal, Chocolate Cream and a sample of their Tarte Tatin Pear to try. Now to go over to Custom Mod Creations and get that Black Edition Kayfun.

Still debating the Magma RDA. Will think more................

I know Thaya, it is crazy that we made it to a year with no cigarettes. I never in a million years thought I would be able to get here. I never would have made it without all the wonderful people and support I found in this thread. So, for all the newbies and lurkers out there, it is possible, with the support to be had here.

Congrats! I picked up a protank airflow base at local ecig store and its giving me less vapor tgan the regular base. Thinking of trying to drill out the airholes a bit more. Should help. Ive been using a single flavor, starting to not taste it anymore. And bought one of those coil gizmos, going to play with it tonight

I'm here. I keep an eye on the posts through the sub tab, but I haven't had much to say.

I've been in several coops and just staying up with restocking is enough to drive me mad. I did snag a mega and whoa! That's a game changer. FT has one for $13 which I also got and except for the logo, it's 1:1 IMO. Definatley makes the FT hassle worthwhile. What I'm not to keen on is the amount of eliquid I'm going through with dual coils. I'm hoping someone comes up with an answer to that soon. I know they are experimenting with single ceramic wick coils in duals. Protanks seem to be a science in themselves. But I love, love, love the mega.

There's also been a couple of other forums active for ecigs within the last month or so. I see a lot of familar names from ECF.

One of the major downfalls of the ego/clearo route is the constant need for stocking up. I love being able to carry them around easily - but that constant buying part's for the birds. Now my juice intake has doubled. And I still want to test flavors, not the cheap ones either. I am frustrated. Is Mother's Milk really that good? My taste buds are all over the place.

I've heard the Reo was amazing - the least fiddly of them all. They don't come up on classifieds much either.

I think people do wander off into other interests, which doesn't mean they stop checking here. I bet if I mention DALE, she'd say hi (we'll see). We just need new folks too inorder to keep the mix fresh and alive. I know there's newbies still smoking. I'm still smoking. I even gave up vaping for awhile, It was just too much to deal with, too much fiddling and failures. It really needs to be easy for me. I really don't have it for another hobby.

I think my next fav forum (not including coops and classies) is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...show-us-your-girly-pretty-decorated-pink.html I spend WAY too much time there.

Congratulations Shari. I'd send dancing bananas but I still have no idea how to do that.

The draw of the Dibi is the beauty and functionality all in one package. You can pick your own wood for a beautiful piece of art that vapes like a dream, the dibi is not square like the woodville is and it fits the hand a bit better too. Even when I didn't like box mods I thought the Dibi was beautiful, it's all about the wood.

The only problem with the Reos is you need several if you, like me, are someone who changes flavors often.

If you love your reos - what's the draw of the dibi? Sorry, don't know much about the wooden box mods.

For those of you who remember Cliff's drag car, he spent the winter and a ton of money building a new motor for it, well he blew it up yesterday. There is a huge hole in the block so this is probably going to mean another new motor and another ton of money, that he no longer has. Anyone wanna buy a 1949 Studebaker that runs, or a skid steer loader that works? Racing is done for this year, before it ever even began. :(

Just An FYI:

Uncle - Grab yourself a cold Yuengling and a cheesesteak :)

Thankfully - I do not drink beer, however as for the cheesecake . . . If Only I Could and Not Feel WORSE or Guilty . . .

Uncle, landlords can put all kinds of stuff in their lease agreements. If you do not sign it, it could cause you problems and may break your lease. On the other hand, how they gonna know you are vaping if you do not tell them? Is it worth fighting it to you? Even if they knocked on your door for an inspection, you could take your time getting to the door and the vapor would leave no evidence by the time you got to the door (burn insense or spray some Glade air freshener) so I would not worry too much about it. Aggravating and infuriating but not worth losing your home over.

Already do that, since I do "smudging" and even have a couple of "Lava Rock" odor absorber & 2 air purifiers running 24/7 . . . ;)

As for the fight, if it was only that easy to walk away or even move . . . BUT - YES - The fight would be worth it in more ways then one and not just for "Me" (See Post linked below) . . . ;)

Okay as I said I would - for those that are interested, I have made some additional comments in another thread that would answer some of your questions and provide Ya' with some interesting facts about the situation I will be going through and even "Me" (3rd Post - when I lived in Philadelphia) too here:

I hope that those post will explain the situation about what has been happening just a little more . . . Oh and BTW: They know I use an ecig/vape in "My" apartment, ever since they accused "Me" of smoking inside - They even asked "Me" at one time to talk to other tenants when I moved in and started using them . . . So I do not know what happen yet, until I speak with an Attorney (that is when I get back to Florida next week) . . .

Also - I Really Hate to say this, but I am back up to 3/4 PAD all since last Tuesday . . .

AND - May have to sell off some of "My" vape equipment that I haven't been using too, if it comes to that . . .

A report and update:

For us the WTA is the perfect thing. Adding WTA to our e-juice made all the difference. I haven't had a stinky since shortly after the time I joined this thread (whenever that was), and the Mrs. only had one because I forgot to put WTA in her tank for 2 days in a row! (My bad).

So, if you are struggling with stinkies, try WTA. For me it was 5 drops in a tank, and for her it's 10 drops in a tank. So, you see, that very expensive WTA doesn't get vaped by itself! This stuff lasts a lot longer than one might think.

Now our thing is to load up the dripper (an IGO-W) with a nice flavored ejuice and put extra WTA in that. We hit that first thing in the mornings, and the fog lifts away to replaced by the gossamer wings of heavenly hamsters. Whatever the heck that means.

So since we started doing this morning WTA hit, I now use 3 drops in a tank (weaning dose) and she uses 5 drops. These are ProTank 2's, so a tank lasts all day and part of the next.

Go get ye some WTA and see what happens with you.

Thanks!

Morning folks, still in love with my Hana/Kayfun combo here. Nothing exciting, just about 10 days from my last cigarette and having a great time with Tigers Blood and Hawk Sauce.

Got a new kfl on the way and a new 26650 mech, the Helmsman (clone).

This mornings exercise is some 26ga wire in a Catz clone to see if I can match the airflow with a good vapor production. Here goes nothing!

*Edit* Just remembered that I forgot to mention I ordered a 250ft spool of wire and some replacement insulators at kidneypuncher.com.

And for those looking to work with 26 ga wire, heads up its a whole plot more stiff than it looks!

OK, so the Catz clone is a workable dripper but to match the airflow I will have to be around .6 ohms or just above, meaning 28ga is going to be the minimum gauge that I can use due to the size of the deck and depth of the drip well.

The build I went with was a net .46 ohms...

The vapor production was very high but sadly, so was the temp of the vape. Not something I would recommend unless you want a *very* warm vape coming out of a fog machine.

Overall, its still a good clone but the depth of the drip well makes it very difficult to build and can be very tricky to match air/vapor production and not be very hot.

*Edit* Still working on figuring out how to link pics from another site instead of hosting directly on ECF...

Oh no, Claudia! I am so sorry to hear that Cliff blew up another motor. I hear that that is not an uncommon occurrence in car racing, but for it to happen so early in the season is really a shame. Now what are you going to do with him all summer?

All I can say to you Uncle is, Wow. Just wow. I can see the predicament you are in. And I also see what is happening with the other residents there. I remember back in the late 1990s when my mother was living in a subsidized housing apartment in CT. She was on Soc Sec and disabled and absolutely terrified All The Time that she would be thrown out of the tiny place. I visited her several times a week and even spoke with some of the other people who lived there but never fully understood her fear. Your posts have brought that to the front for me. Now that I am older and not working, I would have the same fear.

It is a big shame. I feel you may have a difficult time ahead of you if you are trying to get any of them to organize with you. Fear is a very real and powerful emotion, especially when it looks like the management has the means to carry through on their threats. This is becoming more common as the baby boomers age. There is no place for the old and disabled. Too many families can not afford to take on Mom or Dad in this economy. Such a shame. Hope that is not me in a handful of years.

Wonder if a lawyer would help you. You would have to find the right one willing to take up your cause and do Pro Bono. Good luck. I hate to hear things like this. I want to get up and fight but am afraid of the outcome for real people in a vulnerable position.

YIKES! Was he driving? That's scary and devastating. Wonder if there's an engine builder who might be enticed to partner up? We lost a mustang to a fire once and ended up holding a wake. Sounds strange, but not to the guys involved. Getting a partner really helped manage the costs. Gotta be the right one though, but that's how we were able to get back out to the track (and still make the mortgage pymt).

So sorry to hear about all the stress your having. My fingers are crossed it's temporary. Don't add to your stress by considering selling vape gear too. I have a hunch you had something to do with others in the apt vaping.

I keep wondering, what will other tenents do? Nicotine is a habit, so it's not like not putting up windchimes. Most people can't just turn on or off a nicotine habit - and most already know the other replacements don't work. It seems managment is aware of the issue. It would be so much nicer to work with them ...

I don't have any answers, but you have my empathy. Landlords here pretty much control the show and judges always side with them. That's in reg. housing. A bad word from a landlord is worse than having bad credit, so there's never an argument. I tried to help a friend out once and we looked through the phone book for a tennent attorney = none. Huge section for landlords. I HATE renting.

Of course, none of that excuses the stupid _______ (fill in the blank with your own choice words) who run around talking bad about ecigs without knowing anything about them - without knowing anything about nicotine addiction too. Those are the ugliest people.

However, if I were a tennant there I'd sure be feeling like I was put in a corner with my back against the wall. They almost have no choice.
(cameras?)
