Hi, Johnnie!

Welcome to the (whatever you call this, the list? the group? the asylum?)

Alhusion is actually a vendor, not a liquid; I think that's what got you and Dolores a bit cross-wired.

Welcome to Ahlusion

(And I don't believe they sell WTA juices, although they do have tobacco flavors).

-Mark
(Not that mountainbiker-guy. the other one.)

It doesn't take much to get me cross-wired, Mark. Oftentimes, by the time I find the right words and place my post, the question has already been answered by someone with more experience than me, I answer the question wrong (as in Johnnie's case), or the subject has already changed--twice. So usually, when I'm here, I read and "like."

According to the letter, I will get medicare A and B because my disability officially began Jan. 2014. Funny, I could swear I have been ill since 1996, or stopped work in Oct 2010 or thereabouts.

The kitchen consultant is the neighboring dept let me vape in her dept too. Maybe because I asked permission and was not an ahole about it. Plus I am an old lady who potentially is going to spend a good chunk of money at Lowes. Don't know but was happy about it. This also is a small middle of nowhere town so that may have had something to do with it too.

I'm shocked ... not that you met another vaper (which is cool) but that he let you vape in Lowes. From what I have heard they are as anti-vaping as they are anti-smoking.

From what I understand most of Ahlusion's tobaccos are nets. They do their own extractions on approximately 80% of their flavors, you would have to read on their site for exact numbers. I am very happy with the juices I have from them. I have approximately 20+ of their flavors and like a lot of them. There are a few I do not care for, but it is a particular flavor, not the quality of the juice. I have three of their tobaccos that have secondary flavors in them, caramel wild wood, maple river tree blend and smooth criminal. I love smooth criminal and really like the other two. They also have an airomatic (sp) line of more full bodied Net tobaccos that I have not tried because I am not into powerful tobaccos, I like the lighter stuff.

I love their teas and their fruit creams. They do have some unusual selections in flavors. Worth a look. The quality is there. Love NiteLifeVapor for their Gold (tobacco). I also like Nicoticket for their quality and of course Alien Visions and Heathers Heavenly Vapes and Aiv. Fuzion is a good one too. There are also several newer boutique vendors that are popping up that may be worth a look.

What is particular about your taste? What do you like to vape? Are you an all vg person or have allergies? I can not vape custards or cinnamon. That can make finding a vendor or juices more challenging.

Isn't Alhusion a NET? I've yet to try them, but my tastes are very particular so I probably won't bother.

I really enjoyed your post Mark. It gave me a lot to think about, not just about vaping and smoking, but also about how to handle this stressful fix my kitchen now! business. Which I am slowly coming to realize is going to take months. Have to find a way to cope. Funny, I have not had an overwhelming desire or craving to pick up a cigarette, but I am looking for Something. Something to fill that void of what to do when I am so angry or stressed I can not see straight. Or just feeling totally defeated and worn down and knowing that it is only the beginning.

What have we all found to fill that void? I do not drink either so that is not my escape. I have been sucking on hard candies. Just noticed I have gone through a lot of them this week. Must..avoid..scale. And my blood sugar meter. At least it is not Reese's Peanut Butter Cups this time.

I joined this thread to vent about smoking a cigarette.
You can give into the lie that it's the end of everything good or you can choose to look at it like tripping over a stick, get up, dust off the mud and carry on with your journey through the woods on your way to the mountain top of freedom.
One thing we can get used to is not having to kick the buttocks of the craving by vaping but with no nicotine we have to fight the 3 minutes of time that the craving tells our brain and body every lie in the book.
I was just thinking this morning I no longer drink any alcoholic beverages because I cannot enjoy 1 without falling into the trap again of intellectual/emotional alcoholism but there were times when I could. Smoking is the same way. Eventually we learn to deal with the addiction, accept it for what it is, and find other ways to get the emotional fix that smoking provides. Until then, just remember you're human and on a journey of not only learning knowledge but learning about self as each chain link is broken. Bad times can bring us down or we can look for the positive in them. It brought you here, you didn't just suck it up without sharing the frustration and admitting it felt REALLY NICE to fail during the failure. Next time you'll probably find something else to beat that. This might be a catalyst to get you into the habit of keeping a spare bottle of juice somewhere convenient and easy to access in case of emergency. Same thing with a charger for your battery. I learned as a smoker always keep a spare lighter handy because the only thing worse than not having a cigarette was having a cigarette with no way to light it.
I hope you and the family get over the yuk , or wherever, really soon.

Good for you. It sounds like you may have a B&M that cares and is willing to listen to their customers. Does the owner vape? I find that makes a difference, especially if he has RBAs too. Let us know how it goes.

well, anyone remember the local B&M that i complained about not having anything advanced? they listened to my feedback. they bought good batteries (used to have some 2-pack that claimed 5000 mah but barely gave 500mah, which they appologised for and offered to replace each battery with a sony high amp battery for free *i dont need the replacement, just wanted them to know those batteries were junk*) they anow are carrying quite a few APV's and im not sure how many rebuildables they now carry. im planning on headingthere sunday. might get a hammer mod. but i dont have any batteries that will fit unless my 18500 will fit. and girlfriend wants a VV/VW device herself now, so we will see what the store has in price range for us.

Delores, you do just fine. Me, I will get on here late at night these days and just post away replies. By the time I figure out I am 6 conversations behind and 5 people have already answered, I have filled up a page with my posts and banter. Or rants.

I am going to be running around like a fool for who knows how many days trying to get estimates for kitchen islands and flooring to my ins co so they up their payment for covering our loss. Did you know that our Home Depot and Lowe's are charging $75 to have someone come out to the house to measure for cabinets? And a separate $75 for a flooring guy to come out and measure? Crazy. Our local Servicemaster Restoration company wants $250 to come out and do an estimate. And ins co demands estimates to change their amount they will pay to fix kitchen. Had it out with ins co claims rep today. She will check my policy to see if they will pay for estimates. Otherwise she will send another adjuster out. Told her that is not acceptable since first one did such a poor job of measuring and pricing.

Watch what you say. Talk to your lawyer. There have been some changes to Social Security and who knows what Obamacare has done with the medicare stuff. But there have been changes. It used to be it would go back to when you filed your claim, which for you would be a couple of years and you would be getting a fairly decent check lump sum for that time period. The medicare/medical portion may be the part that is starting Jan. 1st and that would cover your recent hospital stay. Talk to your lawyer.

I have Karen. Trouble with the sugar free hard candies is that if I enjoy too many of them, I am doing it from the bathroom. Some days I enjoy them more than others. :D

Then there are Chocolates - Russel Stover's Sugar Free - "Toffee" Squares, Cashews Patties, etc. (even dark chocolates too) . . . Oh and then there is No Sugar Added/Sugar Free "Klondike" - "Toffee Krunch" Ice Bars . . . BTW: Never "liked" sweets that much until I became a diabetic . . .

I have the same problems with Russell Stover sugar-free chocolates, Shari. It's the polyols (sugar alcohols) that are so troublesome. Most of us humans cannot digest them properly, so they give us bad reactions (of the bathroom kind).

I've always had a soft spot for chocolate, Uncle. I'm glad Russell Stover makes such good varieties of the sugar-free kind. I just have to remember to enjoy them a couple at a time, and not too often.

child finally went down. made a decent microcoil, cant get cotton to thread without seperating the coils. make a normal coil, leaks every 3rd puff. or gurgles when not even connected to PV. right now im tired of fiddling with it and having my coils being gunked up and not producing the vapor i know they can. cranking voltage all the way up gives me half of what i know it can provide. cant wait til sunday. will buy some more coils atleast.

Uncle, im not much of a milk/white chocolate person. too much sugar for me. i like dark chocolate. the darker the better. lol. im the odd person who will buy the blocks of bittersweet melting chocolate and eat that rather than buy a candy bar because it has less sugar and tastes better to me.

my child loves anything chocolate though.

Uncle, I hear you with the not liking sweets so much until diabetic. I am absolutely convinced that either our diabetic bodies or that damn Metformin makes us crave the high carbs. I did Atkins diet back around 12 years ago, before diabetic. Lost enough weight to be a size 6-8. Became diabetic and started Metformin and I am more than several sizes larger. Got larger before Metformin but I will bet after diabetic. And I have tried Atkins again. Can't drop the weight and I do not feel well if I cut my carbs back that much.

Well read the bac of the package most of them say - 3 pieces equal 1 serving - Not bad and enough for "Me" (well most of the time ) . . .

I Hear Ya' . . . AND - Watch the Child's intake . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

Well - Since the change and taking the medications, I really dislike saying this since "you" are having problems . . . However, I have dropped over 60 lbs without trying and I'm still losing weight . . . Which honestly I do not like, especially since I am not trying - NOT NICE having to keep buying pants/shorts every couple of months because they keep falling off "My" .... . . .
