That sounds more like you will blow a hole in your poor throat. A couple of weeks ago I picked up the partial bottle of my first all day vape, NLV Gold in 24mg. I dripped some in my 510 atty like I did exclusively for months. Way too strong for me now and I can not tell if I do not like the flavor as much or it is because of the nic level. I am down to 12mg and sometimes closer to 6mg in my r91 and could not imagine putting that Gold in there.

I think talking about normal everyday vape type things is a good thing. When bad stuff happens sometimes the routine is stabilizing. Helps you stay connected when you feel you are drowning in the moment.

For the DIY juice makers?
Do you ever notice that the higher you make your nic level, the more it affects the taste of your juice?
My nic concentrate (100mg) browned a tiny little bit, but it really isn't rancid. But I do notice that the higher my nic level, the more flavor is affected. Maybe it's just me.
But ever since I went back to 30mg, I notice my flavoring is off. Then again, maybe I should try it in my dripper real quick, see what happens.

Sub-ohmimg 30mg juice in a dripper. This should be fun. Sure I will be high for my next post lol

Maybe go back down to 24mg and only use the 30mg 10 minutes out of each hour?

I have been playing with my diy and trying to drop from 12mg to 6mg. I keep adding some vg to dilute it down so I have no idea what mg I have been vaping. Probably pretty low because I am chain vaping and not getting the same satisfaction for a lot more vaping. I have read in several threads here about people not liking their juice as much in 6mg when they drop from 12mg. They talk about the flavors do not taste the same. Some say they lose the throat hit. I do not have any vendor 6mg to really compare it. But it seems like a big drop for me with how I am trying to do it.

Yup. little better in my dripper. Also just started using that Koh Gen Doh Japanese cotton. So got a little better flavor on the dripper. But yeah, flavor def suffering. Might shoot back down to 24 here soon. But on the other hand, I don't want to change too much too fast. I am back on first day without smoking as of noon-ish today

When I first started sub-ohming I was down to like 8mg. That was enough nic and didn't make me cough. But I guess all the smoking recently has upped my nic needs and killed my throat enough to be able to handle it, I guess. I didn't even cough. Hopefully, that will change soon, because I don't want to keep going on 30mg. Not just for sake of flavor either. I would be happy at like 18 for everyday vape. Lower if possible.

But I am also a three pack a day smoker, so guess I am a bit of a heavyweight when it comes to stuff like throat hit and nic level. At least till by body recovers a bit.

I think also when you start vaping/coming off cigs, the tar on your lungs affects nic absorption. I have heard this, I think, and thought this myself. Don't have any data on it. I think as your lungs clear, your absorption rate goes up and you need less and less nic in your juice.

Can you up your nic level? You know, this is probably one of the most stressful times you will go through. It is not worth making yourself sick over being so stressed just not to have a cigarette. Breathe. Try to find something to occupy your mind and your hands.

If you go back to the first thread and do some reading around the 4th of July 2013 and the rest of the month you will read a lot about what I and the other posters did for tricks to not smoke. Some of us were pulling all nighters. That was when I was newly vaping and was up 20 hours a day fighting to not smoke. Lots of ideas and support in those pages. It may be worth a good read so you can see you are not alone.

You know that is true. I even posted something about that some days ago. Even thought about that as I was typing my last post lol Why I didn't change it, I dunno. But I do know this, there is still tar buildup in the nose. AND there is some percentage that enters the lungs. But obviously, I do agree with you.

Well, right now, I am having to streamline more. I batch my juice for the week(s) ahead. I currently have 120ml mixed at 30, which will last me a couple weeks, I think. What I will do, especially now that I have WTA in my aresenal, is go ahead and start mixing at 24. By the time I get through that 120ml, I should be off analogs long enough to drop down to 24.

That WTA makes all the difference. I'm frankly amazed at how effective it is, even in very small doses -- I can't afford to vape it "straight," plus 12mg is a bit strong for me, I don't like to go over 10mg, and lower at night, but even mixing just a bit of aroma's 12mg WTA-Virginia with my regular Virginia... no cravings... no emotional dysfunction. It's terrific! But tomorrow I'm mixing up a 30ml with just a bit less, to vape until I closer to 3 months, when I'll increase it again.

At the top of the page go to the Settings Tab and then scroll down to Edit Signature. You should be able to put the banner url in there. I have also read that you can click on the banner of someone's that you like and somehow you can use it. I am not good at this computer stuff.

I didn't catch the doctor who broadcast live, I don't have cable tv. I did see a unfinished copy in black and white of it though, was puzzled about the dinosaur pretty much the whole time. I think the new doctor will grow on me.

I think the higher nic does affect flavor some, and the nic affects throat hit which it seems when I have more throat hit I have less flavor? But mixing stronger flavors either gives more throar hit or over flavors and reduces the flavor.

Worse case scenario, just use unflavored.

Reminds me to check deals to get more nic. Im out. And an excuse to get new flavors! Lol.

I don't think 30 is that high. I had to use 36 to get off cigs. Staying around 24 now and comfortable. Its odd because in my dripper (dual coil cellucotton 22 watts) I seem to like it around 18 but in my aqua (dual coil cellucotton 22 watts) tank I need the 24 to be satisfied. Im just wierd.

The only real purpose the dinosaur served in the episode was to make two points. 1) How much out-of-it the Doctor was out of that regeneration (that he would accidentally pick up a dinosaur in transit and then start flirting with it) and 2) to have a moment of reflective compassion and critique of the "pudding brains" by a Doctor who is a little gritty and does some other un-compassionate actions in the episode (like stealing a homeless man's jacket). That way we can all say "oh, he isn't that bad. We got to see him freak out over the death of a big lizard."

That isn't to say I don't like the new Doctor. I really loved his performance. I just don't like some of the things Steve Moffat has done with the show. But that's just me. This season is supposed to be his last, and we are supposed to get a new showrunner. Think it would have been better to change showrunners with Doctors for consistency, but all in all, I am enjoying Capaldi. I see hints of his performance as Malcolm Tucker in it, which is kind of fun.

I didn't really like that we had a whole episode dedicated to basically brow-beating the audience that the new actor is playing the same role. That he regenerates and changes, but it is the same guy mostly, just a little different. So accept the new Doctor as really the Doctor, because that's just how things work with Time Lords. This wasn't bad, but any real Doctor Who fan also takes these things for granted. We already know there is a huge change, but we look forward to it and to meeting the new Doctor. But there are so many new fans who haven't "lived" through a regen that I guess they felt they had to really explain it to a newer, younger audience. Yes, they all watched the reruns, but they always had "their" Doctor to fall back on. Many haven't been in a place where "their" Doctor is gone - no more episodes starring Matt Smith.

It was an overall good episode. I just had a lot of "yeah, I know all this" through the whole thing.

So I broke down and bought myself another R91 v1 on the classys last night. It comes with some kind of clearish tank and top. Does anyone know what it is? The seller says you need a wide bore drip tip if you do not use the clear one. Is this a nano setup?

I don't think it's a nano, because the "tin man's hat" part of the chimney has some length on it; my nano, that upper part of the chimney is very short, barely there at all, just enough to engage that upper small o-ring.
