Thanks hun, yes the puppies are just fine. A bit less fur, but fleas and stress will do that. Taking tomorrow off to meet my wife's best friend (from school, at least) and get the house back to being a house again.

I would have a few choice words with your friend, the housesitter. But only after a good night's sleep and some reflection. You can also just wait for Karma to kick in. It will keep your blood pressure lower.

I was just going to suggest that now their xmas card list is one person shorter. :D

Hate to hear that for your doggies, though; we keep a flea collar on our cat but it doesn't seem to do any good, she brings 'em in regularly. :( We need for science to lay the hell off e-cigs and get busy with fleas, do to them what they've done to smallpox, because I have never seen the slightest point in the existence of the flea.

We use Seresto on Dakota - haven't seen a thing....they do make it for kitties too. Flea/tick collar on steroids....Amazon has them for about 40 - last about 8 months or so (or is it 10?). I never had Dakota's genes tested - I'm leery of the monthly flea/tick pills as his breed often carries a mutation that makes some meds lethal, pesticides the most of all.

Our kitty wears nothing - he's never outside and Dakota isn't bringing anything in, so the Seresto is working. He's on his 2nd one.

We're a bit leery of paying too much for a flea collar, because our cat has the most amazing ability to yank them off and lose them -- her original rabies vaccination tag was lost, somewhere, along with a very expensive flea collar we got when she was first old enough to wear them. Now we buy the $10 kind. :D

But she's always been an outdoor kitty with indoor privileges -- outdoors originally because of my allergy, now indoors a good deal because we've found that Zyrtec works great for me, and my husband spoils her to death. :D We'll just have to get some of the excellent "DeFlea" we found at PetCo; that stuff is effective on ALL stages of fleas, from eggs to adults. The last house we rented before buying this one was just *infested* with fleas from the cats that were there previously, but the DeFlea got rid of them completely.

No wonder my phone hadn't been notifying me of new posts. Fourm got stressed (so its not just us!) And forgot the schedules for password changes and made everyone change them.

I do not care for the new default theme. Way too bright for me. At least when I log in it reverts to my old black and red theme.

Been busy all weekend. Child has a heart checkup later today.
Have been using my dripper all weekend and remembering why I don't use it all the time. My poor throat feels like I have strep. All dry and sore. Might be getting sick though, its also my first warning sign to being sick.

Think I may have not ddripped liquid soon enough and it might be contributing to my sore throat. Running humidifier (even though its been super muggy recently).

Need to change wick in dripper, then put it up for a while. Refilled aqua and forgot to change wick when it was empty and semiclean (tore it down to change flavors, forgot to replace wicks grr) so I have pineapple in my apple pie.

Visiting a new ecig store that ipened near me. I know they have clones of popular mechs and like sub ohming from the Facebook group discussions. Hoping to find something to get.

Thursday a game I want to play goes into open beta, then is released on the 17 (I think, im tired).

Child had fun at labor day Parade. Had a few middle school age kids (looked like they may have been bullies in thier grade) help the little kids get candy. They only ate maybe 5 pieces each and kept nothing else and helped parents bring candy closer to the little kids so they could stay on the curbs. I liked that. Took them to get ice cream accross the street after the parade for being helpful. Reward good behavior right? Lol.

And im off to bed. Night.

Well. At least the new ecig store has decent flavors. And new bramds on the way. Clones for what they cost online with out coupons.

The bad is it seems to dislike people using anything other than a mech, and anyone over .4 ohms. Claimed 18mg on a .16 ohm coil was equal to 72mg in protank. Uh.... what?

At least I took my dripper so I didn't have to use the evod testers they had.

LOOK AT ALL OUR GREAT FLAVORS (which no one can taste because we insist on crossing the barrier that trades flavor for clouds.).
I sub-ohm myself. But ecigs are about finding what works for you, not being an elitist who thinks if you aren't dangerously close to shorting out your mech and blowing your face off, you aren't a real vaper.

Just saying. I know your feel , topdogie. But cool you found a place with nice flavors. And probably the only person in there enjoying all those flavors have to offer. lol

And then they sell those sub ohm setups to brand new vapers that do not have a clue how to use it or know about the safety issues and what an ohm is.

I am surprised there are not more news stories about people blowing their faces off. I guess it is just a matter of time. We are in trouble. There will be very restrictive regulation put on all this if vaping even survives outside of the Blu.

Hmm.. I had a $49.98 charge. And although we patronize Home Depot, pretty sure it was my husband's card we used, but it was my card that got the fraudulent charge.

I think it's a weight-loss scam. I got some crap in the mail today that I did not order, called 'Garcinia Cambogia'... it's supposed to be a super-weight-loss thing, to suppress appetite. The fraudulent charge I saw said something like "Pwrtrm" -- which maybe means "Power Trim".

But, since I never ordered the crap, I will stand behind my refusal of it to my bank.

Top, what they're talking about is nicotine delivery being higher when sub-ohming because they create more vapor over the same amount of time.

And no, they are not correct.

There is a relationship to vapor production and nicotine delivery of course, but its by no means that dramatic.

As far as sub-ohming, tell them to bite you. No smoking is the goal, not chasing clouds.

Suggestion, make a wick less coil for the next time you go flavor testing. About 2 or 3 hits and the flavor is gone...

Exactly Shari. That's why I'm working on the blog and the vape meet at the local B&M will feature a building seminar and "fastest build" contest along with the cloud contest.

Never thought of a wickless coil.

For the nicotine part I held my tongue. If there is x per ml, just having more vapor doesn't increase it. Just means more total ml.

I'll have to wrap you up an example after work.

That's the thing, its slightly higher because you vaporize more liquid over the same time frame vs a higher resistance coil (similar to single coil vs multiple coil).

The reality is a very small amount of increased nicotine and its more of an oxygen displacement in your blood stream thing from both the large inhale and the volume of vapor in your lungs vs a "normal" inhale from something like a tank in a normal (1-2ohms) range.

ive been vaping a few months now but i still smoke a little. its only because my job is so boring (security guard) that i used to chain vape and burn out my atomizers too fast. once a week or every other week ill buy a pack of marlboro special blends or newport non-menthols (my favorites from when i had a regular cigarette habit) to try to give my ecig a break. although now i have a nautilus tank and it seems to hold out longer than the x2o clearos i had before.

I had the same issue. I got a kayfun and now I can't use any other tank. But to break the habit of buying a pack I just had to force myself to not buy a pack.

Welcome to the thread, Sam. It is easy to pick up a cigarette when your vaping is not satisfying you or you seem to go through your consumables quickly. Although vaping using an atomizer or head a day is still a lot cheaper than smoking in most states.

When I used Kanger products I always made sure that I had a few 5 packs of heads for backups and I was good about rinsing them out and setting them aside for rebuilding. I never was able to rebuild the tiny evod/protank coils so I ended up getting myself a Russian 91% and I can build the coils on that and I wick with Koh Gen Doh cotton. Before that I used organic cotton balls.

I also use Joye 510 attys to drip in. They last weeks and give you a flavorful vape. The major drawback is that you are tied to dripping and carrying a juice bottle with you all the time. But they are my go to for when I can not get my coil or wick just right on my Russian, or when I am tasting new juices.

There also is the factor of you deciding how much you want to stop smoking. Everyone has the ability to choose. Smoking and vaping is fine, lots of people do that all the time, they just usually do not post about it. Some people start vaping and never pick up another cigarette. A lot of people do struggle with the cravings and wanting a cigarette, some more than others.

What are you using for equipment. I see you got yourself a Nautilus. That is a nice tank and I hear the BVC coils are supposed to be really good, better than the bdc. I do not know if you can rebuild those or not.

I did a lot of gritting my teeth and having to stop myself from running out to the gas station at 3am for a pack of cigarettes too. It got better the longer I vaped and did not smoke. My stubbornness helped.
