I have juice that's 3+ years old and it's just fine. Since I DIY I rarely use "store bought" juice but now and then I do drag it out.
When I first started in 2010 they said that since pg, vg were both preservatives and along with nicotine had antibacterial properties it could last indefinitely. Though the nic content could could drop marginally due to oxidation. Seems to me it's all a matter of opinion.

Oh I forgot to thank everyone for your replies to my question about the e-juice. I'm so glad to hear that I don't have to chunk all this stuff.
Now I have another question. Let's talk about "Dripping", shall we? What are your feelings/thoughts on dripping/dipping? Have you tried it? Did you like? Do you still do it? If not, why? If so, what do you use to do it with. Do you think it might help with my throat hit thing?
TY in advance,
TxTigger

Aikanae1,
What does that mean to us? I mean how is that going to affect me? Will I need to log on differently? Change my password? Do the hokey pokey and turn myself around?

Inquiring Mind,
Tigger

I don't know. I don't always read the forum news and that's where this was posted (except the Facebook part - sarcasm). I'd like to say that there won't be any noticable change but it sounds like there will be. They've been preparing for this for awhile. As with everything tech, it never hurts to have a plan B.

Basically, I drip all the time. It has incredible flavor and vapor density when built correctly. Just be sure to keep it safe.

As far as what I use, I run 3 & 4 post rda's and I put them on either a good mechanical mod with a 30 amp battery (efest or Sony) or my ipv3 regulated box mod (dual 18650) from Pioneer4U.

Not sure what you mean about throat hit, do you want more th or less... there are multiple ways to get either one by simply modifying either the juice or the build.

Let me know and I'll try to help if I can.

Yeah, there always seems to be some of that when they do anything to the software. They're doing it Saturday, right? I think that's the day we'll go up and do my folks' housecleaning; maybe it'll be more-or-less "up" when we get home that night.

I'm also going to check out your blog! :thumb:
Ever since I tried the RBA section on my Kanger Subtank, I've become interested in RTAs/RBAs and RDAs.
Awesome, I didn't do much with rta's on it but they are pretty much the same as rda's. If you have questions, fire away and I'll help if I can.

I'll get a specific section for rta's done asap

Ok, quick update info on ejuicemeup...

The flavor count per recipe has been updated to 10, and in some cases people are making compound or nested recipes:
1zotXMi.jpg

Also, they have given users the option to work with ingredients on a grams for weight ratio:
IWhdmCC.jpg

And have given is the option to use our own scale measurements as the calculations that the calculator uses to make the conversion.

Finally, they have broken down the option to mix separate nicotine bases with various pg/vg ratios and make a workable base to add our flavoring to as a final recipe.

Also, more finished recipes have been added as starting points, and the conversion from the UK "," to the USA decimal point is now available.

Check the website http://www.breaktru.com for the updates and more info. The download link is near the bottom.

Good luck

One question... does it allow you to specify nic level for ingredients? That single feature is why I use DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nic. - PG/VG Adjust -- I add WTA (24mg), I add my "sweet flash" (10mg), I sometimes add/combine pre-made ejuice... so I need a way to specify the nic level of EVERY ingredient, so the total nic level can be figured.

I would use the nic base feature for that. When my images upload so I can save bandwidth I'll show you the basic workflow.

Please note, I don't want to suggest people preferring any calculator over another, I'm just highlighting features of the one I use all the time.

In your case Andrea, your calculator may be better suited for what you are doing.

Here's the basic idea:
Pull up the Nic combine from the tools menu
EzhXkoG.jpg

Plug in your variables, these are just an example, and click calculate. The form will be updated with your result so you get a running total that you can send to the main form.

This is the result from that test:

And it transfers to recipe as well:

You can modify with whatever flavorings you need as well, I just didn't highlight it here. If anyone is interested, I could do a workflow on a basic recipe after work tonight as a blog post.

Good luck folks

Yeah, that would mean I'd have to PRE combine all my nic-containing ingredients, and have to try and figure out what proportion -- which just wouldn't work; all my percentages are for percentage of the whole.

I was hoping that one of their recent updates might have included this improvement, but I guess it doesn't. It's too bad, because I'd really love an offline calculator; if my internet connection goes down (like the recent events!), I can't even occupy myself with mixing, since I can't contact that calculator if my whole connection is down. :(

Hey guys we have a contest running to help new people and or those still struggling. Feel free to nominate someone you think needs help. I'm really disappointed there's no entries yet. The pif group is about helping others - and no one is getting involved in this :(
Times have changed I guess.
