My issues with the fillerless stuff have been reliability and longevity. I hate fillers, but some of my regular cartos are still working after 6 months, and it was really painful to have to throw away the clearos and CE3 that I was gifted after just one month. Plus it was a PITA to have to wipe off the post after every other hit. Could I have rebuilt them? Sure, but who wants to go through all of that? (the coiling, the threading, checking the resistance,...) Not me. So I guess I'm on the fence now, between going with one tech or the other. But if SI were to keep with the engineering, work out the kinks (the leaking mostly), and made the coils replaceable (unscrew the old head, screw in a new one) on the fillerless stuff, then I wouldn't feel like I'm just making do and trying to get by with my vaping gear, which is how I feel about poly-filled cartos now.

And I'm not convinced that's condensation. When an unattached leaky clearo sits upright, I think that's definitely juice dripping out of the post hole, albeit slowly. I think maybe the wick gets thinner over time, killing the seal that it makes with the holes to the post. Just sayin'...

I'll second that! I'd buy it immediately in an X2. Matching clearos or T3's would be icing on the cake.

That would be a great color. We have black so there should be brown. But only after a pretty pink

And don't tell me that there is always the wraps. I tried one and the end result wasn't pretty. I knew I'd screw it up. Lol. Trying to put it on the cone was the worst. I tried doing a Zagg cover on a laptop before so I knew I shouldn't have tried it. I even watched the video half a dozen times!

Yeah, that rubbery finish is hard to beat. The wraps have that "vinyl" feel (haha, that's what it is) that I don't mind for cartos, but for the batts I prefer the rubbery finish best. Imagine - Ego batteries have one feature I'd love to have on my X2s. As you probably know, when you take an Ego battery off the charger the manual button LED is white then when the charge level gets down to 50% it changes to blue and then to dark blue at 10%. I really like this because I hate getting caught off guard when my battery runs down. Has S.I. considered adding this to the X2s?

Imagine, if, sometime in the future, you guys were to upgrade the USB connection on the X2s to a MICRO (same as on most smart phones) instead of the existing MINI (same as on most cameras), it would give us way better options for heavy duty cables, etc.
They make better stuff with MICRO connections than they do with MINIs (because of all the smart phone users out there), and the included cable doesn't seem to hold up very well.

...and you can start that on the ENGRAVED DRAGON batts!

Wow Cindy those are way cool but you would never convince the LEOs here in the south that it wasn't drug paraphernalia. I already get the 1000 yard stare from them because I ride a Harley in a MC have long hair smoke a funny looking thing = Must be DRUGS. But I like the engraving.

If they're gonna stare you down anyway, might as well look cool, right? What are they gonna do? It's not illegal.

Yea but with my luck they will want to take them and test them and then I would get locked up for head smacking a cop for being stupid. Back here in the country we still have the Barney Fife type of LEO's and those are the smart ones and unfortunately their family tree don't have any limbs so they are all related, I think they all call the Sheriff "Uncle Daddy". Even though I was born in the next county over I am considered an outsider. It's the price I pay to live on the side of a mountain in the middle of the Shenandoah National Forest, my next door neighbors are a family of Black Bears who have about 50 more IQ points than the cops do!

I have a suggestion. I'm not one for bling so I don't like the sparkle end caps but I don't like the ash style caps either. Looks too much like a ciggie! Any chance of a plain flat or dome cap or something similar? I do like the led so I know that my battery is firing or charging so keeping the translucent nature is fine by me.

Also, end caps with better vents would be nice. Two out of three of mine have had to be modded (holes drilled just below the lip at the vent channels) just to get the battery to fire reliably.

I like them to look like a cig.

I'd like either a CE3 or a Nano (without the current req'd drip tip) to come in phaux cig .... or black.

The original draw, for me and MOST current analoguers, is the fact that it looks like a real stankie. Just look at how well the Ce3/Nano/Phoenix stuff sells.

Or at least make a wrap (that has a little window).

Just a thought...
