Last time I used that material was a couple of years ago for an ice cream parlor. Great for signs but I'm not sure how well it would hold up on a battery as a wrap. This, I would have to test...I have used other metalized film for battery wraps in the past and the edges curled and chipped. Wasn't that bad but still... The process for this type of color may need to be done by liquid "sprayed on the tube" by the manufacture during production like the batts you get in black, white, yellow etc.
I'll see about getting a sample and test it out

Yeah, iridescent describes it better. Whatever it is, it is cool looking. I've seen jewelry made out of that metal and think it would make for a popular battery.

I have a few pieces of mystic topaz. Some in the blue/purple/green and a couple in pink/orange/purple. But I'm not looking for a glittery rainbow skin, more of that watercolor glow.
Naturally I'd prefer the battery itself made from that metal, but I would settle for a wrap. Or even a metal sleeve. I should track down someone that makes the jewelry and see if they could do such a thing. I really don't think the battery makers are ever gonna do this (I've been asking for a year). But if I can get one done, maybe I can get more and sell them myself Then I can retire to Hawaii

You know when you first go to the website and you are asked to fill in your birthday? That is SOOOOOOO annoying. Can't they just do a "Are you 18yrs old" button like most other places?

So here's what I want (in addition to the mystic battery shown above and an 808 multi-battery charger):
Anyone remember those giant pens from when we were kids (provided you're old enough to remember 'em)? They had a huge barrel that held a zillion different ink colors. You could select any color and quickly switch to a different one. Well, I want the same thing for Volt cartos that would hold like eight different flavors in a revolver-like barrel. I could just revolve the barrel to select a new flavor. We could attach it to our Volt X2's! That's doable, right?

I have one and it comes in quit handy to just carry five cartomizers with me in my pocket . . . hint - hiNT - HINT
