Been There, Done that too...OK, first time I forgot to re-open the juice flow control. It never was a matter of if but instead a matter of when. Got about five big puffs in before I realized my wick was thirsting for more juice. Good way to learn.![]()

Ima gettin old I suppose?!?
While I like the post...Haha easy to forget!
And I thought for the rest, I'd follow up as I think just like the other poster, this seemed to have cured the issue of my juice control freezing solid.
I opened the generous bag of replacement o-rings and used the circled ones on the left. The ones with the x's through them were the ones I took off with a toothpick. Wasn't the easiest thing in the world... Haha. But man - all is 100% now! Buttery smooth all the time!

And here's the pics of the base with the old rings, then the new installed. You can kinda see the difference. Not huge, but enough to make that difference in getting frozen and not getting frozen.

New (smaller)

When I first started driving I was warned not to drive like a raped ape but it didn't stop me from getting in a wreck. The wrecks taught me way more than the advice. Fortunately I survived them. You were warned.
Great Pix Stanley!!!Call em the "flavors of the week" (or day - haha). But I'm loving these two atty's right now!!

How far are you opening the juice control? The build really isn't any different than the KFLs.Hey guys, just received mine yesterday and the first build was working great. Then later on that night and this morning I was getting some gurgling and flooding [emoji34]. How are you guys wicking your kayfuns??? By the way I am not new to the kayfuns scene or rebuilding in general, so I was a bit surprised to be having this issue
Hmmm. Try rewicking the thing using different amounts of wick material. I'm guessing you have too little. Make your wick wider, perhaps. And as long as it just touches the deck (similar to other Kayfun builds) you should be OK. If that fails, go in the other direction and make your wick thinner. Also, it never hurts to check your o-rings. Maybe just change the inner one and see what happens. Some things to try.I do about one turn 60/40 pg to vg
