FYI ....

I just put an identical single 27 gauge Kanthal 1.3 ohm coil in both my EHPro kayfun Lite-Plus V2 clone and my Lemo 2. Both devices were powered to 13 watts, and the airflow was set on both devices to the same resistance.

Also, I used the same juice in both (60% VG / 40% PG), and both had the same Japanese cotton wicking.

Even used the same drip tip (kayfun 4 style) on both devices.

Well, I could not tell any difference at all between the two ... none whatsoever.

Great vape on both .... That was my own un-scientific test.

UD has the Bellus and the goliath Ive been using both latly and my Kayfuns are put up
The flavor is great and both airflows can be adjusted to the Kayfun lite amounts

I've been using Gems lately and the flavor is just as good as the KF4 if not better. Top fill and rebuild without draining. Qorax has a good video on them...
Don't know about how they compare to the kf4, but I agree it's the best flavor I've gotten out of an RTA. Even better than the erlprinz. It should come with a guzzler tax though. Seems to make juice disappear rather quickly

I think I'll keep them since I picked them up for $9.95 on sale a year ago. They are all Tobeco clones, not Svoemesto.

I just ordered a Lemo 2 to see what all the popularity is about. Seems most threads on "best RTA" The Lemo shows up multiple times. It also allows filling without emptying the tank and people say the flavor is better than KF3.

I have a completely off-topic question since it has nothing at all to do with the Kayfun 5 ....

For you folks that have both a Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 and the Kayfun V4 .... which Kayfun do you believe gives the best overall vape for a mouth to lung vaper who uses a fairly restrictive airflow?

How about overall leaking ... Which Kayfun seems to be the least problematic as far as occasional leaking from the atty is concerned?
___________________________

I will say that my authentic Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 I used to have had a slight problem with gurgling every once in awhile (no matter how it was wicked), and would also leak on occasion. I guess you could say that it was a little 'temperamental', but it was still a dream to vape.

Thanks,

K4 for lung hits. The air tubes are larger. K3 is probably better for those of us who vape low wattage. The drip tips are interchangeable. I've vaped the K3 small hole drip tip and the K4 large bore drip tip on both.

Kayfuns gonna leak (from my experience). If you put one in your pants pocket it's very likely that the heat rise will cause juice expansion and a couple of dew like drops will emerge. They seem to do well in a jacket pocket.

O-ring condition is crucial to leakage. Replace them if the tank won't hold a vacuum. Check that by covering the air holes with your finger and drawing a slight vacuum on the drip tip. Hold it for a few seconds with your tongue on the drip tip. You should hear the suction when you release.

If the coil deck base o-ring doesn't fix it, then replace the small ring on the top cap that goes over the chimney tube. That one gets rubbed every time you recoil or replace a wick. It's hard to change the first time, but once you discover the technique it's a piece of cake to change. Push it into the hole so that the leading edge goes into the slot and then continue on until it pops in and expands. Then, insert the chimney top and revolve to smooth it into the ring seat. Always put a drop of juice on the rings when you take it apart and put it back together.

Unless you're @Bronze - then you've never had any of the following in your Kayfuns:

-leak
-gurgle
-dry hit
-nothing but perfect flawless vape from your first build forward

Some people just have a knack for perfection. The rest of us have to work at it.

I can tell you this .... I had an authentic Svoemesto Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 for about a year before losing it in the Philippines. It was a very good vape, but the device did occasionally leak out of the air inlet hole. It also would gurgle and flood at times. I tried every possible style of wicking, but I just contributed it to a design problem. Had the Kayfun not provided me with such a good vape (mouth to lung), I would have pitched it long before I lost it.

However, I just purchased an EHPro Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 clone (dual air adjustment screw version), and after vaping it now continually for 2 days straight ... it has NOT leaked or gurgled even once.

I have fallen in love with this clone ! !
