Qorax, you know I enjoy your videos, and posts, I've always appreciated your opinion, and your input. I buy both clones and authentic. IF I enjoy the product I'll buy an authentic. That said Your opinion is valid, nothing wrong with that. However your post insulting and stating clone users do not matter, and have delusions is very much over the top.

I realize I'm basically just a nobody, who's opinion does not make any difference, and you could probably care less. But you've lost all respect from me.

Dividing the community with a judgment of morality is NOT what we need.
Dear sir, I'm usually a somber fella, I play nice 99% of the time. But sometimes, once-in-a-while, you need to come out harsh to drive a point home. This was one of those times. Nonetheless, I am sorry if I hurt you.

Ps.: Btw, this is not the thread for it, but I can give you 200 reasons why not to use a fake. And why you don't need to.

And let me make a final point. From time to time there are some who come to this thread with the purpose of stirring things up. They play around the edges, they offer their left handed comments, they like getting people riled up, etc.. Ultimately, their goal is to shut down the thread. Believe me, I have thought about closing this thread because I am sick and tired of fighting about clones. There is only one reason why I haven't closed this thread and it's because I wont give the agitators the satisfaction of achieving what they aim to do. Instead, I am simply going to allow the moderators deal with it. For those who are here to discuss the authentic SM Kayfun Mini V3, great. Let's enjoy the thread as intended. For those who are here simply to agitate (overtly or otherwise) you will be referred to the moderators. I'm done playing referee.

If you like discussing clones then go to the clone threads. If you like discussing both then start your own thread. This thread is for authentic Svoemesto Kayvun Mini V3 enthusiasts.

Insulting people is not the way to make a point.
Hmm, how about a 'directly insulting' signature lurking around in all 'authentic threads' for over a year now? And me playing nice to it with sweet monitions multiple times - but in vain.

On a brighter note, I got a call from a buddy of mine, a few days back. He got the KM3, it's his first RTA (translated from Latvian):
- Dude, I cleaned everything, tightened everything, put a new wick in, but there's no air! No air, man! I take a draw and it's like sucking on an empty balloon!
- Air-screw open?
- Wha..???
- That small thingy under the positive pin screw.
- Oh.. OOOooHHHHHHH... Yep. Could be. I wanted to exchange that screw for the plastic one but I think I lost them.
- ...
- Yep, no idea...
- Working now?
- Perfectly. Thanks.

Dude's enjoying his HHV NET's on his KM3, so all is good.

I'm not aware of whom you are referencing, I'm not defending anyone, you may have a legitimate reason for posting what you did, I'm not trying to argue with you, or insult you in anyway. I was more surprised than anything to see you post that. It was something I would expect from those that troll these threads.

When you respect someone you have expectations, I guess I'm more disappointed then insulted. I will exit this discussion now, and expect most of this will be deleted and removed.

Just food for thought, not all people who buy clones are delusional morally corrupt individuals.

I hope everybody's vented, made their points, etc and we can go back to the topic now.

I have question about those plastic screws. Can someone who actually uses them post the picture and explain the reason why. Thanks in advance!

You don't need a picture.
Those plastic screws were invented for the K4. The K4, with the original screw, tended to have a dirty gurgly tight draw, because the metal screw let some air through the threads, and with all that condensate in that air chamber, a tight draw on a K4 was quite gurgly. The plastic screw fixed that. As the KM3 uses the same airflow system as the K4, the same screws were offered and I suggestyou to order those too.

I got the plastic screws to set up for a tight draw. The gurgling was driving me nuts so `I opened it up and ordered the new screws. In the intervening period, I am quite enjoying a very open m2l experience. So now i may have to get another one to set it up as i had it before, tight draw with kanthal and convert the one i have to a open, restricted m2l with a TC build...lol!

Thanks Raitizz.
So this is a replacement for B13 (K4), airflow regulation screw. I never had an issue with gurgling, probably by keeping it opened enough...perhaps I am no longer an MTL vaper :) Anyway, just checked SM on-line shop, the package comes with two plastic screws, should cover my both K4 and KM3.

I had a recent problem with my air flow screw coming loose over time. I suspect the plastic screw would solve that problem for those who might have it.

Thanks Bronze.
Until I got KM3 I was using K4 daily for a year, taking with me everywhere. It has few scars and dents, I broke 2 glass inserts, but still works like new. I haven't replaced a single oring yet and the airflow screw stays in place. I will go for plastic screws just "in case" or may be to remind myself what tight draw should be :)

Still really diggin the Steam Tuners poly tank (replaces glass). It's nice and thick poly. I haven't dropped it yet, but feel confident when I do, it'll survive without being scathed.

Also really diggin the drip tip/top cap combo. As I should since I have 2 poly tips and 2 metal tips for it :) (partly in anticipation for the KF5.. Haha.) I'll be seriously let down if they don't make a KF5 with these design principles.

Oh and I'm gonna keep rolling with this wick. See just how long I can go with it. Still tasting good today with another 4 mils through it since yesterday's post.

Juma, if someone bought an authentic KM3 and accessorized it I have no problem with that on this thread. Most of us use our own drip tips for example. Most all of us also buy cars and accessorize them, etc... The problem with the earlier flowring post was that to get the flowring you had to buy a cloned KM3. It was an innocent post but probably went a little too far. It should not have been that big of a deal though and I would expect everyone to deal with it like adults. If someone accessorized their SM KM3 then they should make it clear so if they are complaining that their KM3 leaks we know that it could be due to the accessory.

As a general comment...

I find it sad that we have to frame a constitution and form a supreme court for an ECF thread. Some of the comments we see here are just plain juvenile. We'll allow the ECF moderators deal with it for now.

Bronze, thanks for the explanation. Makes perfect sense. For the record, I'm planning to swap the stock tip with the plain one for the KF4, just as soon as the USPS gets it here. I like bit longer tip.

Funny. I was just vaping on my original Kayfun Lite. And I mean original (before the KFL Plus). It has that long, rounded drip tip on it and I was thinking how much I enjoyed that tip. :)

I like that tip too. If I could find authentics of those, I might use them. As it stands now, I've replaced the KFL+ tip with the plain one from the KF4. I just don't care for the lip on the KFL+, which is strange as I do like the Matilda tip and its lip for my Kabukis.

Yeah. I'm with you. The KFL+ drip dip is not my favorite either. It probably looks nicer but I don't care for the functionality. Too short and I dont like the lip on it either.

Ah see, that was the first thing I 'removed' from my K3.1ES & KFLs upon receiving them. Never liked that driptip. To me the Loki stubby was the best fit for the erstwhile K'fun's mouthpieces.
