Soon some of the guys on this thread (who are also on other authentic threads) will receive their counterfeits (some already have) and start preaching their delusion, advises on builds, suggestion tips etc. Intentionally oblivious to the fact that what they have has no bearing on what we have.

Replicas are inferior products. Even if it is not about their material/s or production quality, the concept itself is. Thus, whatever their users talk about - will never be in parity with what our experiences are. So their point/s would be moot and unwarranted.

I like an agree with almost everything you post. You and I travel very similar paths when it comes to vaping. I support authentic manufacturers and I don't buy clones. I'm in a financial situation that allows me to make that choice. I enjoy the hobby and the satisfaction I get from knowing I support the actual innovators of the products we use.

I'm quite confident that there's someone out there with a clone Atty that can show any one of us a trick or two. I wish you'd at least edit this post. I totally get what you were talking about....I still find it beneath you. I'll leave myself open to suggestions from anyone using similar equipment to mine and as unfortunate as the cloning thing is, I'm not shallow enough to think all my stuff is in a different league as anyone else's. It's vape gear....not pacemakers.
Either way, I'll leave it all alone. The fanaticism on both sides of the argument is silly.

Your concept of someone else's morality has no bearing whatsoever on the vape.

Preach the morality of support for the original designer if you will. You may be right. But to suggest that the same, exactly copied, design made from the same, readily available material will have different vape characteristics is folly.

Therefore, all discussion of third-party accessories is out of bounds? Like Steam-Tuners and Captivape? Or is it just Chinese manufactured accessories that are frowned upon?

This bickering back and forth about clones and authentics needs to stop. Who do people really think they are to try and force their own morality on someone else? I will post wherever I want, on whatever I want. Having someone tell me I can't or even that I should try and censor what I say so I don't offend someone else's delicate sensibilities is ridiculous.
The vaping community as a whole is dividing on some really childish points of view. What or how I choose to spend my money is my business and no one else's. So please keep your own morality to yourselves. How about coming together and actually trying to help for a greater cause?

One thing I’ve noticed for me personally is that the more I spend on an atty, the more I’m likely to persist until I get the best out of it. I know with an authentic device any fault in the vape is down to me. Whereas if it were a clone id probably be thinking it was a poor counterfeit and blame that before my building skills

I patched the eVic VTC Mini Firmware and inserted the Logo in exchange of the word "POWER". This means once you are in the Power mode the Logo is displayed instead of the word "Power".
The downside of this hack is, that it overwrites the display and it does not show the Wattage settings any more in "Power" mode"

There is a rule (13. b.) about off-topic discussion, but a huuuuge portion of this thread has been off-topic from the start. Matter of fact, the thread was started about a different topic (speculation of what the KF5 might be).

I joined this thread to learn more about the authentic Mini. Regardless of how I feel about clones (I have some), in this specific thread, I only want to talk authentic. Why is this so hard for some to understand? There is a clone thread already, and maybe there should be a clone/authentic Mini thread also so that everyone can join the discussion. But this is not what this thread is about.
