My financial situation is quite a bit worse then when I was smoking......i absolutely couldn't afford cigarettes now. My one and only expensive mod (ZNA50 clone....$120) I was able to get on payments from a local smoke shop that happens to carry a lot of vape gear, because I have spent a lot of time there teaching the shop owner about vaping, do builds for him etc..But he doesn't have these :/

((Hugs)) for you, and best wishes things improve soon.

Here's to hope :p

I'm tied down now, but will be looking for a new job before the years out. If any of my plans come to fruition, things will improve.

(should have stayed in the service instead of leaving after 8 years.....I'd be retired now with a decent monthly check from uncle Sam :p)

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

I just got my SX zero and have found some issues and was hoping to find some answers here. I received mine from FC right before the CNY. The problems are.. the sleeve is really loose so i had to bend inward A LOT, then the hex screws are uneven and bulge out, and the batteries are impossible to take out without adjusting the hex screws to loosen the body. Has anyone had similar issues? Did you fix them? or is this just me? Thanks in advance for any information.

Many of the sleeves need to be press fit in order to stay snug, this is not uncommon, although it really should only be for the extra sleeves sold separately, not the one that comes on the body with the device. My first SX Zero sleeve needed to be pressed more, the 2nd one I got arrived perfectly snug.

The battery slots are notoriously snug, as I found with with my very first one, as did many others. The slots did loosen up for me over time, but it was very difficult to get a battery in and out initially. Now I can just wiggle it a little and it comes out. I have never had to unloosen the hex screw to accomplish this though.

I have also read one or two reports on the the hex screws not arriving flush for some other people .. did you try removing the screws completely and then realigning the entire wood inner housing?

Update on the Wood SX Zero ... so I never received a reply about tracking, and I have no idea if the first shipped batch ever made it to the States. So it looks like we are at the worse case scenario, and will have to wait for CNY to be over to get our hands on them.

I would highly suggest keeping a close eye on FC's website when CNY is over as I expect these to go faster then they came :p

Ok, one of mine is perfect. Better than my first one. The other was so tight I couldn't put a battery in. I had to loosen the hex bolts so now, of course, its wobbly. Those of you who sanded the bolt heads, what did you use to do it? It might be easier to shorten them a tad.

That is how my #1 and 2 went .. my second one was better than the first especially on sleeve and body alignment. I didn't have any issues with the hex screws though, thankfully.

I have been meaning to post pics but the black sleeve is STUNNING IMO. The finish is so much nicer than the Yosen DNA sleeves. I did have to press fit it, but it looks gorgeous on the body so I am very happy with it. I sold my first one and also gave the SS cut out sleeve to the buyer.

I forget the two grits of paper I used (you'd have to go back and find it) but I grabbed towards the head with some pliers and just went one direction

then used a finer grit sand paper next to make it look nice

Errrr hello stranger  I was wondering where you have been, haven't seen you posting lately. :)

Received my Hotcig SS on Tuesday. Sleeve was a loose fit and needed to be squeezed. Bolt heads stick out beyond flush; haven't removed them or tried to tighten them up yet. Seems to me that the counter sinks were to shallow when manufactured. VTC4 battery fit easily with brass screw backed out. Need to decide between sanding the bolt heads or making the countersink deeper; sanding bolts would be easier. USB charging is working and light goes from red to green when fully charged. Going to probably wrap the sleeve with black 3M carbon fiber adhesive after some final squeezing. Took me several attempts of multiple clicks to figure out how to adjust the g-sensor. Fired 50 W right out of the box. Am pleased with this devise.

I tossed the coin on the Yosen SX and lost thats how I buy mods ;) After the DNA Zeros I had lost faith in Yosen and didnt really want a non self adjusting 510 it looks like its exactly the same 510 internally as there DNA Zero. I liked the detail of the top and battery caps and wasnt a real fan of the plastic shells so glad the coin toss said no;)

When do you expect the wood finish Zeros? They look nice It seems like everything has gone quiet in clone land due to the Goat ;) I even ordered a Vaporflask V3 40W TP from Focale on the 5th Feb and they didnt manage to ship it before the celebrations started Doris did get in touch but I have asked her to refund me, its not been good for me this year with Focale and I wasn't prepared to pay $60 for shipping and customs on top of the cost for a Yosen SX.

I have decided not to buy so much from China the restocking and shipping just becomes more painful as each month passes if Focale did get a VF V3 to me it would of been atleast 5 weeks from ordering which goes with the territory with China same story with Fasttech unless I can't get it, 30% more to buy locally I am prepared to pay.

Fortune may of shined on me I will find out this week and post info if my vape gear comes through. As Nikkika said the black sleeve for the Hotcig SX is nice ;) It finished off the SX350 modding nicely the only thing now is the damn clicky fire switch that may go next if I can remove the switch actuator sleeve.

Happy year of the goat to everyone!

My brother's gf broke her 4th mod in 2 months. Had to front her my sx zero clone so she could vape. She'll be missed indeed

Thats a nice mod to give away I could only wish of having something that nice when I started vaping in Oct 2013 I had a SVD not a good mod, switch died after 4 weeks. Hope she will take care of it! Still in my top 3 box mods I was itching to buy another after getting the 35W Hotcig SX from FT but it was a little steep @ paying 100% more to get it to the UK with shipping and customs.

ZeroOhm, where did you get that one?

I got it from a private UK seller off eBay here in the UK I have kind of given up with China now it was delivered in a couple of days freepost.

It was the same price as what it would cost me from Focale from the US to the UK and I didnt have to wait a month if I am lucky as a bonus I got a Vaporflask V3 40 TP to been almost a month I ordered one from Focale and still haven't shipped with pre ordering and CNY.

Its usually slow and expensive to get vapegear here but I am rethinking how I get mine now.

Did Nikkita get her wood SX? Is it the same clone maker?

You did a coin toss? I should try this method :p The Wood SX Zero is ready, but it didn't ship until the day before CNY so it is prolly still sitting at the DHL hub .. we should see them arrive next week.

The Black sleeve for the SX Zero is sooo mint, can't believe how much I love it, and it took me long enough to put it on. Its much nicer than Yosen's DNA Zero black sleeve IMO.

I have been focused on authentics lately, so I didn't really feel the pain of CNY very much :p
