Is the j-tank's (3 ml) diameter the same as the 3 ml liquinator one?

I havent held the empty tanks up to each other but they appear pretty similar, if they arent then the J-tank's diameter might be a tiny bit smaller. However the J-tanks tank is not as tall as the LQ's tank so it doesnt hold quite as much juice. Plus the J-tanks end caps are flush with the sides of the tank, they dont protrude outwards like the LQ tank does .. the J-tank is a little smaller than the LQ.

Still going strong after 2 days with the DC carto, original driptip and HG PG-based juice.. not even the slightest gurgle. The perfect vape, just as I was getting when I first started using it.

I have found that the duals will do that a lot, especially when you first fill your tank up. When you get the chance, try a Boge carto in your tank. I think you'll be very pleased with it then. Sorry you had to loose so much of your juice tho.

It's one of the big ole 8.5ml tanks....I don't know if a Boge is long enough!

I have found that the duals will do that a lot, especially when you first fill your tank up. When you get the chance, try a Boge carto in your tank. I think you'll be very pleased with it then. Sorry you had to loose so much of your juice tho.

Oops, didn't think about that..maybe try a XL carto of some type then...anything besides a dual. I love the dual coil cartos, but just don't think they do well in tanks. Of course I say that as I am using one in my tank right now, but it gurgles and leaks a little everytime I fill it for 5 minutes at least. I have to set it down and leave it alone for a short time after filling. Then it seems okay, but that is such a pain IMO.

I see they have aluminum tanks. After all the debate on safety of aluminum in direct
contact with juice, has anyone tried these?

Does anyone know if these are made out of some kind of "safe" aluminum?!

So nobody knows what o-ring sizes they use? Is anyone else having to use an extreme amount of force to get their carto's in the tanks?

I've mangled 6 o-rings now and am stuck with bits of o-ring floating around my tank and being pushed up into the tank and hanging outside the tank. It's ridiculous.

I am having the same issue. I have the 5.5ml phat tank. I can't even get the cartomizer to go through the hole anymore. I am using the cartomizers that I got from vaporescence. I'm not really happy with this. James is sending me replacement o-rings but I have no clue on how to insert them.

Here is a comparison of hairball between 3ml J-Tank, 3ml Liquinator, and the 5ml Cartomator.

I like the liquinator the best and so does my husband. Both of us like that the caps have a bigger lip on them...just wish they would tighten up the tanks some.

Look at the J-tank in the pic, I have 3 of them and none of the caps sit flush. I don't know why either other than it's possible that the tube isn't cut straight. None of them hold a true 3ml...more like 2.5ml. To me, it's their fast attempt to break into the market and it shows unfortunately. I wouldn't buy any more of them.

Nhaler's I can't complain about. I received one that the cap was really loose on. They are replacing the whole tank. Apparently, delrin shrinks in the hot weather we've been having. Cap sits pretty flush with the tubing..can only tell a difference if you run your finger over it.

Edit: I have one of MAP's new tanks on the way. Bruce at COV said the tanks fit really tight. That kinda scares me...I have bad hands and hated trying to get the CE2 out of the other tanks he builds.

Getting the o-rings in there isn't too hard, just work them slowly until they pop into the groove. I shouldn't have ordered more, James said he was going to send me some and asked for my address but then didn't because I ordered some.

In the meantime I've got one jumbo tank sitting here

I don't know what you can do about prepping the carto, but I believe Nhaler has Boge mega cartos
that are the same size as DC mega cartos. Maybe they will punch them for you.

FWIW I use the mega DC cartos and yes they will leak a little when you fill, but a light blow through the
mouth end and they stop. Worse case scenario you can order the poly tube for the Phat and that will take a reg length carto.
