Has anyone come to a conclusion as to whether slotting or punching makes a difference?

I have been slotting my cartos with no issues. Yesterday I purchased an awl like mentioned on some other thread and punched my first carto.

It would NOT wick at all with my 100% VG juice. I then proceeded to punch a second whole on the opposite side and it wicked really, really, really well, right through the bottom of the carto and on to my provari, my hands and everything else you could think of. I lost all the juice with in minutes.

I think I will stick with slotting with dremel.

Meh, still waiting on mine. I left them a note on their facebook page, but I think they deleted it...without even answering.

Hmmmmm...
We have the same/similar situation.
I left a note on their FB page, they answered, and they removed it the next day - Good thing I got a screenshot. Since then I decided to just sent them an email requesting for a tracking number - No reply yet after 3 days.
Now, after 10 days....Still waiting for the Liquinator to arrive :(

I got my cleaning kit from SmokTek yesterday used it on some of my old burnt tasting Boges and today they are like new. Wish I hadent tossed all those old ones.

Cartomizer/Attomizer Cleaning Kit - With 10ml Control Syringe, Luer-lock compatible w/cleaning tubes and instructions

I saw these and thought about it. Let us know how well it works. Personally, I've found cleaning cartos to not be worth the effort, but if this kit works I might have to give it a shot.

Have a preslotted dc in the liquinator that is flooding when the liquid gets to about a third empty..fill it back up.. blow it out and it works fine again til it gets low. Don't rememder if the first one did this but i think not. These were preslotted with only one slot. Could the slot be too big or to deep in the filling.. any ideas.

Is anyone else having problems with their inner o rings. I've only had my liquinator for about 2 weeks, but yesterday after filling my tank I shredded the inner o ring and now liquid is draining through the bottom. I know I can order another o ring set but I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue. It was difficult for me to put in my cartos when I first got it and I think the top and bottom edges of the carto shredded the o ring everytime I was refilling it or changing the flavor/carts out.

Can't you take an o ring out and match it up at the hardware store? They're probably a few cents a piece and some should be kept on hand. Should have some outer rings on hand as well. I don't see why they would be proprietary. I'd imagine they buy them by the thousands as opposed to having special ones made. Just a thought.

Thanks beezer. I was going to make a trip to my hardware store this afternoon. I love my liquinator....when it's working but when I'm flooding my carto it is quickly turns into the thing I hate the most. Hopefully the new o rings will resolve the issue. I was mainly curious if anyone else had this problem after a pretty short time using the liquinator.

As I posted, I recieved my liquinators yesterday, and I was very happy, to say the least. Perfect in every way, until...

Late yesterday I thought I had a tiny hair inside my tank. After I had vaped about 1/4 of the tank, I realized that the line was continuing to get longer, and I knew it was a crack. Bummer! :( So, I figured it was a fluke, and I filled another tank last night.

Now, I am only 1/2 way through my tank, and this one also is cracking. :(

I have followed the video exactly, no problems, same juice in both tanks. I am using a DIY banana made with 50pg/50vg nic base, Lorann's natural banana flavoring, TPA banana creme flavoring, and some Ez Sweetz sucrose for sweetness. I am really bummed right now, because they worked great. I thought this would be a safe juice, nothing sour or spicy about it. I'm calling Vaprescence today to ask a few questions. Although I vape lots of flavors, this has become my favorite juice. The 1st pic is yesterday's tank. The second pic is today's tank. Any idea what happened, other than the obvious, two tanks cracked...

To avoid damaging the o-rings in the future you might want to put a drop or two of juice on them before inserting the carto. Also, if you're cutting slots, rather than punching holes, you need to be very carefull because the slots create sharp edges. Hope this helps.

When I change my carto, I just slide the old one up and down, and then put the new one right below the old one and push upward, pushing the old one out the top, and placing the new one in the correct position. All lubed and ready to go.
