I also think aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder. I'd guess those not liking the looks of this tank are not MAP tank fans either. Various tanks and feed systems are going thru various stages of trial and error these days. While I am a dedicated dripper (change juices too often) I have become more curious about cartos and tanks. I do not like CE2s as I do not like having the coil so close to my mouth; so MAP tanks have been pretty much out of consideration for me. I think this is an affordable and creative possibility and just ordered one. I know die-hard GG AFS/AVS users that use hole-poked cartos (usually the 3.2 ohms kr808) and absolutely LUV the combination. This looks like a very cost effective version of that concept (minus collector tank and airflow adjustments of course).

Wylie, for your longer cartos, you might consider trying a #5 or #6 (not sure which will fit more snugly - prob 6) o-ring on carto tube rolled down to top of tank. Might help prevent the tank from riding up.

Looking forward to receiving and trying my new Tank-O-Matic Liquinator v4.1

hi brutus, let me know if this carto tank worth a try.

Will do Stu, I have a good feeling about this one. Like the MAP except I hated the CE2's no matter what, juice tasted like crap. I love Boge cartos so this is the perfect set-up. I'm thinking with the Dual Coils, this could be a great set-up for the GLV Super Mini I'm getting.

Thanks for the review and glad something came out for us regular carto users.

I tried and used the MAP and it worked but for me I just get more TH with the Boge and couldn't turn the volts up as high on the CE2's as I can with the Boge.

I went ahead and placed an order to try and have a few questions hopefully you or someone can answer:

What's the best way to remove the black cover on Boge cartos as well as removing the sticky glue material or can the actually be used on this? Just didn't know since you have to cut the slits and didn't know what would happen exposing juice to that black cover material?

I usually order my Boge cartos from Madvapes but they don't sell the steel ones, where is a good place to get these from if I want to cut them myself?

I read the answers above, so for now you just leave the slits exposed the whole time and haven't had any issues with leaks or flooding or juice in the mouth?

How long are the cartos seeming to last ya?

Thanks for any help and info.

Wylie, thanks for your reviews of this, gives me hope that I finally found a tank that will work as it should. Do you know if the cartos that come with it are Boges? And also do you know if the LR's are 2.0?

Per Vaporescence, they are Boge and the LRs are 2.0.

Great tip. Thanks!

You're welcome!

I remove the labels, wipe down with Goo Gone, and clean with Everclear.

I'm not sure. I've got a truckload of cartos from IKV I'll probably never make it through...

I only close the tank now if I remember, and only when I'm putting it away for the night. I did have a bit of flooding last night because I poured the juice directly into the tank hole and I think some got into the carto. It took about 4 or 5 minutes to vape it away. It still worked, but it gurgled like mad.

Most cartos seem to last me 1 to 2 weeks. I'm still using the originals now.

Thanks so much for the help Wylie, I really appreciate it and I'll check out IKV for steel Boge cartos.

Did you have any issues with metal shavings getting stuck in the filler material when you cut those slits on your own? I have a dremel but I am not very mechanically inclined.

Oops, I didn't mean to say IKV sells Boge cartos! I meant I have enough IKV cartos to last me a LONG time, so I don't know the best place to get the Boges....

On the shavings, I just blew them and then ran a magnet across the surface. I don't know if that got all metal dust, but oh well!
