I'm seriously considering buying one of these. The manual battery really appeals to me. Does anyone sell a starter set with 2 manual batteries, instead of one manual and one auto?

Keep an eye on smokesafe.com. My first Yeti(510) starter kit was ordered from him on the 30th of March and it had 2 atomizers, two manual batteries, two auto batteries, 1pck of cartridges, and charger for 69.95. I went to order a 2nd starter kit Thursday and they were 49.95 but only two manual batteries, 2 atomizers etc, no auto batteries. I emailed and he said to watch he would probably put the 1st kit on sale again at some point.

He is great to do business with, extremely fast shipping, and good product.:)

I just got my new Joye 510 (manual battery) and all I can say is "wow". I started vaping around a month ago with an Intellicig EVO which I thought was great, but the 510 blows it away. I plan on posting some sort of review (maybe video) comparing the two as soon as I have time and play with my Joye 510 a little more. No cons on the 510 yet - this thing is a vaping beast!!

Hi Tenfour, I have almost gone the other way, started with the Titan 510 but was getting a bit worried about the time the carts lasted and the batteries so purcheased the Evolution (initially as a backup) but in some cases prefer that to the 510... not as good with the vapour and throat hit... but less worrying when you go out and the battery is gonna die or the carts gonna run out...

But non the less.... still a bit of a beast when its working well :p

I went on a beach trip this weekend and on the way down I realized I had left my 501 charger at home... crap:shock:. I had my m401 EVO with me so I figured it would be a great time for it to step up to the plate and show me that it still had what it takes to be a contender for my main vaping device. Well, unfortunately, the EVO just doesn't cut it anymore. I found myself frustrated with the auto batteries, lack of throat hit, and being penalized for taking a five second drag with a two minute cutoff. Needless to say I'm very happy to be back home with my Joye 510 - burning the hell out of my throat and lungs, making me cough with vapor overload, and blocking out my laptop screen with clouds of vapor. :D:D The 510 is KING!

Yay my Dura c arrived this morning:D I can't wait to try it, in the box it said the initial charge should be 8 hours but i'm sure i've read on here to charge for 12 which is best?

When that LED turns green it's ready! After that LED turns green, the charger is no longer applying a charge to the battery as it is fully charged.

The 510 (along with most other e-cigs) use a Li-ion battery that does NOT need a "conditioning cycle".

I've been using the 510 for 10 days now, no complaints. Battery life is good, I typically get 6-8 hours(manuals, I don't use the auto much). This is with moderate use, a few good puffs an hour. Atomizers solid so far, no failures. I keep two in my daily rotation. I have some black build up forming on on sides of one, the other is still like new. First atomizer cleaning attempt tonight. I get the best results by topping off my cart before each use, usually 2-3 drops. Big hitter, the 510. Analog free for 7 days now and my confidence and resolve to become tobacco free is building. I've ordered some lower strength juice and will try to step down the nic as my next step. Yessiree, the 510 rocks!

I am yet another person who agrees, the 510 rocks! I got the Dura-C from Janty, received it last Friday. Shipping time was great, a total of 3 days from ordering to receiving! And I have an order for juice from Johnson's creek that I placed on the 21st, still haven't seen it yet. And I ordered from Juicyliquid, and that shipped on Monday, hopefully I'll get that tomorrow because I'm running low on juice!

The Dura-C is very reliable! Constant throat hits, If I'm not getting a throat hit, the battery is too low or the atomizer is flooded. If this happens, I blow the atomizer out, drip one drop on the atomizer, top off the cart, I find these carts work best if you push in the filling just slightly, that way it doesn't stick to the atomizer mesh and pull out the filling when you remove the cart. Then I put the cart in, let it sit for a minute so the atomizer soaks up a little juice, and bam, wonderful throat hit! Even when I'm not constantly topping off, I can puff non-stop on a 30 minute drive without doing any topping and still get good hits, these carts hold a lot of juice!

If after blowing out the atomizer, and throat hits are still weak, means the battery is low, no problem. I ordered a second kit, so I have 4 batteries but I carry around 3. I just take that battery and switch it with a freshly charged one in the PCC, yes, I'm using the new short manuals. The PCC is great, always have a freshly charged batt!

I carry around 3 batteries, I have a case I bought for my 901, but the 510 fits in the case perfectly, in the Case I carry two batts, backup atomizer, 1 cart. Then in my PCC, I care the third batt, two carts and my main atomizer. I feel like my 510 is well protected, and it's great when I'm out and about and someone wants to try, and I just put a second e-cig together, and tell them to vape it for a bit. I've convinced 3 people to buy one today just by doing that. I really wish I sold these, I'd sell a lot!

I get about a 1 hour of battery life while constantly vaping like a pacifier. If I'm doing it smoke break style like an analoguer would do, with a 15 minute vape sess an hour, it lasts about 4 hours.

I have two other e-cigs, a DSE901, and The Great White. Both are getting no usage thanks to the Dura-C, and I'm considering giving the 901 to a friend. I was a pack a day smoker for 6 years, and once I started Vaping, I cut down to one or two analogues, but since I got the Dura-C, I've been completely analogue free! I considered bumming a drag from an analogue today, but after smelling it, I decided that was gross.

Rock on 510! You're the best e-cig around. Now I need to try the Screwdriver and the Vaporking to compare. But right now, all my money is going towards juice.

Congrats! :w00t:

That's the kind of stuff I like to hear. If i had the money to put up a billboard about e-cigs, I would. How many lives have been changed by people leaving analogs and switching to e-cigs? I tell everyone I know about them and so far, at least a dozen people have "converted" to the digital smoking age because I've shared the good news about e-cigs with them. Hallelujah!

Don't forget Anonomo, you can always cut your liquids with some 100% Vegetable Glycerin USP (found at health food stores or in the cake supply sections of Michael's) to cut the liquid and lower the nicotine content. Most liquids lose a bit of their taste when this is done though. I cut all my liquids by about half and still get great results even with the muted taste and tons more vapor.

Just an FYI. The Vapor King has a good battery and cartridge life, but it doesn't compare to the 501 when it come to a real throat hit and a close to analog smoking experience. It does serve a purpose however, and I use my VK daily. But when I'm at home and can easily switch batteries and add juice, the 501 is the only thing I use!

Thanks for the encouragement bizzy..... I may try to experiment with cutting the liquid soon. I asked my wife to pick up some Wilton(?)brand VG from Micheals, she said she noticed it in the cake icing department. My smoking friends are intrigued but right now I'm just the .... of their jokes....good thing I have thick skin. To get back on topic, did I mention the 510 rocks!
