I think you'll need a tobacco license to buy nicotine after these regulations pass. It cannot be considered a controlled substance or the FDA would have tried to go the route of medicine instead of tobacco. Remember back with the previous FDA scare they were told by the courts to regulate it as tobacco that it wasn't medicine?
I think the price of liquid nicotine will be taxed per mg too. It will be so expensive that only larger companies like BT will be able to afford it or get the proper license to distribute it to consumers.

There has never been a war on any STUFF, just a few Skirmishes to Promote public Awareness and Manage the (Anti) Extremest that could cause issues in elections.
Eurotrash alert!, Over here one can purchase any hardware for {other stuff} they wish, with ease, word games win, hopefully for most vaping e-juice hardware also.
As for Nic, no idea really, scary to hear BT are buying up manufactures, Nic is already banned in Belgium, Switzerland (BT land), Portugal etc., but still ppl vape with nic (I don't)...
A lot will depend on how the police enforce the law also, in PT I know its sold under the counter in vape shops, I wonder if that would apply to the US also!?

Those two lines are in Direct opposition
To force a License is to Control a substance. It is not a requirement the substance be Medicine. i.e. Freon R-12 Restricted to Licensed Technicians.

Yes, but the phrase controlled substance implies drugs regulated under the Controlled Substances Act. In the broader sense, of course licensing is control.
Bottom line, we're screwed.

Vaping with electronic devices, whatever they may be, will be continued to be tolerated.
You just might need to go to a "smoke shop" to get your gear.
I find that I often already do that.

The problem is how much nic is transferred to the liquid from the tobacco. If I'm not mistaken I think it's negligible to almost none.

but nicotine is a medicine... it helps cure 1 thing but has 50+ side effects and then we will see loads of TV commercials with laywers wanting to help you collect money for all the side effects
I still find all this smoke and mirrors / cloak and dagger Government haze crap funny. They get their sheeple to spout lies and half truths, they always cry "for the kids" and then their private advocate army just keep repeating 2-3 line phrases of nonsense on all types of social media forums. And then a scientist, a vaper or someone even remotely educated on the subject replies to them with links, proof, studies from prominent labs and the counter is always a few word counter response "They are lying" or "It is dangerous". I can't believe people WANT to be lead around so easily. Take away THEIR freedoms, not everyone elses.
And secondly. Whipcream Vodka? Marhmallow Vodka, Pumpkin Spice beer..( You get the point ) Those are marketed towards kids, but since someone is already racking in the cash you sure don't hear peep about that.
And on that Malaysia thing. They are pulling raids because "vaping is bad for your health"? Why don't they ban cigarettes then? I'm so sick and tired of this super hard core crack down on Vape stuff, when the studies for Tobacco smoking are already in place and the verdict IS IN. TOBACCO SMOKING KILLS YOU.. Yet, raid the vape shops... And leave Tobacco on the shelf. What the ever loving hell is going on in this world.... I'm sick in my guts with aggravation right now...

If the government bans Ejuice, I'll just have to take up another hobby.. like candy making various flavors from Loranns, making my own essential oils using VG and PG, and organic gardening using pure nicotine as a pesticide...... hope those never get mixed together.

Vapers are sitting here in AR only allowed by law to purchase eliquid, via face-to-face transaction with B&Ms who have tobacco licenses.
Basically I will say that once those kind of regs hit where you are, you best have some arrangements with personal friends in other states or have already committed to DIY.
Unfortunately, eliquid vendors and major sales outlets are somewhat few and far between in rural and less densely populated states, and I suppose many vapers who live in rural areas across the US would have to drive long distances to reach a vape store or outlet if this happened where they live. Places like Montana, Dakotas, Idaho, Kansas, AR, etc.
I can assure you that there was no underground railroad "activism" going on, by the greater vaping community, toward vapers in AR --- as a matter of fact, within a few hours and days, many vendors already had notices up on their sites saying they would not ship to AR (so long, farewell, and any reward points you had built up for YEARS were also now forfeited)
But what could they do? They can't break the law.
(I think one person did enter the topic at the time to offer to help people who might be adversely affected until they got a solution together. I thought that was pretty durn nice of them to offer and will always remember that person.
)I dont imagine any eliquid companies were adversely financially affected by losing their AR clientelle. Perhaps it would be different if it happened in big population states like CA, TX, NY and PA, etc. but B&Ms are probably on every corner in places like that.
The law did not affect hardware, flavorings, DIY etc. I never got around to asking about nicotine, since I vape pretty much vape 0% now. I am sort of curious about that though. I will ask some of the places like Wizard, Vaper Tek, etc.
