No, on the screen. I know the little battery symbol looks like a plug when it needs charging, but what does it look like when it's plugged in to charge?
I never plugged mine in when it was connected to my Disrupter, but I just tried it and the battery symbol on the Disrupter screen didn't do anything.

What do you guys think of the Apex packaging? Colors, design, layout, etc. Any feedback is much appreciated!
It's nice :) I liked the metal box that my VTR and 134 came in, but I'm sure that metal box made it cost more.
So I think I would rather have a nice box like the Apex if it keeps the cost down :)

It doesn't, when the battery is low the device shuts off. The only way to get it back on is to click 3 times after the cell has charged enough to allow it to.
OK, thanks, guys. On the screen, I know that there's a low power level indicator (the battery bars turn into a little plug), but couldn't remember if it turned into a lightning bolt or something when it's plugged in. Was just gathering info for when I test my nephew's cable, to see if I need a new cable or a new iCell.

Oh, well... back to mechs.

I found it a step up from the iSub packaging only for the fact it appears less generic. There is something about earth colored material that exudes "environment" to me. This is not a area where organic or environmental packaging needs to play a role. Not that it is the intent but just the same, it is how I perceive it.

Silver on black adds a touch of sophistication to the packaging and I like that. The interior is no different to the iSub other than color but color aside, I like the foam molding as is.

The continued use of the sticker on the flaps is a wonderful, cost effective tamper resistant idea, continue with it!

And lastly....if you wish to hear even better comments, just ship all your products free of charge to my home address!

I just tried it again and I don't get a lighten bolt or any change at all in it. Does the light on the cell turn on when you plug it in?

The red light is on when I push the button, but it doesn't seem to be accepting a charge. I'm hoping I broke the cable (been using it as a passthrough) and not the micro plug on the iCell. thx

I mean the light on the Battery right above where you plug it in, does that come on when you plug it in?

There is one way to rule out the cable. Use another micro USB cable and plug it in, At first you should see a red light for a few minutes, then change to yellow for sometime....if you can't get it to that stage the cable is the issue, however, if you still have a red light after....say 30 minutes, you have a bad cell.

Yeah, I was just hoping there'd be a quicker way to test it, as these guys don't like to lend their electronic stuff out.
Does the light stay on the whole time it's charging?

That's what I was talking about. It doesn't come on when I plug the battery in, only when I push the button.
It's the when you push the button it comes on is what is confusing me
I know my button lights up when I press the button, but I don't remember the light on the battery lighten up when I press my button.
I'm sure I will drain my battery tonight  I will see once the battery is dead if the light on the battery lights up when I press the button and the battery is dead.

Try taking the Battery off, and plug it in disconnected from the Disrupter and see if that works.

At the very least it could be a malfunctioning light. Do this...plug it in for 2 hours, forget about the lights then remove it, put it on the device and see what the battery level indicator reads. If no response or level, you have a bad cell.....provided the cable is good.
Nope, it's not taking a charge at all. I think it's either the cable (I'm hoping), or the micro USB jack on the battery. I've been using it as a passthrough, and now I remember why I never do that anymore.
Yes whether red, yellow or green and until the light goes out it is under charge.
Thanks, that would help. If the light comes on when I get the good cable, I'll know that my cable was bad. :)

Poor Fringe... The light doesn't come on UNLESS I push the button. When I plug it in, nothing happens - no light, no charge, no joy.

If you need another USB cable let me know, I have several now!
Thanks.

    Somewhere between here and there
I don't know that it would matter but maybe try taking the battery off and then put it back on to make sure you're getting a good connection. I would think that the light on the battery would come on anyway if it was charging. Perhaps the battery is charged but not making good connection on the disrupter pins.

Well at least in the worst case scenario, you would only need to replace the Innocell. You wouldn't need to replace the entire unit.
