OK, so the USB cable should be fine, though? I just need to get a 1 amp wall adapter for it? I have two wall adapters now, both .5 amp output, that came with the EVOD set and the X-6. I know charging slower is better on the battery, but 1 amp wouldn't be too much, I'm sure. (I'm going off information Rich has told me about charging car batteries here, so it might not even be applicable.) Anyway, if a 1 amp would work better, I'll put that on my list of stuff to get.

Cable is fine. You can go higher on the amps without screwing up the battery - it has an internal limiter that will only allow it to take in what it needs. Just get a good one, not a cheapo generic one from eBay China (haha like the ones shaped like pandas  ). And try to get a "smart" one, that'll have protections and politely turn off the juice when it's done.

Since you have two, try the other one next time - they vary in quality - maybe the other one will work better. Do you have one for a cell phone?

hahaha I'm getting these threads mixed up.  :p

No cell phones, no smart phones, no iPads, no nuthin' out here. ;)

I just asked Rich about this and he HAS a 1 amp wall adapter that came with his iStick 30, so obviously they make them. I tried an internet search for a 1 amp wall adapter and came up with a bunch of electronics stuff I don't understand, so I got Rich and asked him. I even went to Innokin's site and they have one, but it doesn't say what the output is. Could be 1 amp, could be .5 amp. Could be lunchmeat... could be peaches... (quick! what movie?) LOL!

Anyway... I have the USB cable that goes with the Disrupter, so if I plug that into Rich's 1 amp adapter, it should charge fully, and a bit quicker, then, am I right? He only charges his iStick every other day, so if I can get on alternate days with him, we could work this out! ;)

With a 1 amp charger, it should charge up in roughly half the time. So it should work fine with the iStick 30 charger, which is a 1 amp charger.

I purchased one of these.

Amazon.com: LevinTM 4 Outlet Home/Office Smart Charger 4 AC Plugs and 4 USB Charger Ports Power Adapter 1250W 100-250V 1700 Joule Power Strip Dual Universal USB ports for 5V 1A and Dual Super USB ports for 5V 2.4A output for iPhone 6 / 6 Plus / 5S / 5, iPad Air / Mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 / Note 3 / Note 2 / S5 / S4 / S3 and other Smartphone and Tablet, 5 Feet(1.5Meters) Black Cord (Black): Electronics

I use it as the power strip for my laptop docking station and my computer monitor. It also has two 1 amp USB ports and two 2.4 amp USB ports that I use to recharge my tablet, phone, and rDNA40 and evic-VT. Theoretically I can recharge my mods using the 2.4 amp port and the device will automatically limit the charging current to 1 amp, but I have enough ports that I only use the 1 amp.

Thanks, Panorama, and that prolly wasn't even hard for you to find, was it? I told you guys, I'm Googly-challenged. I wasn't kidding, not even a little bit! I've bookmarked that, so next time we order stuff, I'll get one for me. Rich said I can use his in the meantime, so I'm good. :D

I have one of those, too, and they're great - especially when you have more than 1 mod you need to charge up.

That looks EXACTLY like "the thing I was wishing somebody would invent" so I could have one spot to do my charging and not have each one in a different outlet plug! LOL! So the Disrupter has a current limiter in it, but what about my little babies (the EVODs)? Would I blow them up if I tried to charge them on that? It would be SO nice if I could just have one spot to do all my charging. This house is small enough without having stuff hanging out of every plug in the kitchen.

Way back when I had to maintain and carry FIVE cigalikes every day, I used one of these:

Digital Innovations 7-port hub, 2.5A AC Adapter

Hmmm...looks like I'm gonna have to go find it again...

@Lannie --------hi Lannie------I have bought a 1 amp wall cube thing at a local drugstore and so if you wanted it today............

LOL! We don't have a "local" anything, especially not a drugstore. It's a good idea, though! Maybe next time we make a trip "to town" (it really is 100 miles from us) to go shopping, we can look for one, if we don't order online first. Thanks for the tip!

I would recommend using only 1 amp chargers (and cords). While the Disrupter has a limiter (and some of the USB chargers have "intelligence"), it only takes one failure to, at best, ruin a battery. I tend to opt for safety over convenience when I can.

Thanks, Count, but don't worry. Rich is doing the research on this, I'm just asking the noob questions. Rich knows about this stuff. He tries to 'splain it to me, but electronics stuff just sails on past over my head most of the time. ;)

And now, @USMCotaku here's the picture to prove it really happened :D

I took a family portrait also, including your shiny, but I won't post it here in the Disrupter thread. I'll go post it in the family thread. :)
