Welp. My first DIY sesh was a complete bust. Everything was vapeable but. Yeah.

Grape only. 15%. Tastes funny.

Ry4 double at 15% was pretty good.

My strawberry cheesecake at
- 8% bav cream
- 5% cheesecake
- 2% vanilla
- 8% ripe strawberry

Weak strawberry and strong cheesecake. Hmm.

Gonna have to rework this big time

You bet. I use all of the different vanillas and creams that TFA offers in various recipes. Want sweet vanilla, use vanilla swirl. Want creamy, try Bavarian cream, want ice cream or French vanilla, use one of the several different ones. They're all good, imo. I also use both sweetener and cotton candy in my recipes. I have a sweet tooth. Good luck.

Here is what will be put into production Sunday
pumpkin spice 6%
Whip cream 2%
Sweet Cream 2%
Vanilla Bean Gelato 2%
Graham Cracker 2%
Cinnamon Danish 1%

Sounds like a good start. Depends on where the sweet spot is for you on the pumpkin spice, then adding the creams to taste, but the flavors will, in the right percentages, produce and excellent juice. I personally would be looking at a 30% flavor mix with all of these, but that's all personal taste and flavoring. With all of these creams, you really can't over flavor at 30%, and won't get a chemical, spicy or floral result. Creams are one of several secret ingredients that allow us to go with higher percentage mixes. But flavor is subjective, and this looks like a great place to start, imho. Also, consider either sweetener or cotton candy. They also add a lot. Good luck!

Grape is tricky. I have made some great juice with Grape and sweet and sour, also with bubblegum, and with both. Using both produced a great very vapeable juice that is a family favorite for my daughter.

The strawberry cheesecake might work better with the sweeter strawberry at a higher percentage. The ripe strawberry gives you more of the rind taste, rather than a sweet complement to the cheesecake, like a strawberry syrup would. Also, some sweetener or cotton candy will improve the taste for me. When I make this recipe I use 12% strawberry, 10% creams/cheesecake, 3% honey, 2% sweetener, and sometimes 3% hazelnut (with strawberries and cream). For cheesecake I would substitute the hazelnut for 3% graham cracker. The Cheesecake and graham cracker TFA flavor does this too, and I use that one for cheesecake, myself.

As always, flavor is subjective, so what I might like, others may be over or underwhelmed. Flavor to taste, but you have great ingredients in your mix,. Good luck!

Ive got 360ml of juice all awaiting their 15% flavoring to give me a final juice of 60/40 at 6mg. I was going to break it down into 50ml bottles
7.5ml flavor
42.5ml base

I cant even begin to wrap my mind around what I would need to do to my base if I wanted to use 15ml flavor and keep the bottle 6mg

15% flavoring with 6mg/ml nic? What size bottle do you want to make? 60/40 VG/PG or PG/VG?

Hmm. I might have to abandon my quest for the simple grape juice it seems.

Thanks for your input and I'll try em out in my next mix!

15% flavoring with 6mg/ml nic? What size bottle do you want to make? 60/40 VG/PG or PG/VG?

Ive got 306ml of nic, vg and pg in a bottle. If I add 54ml of pg based flavor ill have 360ml of 60pg/40vg 6mg juice. Basically I whipped up a ton of juice thinking id make every bottle at 15% flavor. So if I had a 50ml bottle id put in 42.5 of my base and 7.5 of flavor. I guess what am saying is, if i decided i wanted 30% flavor in a 50ml bottle id need 35ml my base and 15ml flavor. Then my ratio and strength would be off.

Ok, I get that now. Interesting. I do it exactly the opposite. I make bases of flavoring at 30% (PG) and then add my diluting agents and nic. As long as the mix has at least 30% PG I can pretty much make any strength at any ratio (with at least 30% PG). I don't have a single recipe with less than 20% flavoring, so this would not work so good for me, but I used to have some recipes that only used 15% flavoring, and some single flavor juices might work. My predominant mix flavors are almost always at or less than 15% (but then I add all sorts of enhancements and end up at 20 - 30%).

You have a lot of flexibility if you have nic, PG and VG to add to your base. You could do a lot with additional diluting agents and nic, and the eJuice Me Up Calculator provides for multiple nic base mixes, and I've used them when I used to buy 50/50 Nic. Good luck to you.

If it's the plain TFA Cheesecake, I found it to be just nasty IMO.
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust is way better, and prefer it at less than 4%, as it can be overpowering.
Most of the Strawberries are Yuk to me, but YMMV.

Also beware of TFA Ripe Banana cause it will eat the rubber on your syringes, and it's also quite strong.

It will not only eat the rubber, but it will eat it instantly. So will TFA pineapple. Repeat, do NOT use syringes to measure these two(and probably others) flavors. That rubber will end up in your mix.

I started using glass droppers all together to measure flavors after using those two.

Thought I'd share a pretty good recipe. I call this Monkey Business:

Bananas Foster - 12%
Cinnamon Danish - 6%
Vanilla Swirl - 4%
Jamaican Rum - 5%
Brown Sugar - 3%

I make this 30/70 PG/VG using 6% PG Nic and 64% VG added to 30% PG flavoring above. This is a good Bananas Foster recipe...Monkey Business, a family favorite. Very flavorful and not overwhelming. If you like this more as a creamy banana reduce rum and brown sugar and add caramel and butter. Both are very good. Enjoy!

I have heard several people say this flavor is very good, and that it is strong, but i didn't have that,i made a mix of it as a single flavor starting at 5% and worked up to 10%,and could barely taste it at all, especially at 5%,after trying it the first time,i thought maybe it needed to steep, and even after a month barely any taste at all,and what i could taste was nothing like a cheesecake,i cant explain it,but definitely not any cheesecake i have ever tried, which sucks because i really want a good cheesecake flavor.I bought the loranns new york cheesecake first and it was foul haha.

I second Heabob's TFA Cheesecake with Graham Cracker. The original cheesecake is more like a cream, and a bit plain, particularly without sweetener, Graham cracker, butter added to it as enhancements. Not a standalone flavor, but then again, very few TFA flavors make good stand alone flavors imho. Seems like the regular cheesecake is similar to the many TFA vanillas, more nuanced additions to other predominant flavors, rather than a fully formed juice flavoring. Two cents.

It's different mostly because TFA removed the custard notes from their TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust.

CAP NY Cheesecake is stronger, but, it still has the custard notes.

Similar to VZ Vanilla Sponge Cake and FA Pandoro.

None of them taste like a real cheesecake tho.
