Well... TFA Tobacco Flavor isn't the right tobacco - at least today. I'll let it sit overnight and try it again tomorrow. Point being the tobacco definitely did something, I'm just not sure I like what it did. The juice is still rich and not overly sweet to me. I taste a nice, not overpowering caramel...
Something that occurred to me is this. Sometimes coffee will smell like cigarettes to me. What about a drop or two of coffee? I have TFA Coffee Clear, but I was thinking about TFA Coffee Flavor.
I also think I might order some sesame seed from TFA. Can't think of the proper title right now. Sesame seeds definitely remind me of smoke.

Experimenting like you are with coffee sounds great. You may discover something great, or be able to rule out a flavor pairing. Either way, you WIN! Some of the best flavorings come from unlikely combinations. These are sometimes called pairings, and it can get weird sometimes.
