I could be wrong, but lemon-lime has some natural flavor in it,which is the oil from the fruit,so that is probably what is causing the cloudiness,as sometimes those oils wont completely mix with pg or vg,so when shaken up,it is just trying to mix together.Like i said,i could be completely wrong, but that's what i think may be happening, although that flavor is listed as a tank cracker too,so it could be the same issue mentioned a few pages back about melting some of the plastic, either in the syringe or in the bottle.

Yes, same issue, my friend. :toast:

It only takes a few seconds for the interaction to occur, which is what throws us off the trail. How could it react that quickly? Can't explain the how or why, but that is what happens, I do know that. :2c: :D

One point that we need to stress over and over. Don't store eliquids in plastic containers. Eventually, our juice will leach into all known plastics, as far as I am aware of. Use only glass to store your juice in. I know it's expensive, but they are re-usable which will make them less expensive over time, just more upfront. Also, darker glass is better than clear glass. The amber glass boston rounds are competitively priced and less than the cobalt blue bottles, and do a good job of keeping the light off our juice, which will degrade in both light and heat. Store bottles in a cool dark cabinet in the dark bottles and they will last over a year, at least. If you can find the cobalt blue at a good deal, I think they are probably the best for our purposes. In the larger sizes, I've seen the cobalt blue ones at really attractive pricing (60 and 120 ml's). Good luck all, and Happy Holidays! :toast: :D

I would like to get back to TFA flavorings and recipes, but I need to share my new vaporizer:

I have three variable wattage devices and this just became my favorite in the last five minutes. Menu is different, but the manual is actually really good, and this thing rocks. 5.5 amps, .7 ohms, 6 volts, 20 watts, pretty much perfect for my normal vaping with my Taifun GT's. New GT II is now out this week. Will check that out soon too, but I have a few GT's, so it'll be a while before I can build up my gear again. Anyway, that's all for now. :toast: :D

:2cool: :vapor:
I'm Glad you finally picked one up! They are pretty nice vapes!!!:vapor:
How do you feel about the Taifun GT II's? I'm still vaping and loving my TGTs but the adjustable air flow looks cool!
I'm about ready to try your Peach Cobbler. Mixed up 10mgs the other day. Just waiting for the P Danish to get low enough!
Enjoy your Christmas!!! And Happy Holidays to all!!!!
Vape on.:toast:

I don't have the GT2 yet...and probably won't for a while. Right after my new LN Jack and Jointer Planes (I'm updating the shop). So, priorities. I guess I could sell a couple of used ones and get one. I have eleven GT1's. Wonder what the market is for a used clone? Maybe $10 after shipping, LOL?

Yes, the Cobbler is Jo's ADV. I'll be making a batch today myself. Danish is good too, though. Cobbler is better she tells me.

Yes, Love the P3. Took all of 5 minutes to become my new favorite. Menu took that entire 5 minutes to figure out. I don't care for manuals, but I did have to use their's, to use the P3. Easy learning curve, just different. My next APV will be a P3 for Jo, then a backup P3 for me, then sell old 2.5's and buy another P3 for me/Jo. I like them and have used Provari's for a couple of years. Sent one back for repairs. Quick, easy and inexpensive process. What can I say, I like 'em. Hard to beat reliability and quality. I don't vape often over 11 watts or so, so the P3 will do about double that, so it works great for my vaping, YMMV. :D

Hi folks, I have been searching for a mixed berry recipe to diy. Does anybody have a great sweet one that I can try. I only want to use tfa flavours. You advice and assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Actually quite a few out there. I've made this one with TFA flavors:

Very Berry

Blueberrry - 7%
Strawberry - 6%
Raspberry - 5%
Cranberry - 4%
Sweet Cream - 3%
Sweetener - 5%

Sweet berry goodness....promise. I like it with some vanilla Swirl added to it. Reduce Sweetener to maybe 3% and add 3% vanilla swirl and reduce sweet cream to 2%. Both very good. Good luck!

^ I'd skip the raspberry unless you're talking about sweet raspberry. I got a strong acetone flavor/smell from the regular TFA raspberry even when mixed at a low percentage. I'd probably skip the sweet cream too. I got a nasty sour milk smell/taste from that one. Maybe the batches I was sent had turned or were from the bottom of the barrel where settling had occurred? Has anyone else had a similar experience with these flavors?

Careful now....mixes don't act like single flavorings, and that's why they are hard to make. Adding vanilla, cream and sweetener to almost anything makes it taste great. They key is the right percentages at 6% or less of these flavorings. What recipes did you have problems with, maybe we can help? :toast:

Was thinking of raspberry, strawberry and black and blueberry. I am open to suggestions as I am new to diy. I plan on a 60/40 pg/vg mix all pg flavours.

Substitute blackberry for cranberry and make either version (with or without vanilla). Should do you just fine as all your other ingredients are already in that recipe. Good luck! Oh, and read my blogs. I've done this before...:D

I get the same thing from Sweet Cream if I use anything more than 1% I am very picky about my creams specifically. The best I've found are from Flavour Art. (Fresh Cream and Vienna Cream)

Whenever I receive a flavor I mix it alone to see what percentage it is good at and to gauge the strength. I tried raspberry at 1-7% and every time I got a straight nail polish remover smell. Since I never got it to work on its own I never bothered to create a recipe with it. Open the flavor bottle and smell it. Does it smell like nail polish remover to you?
