Since BT is more interested in making money, they're more likely to get into e-cigs like Blu/NJOY, as those will offer the highest profit margin(yes, I know BT already owns Blu)
They're easy, they're simple, people can vape away and toss it when done, and I'm sure a lot of people are going to focus on Blu/NJOY because of that ease of use. You can open the box, grab the cigalike and start vaping. No charging, no figuring out the best carto/clearo/tank, no tinkering/assembly, just grab and vape.
Cigalikes are not going anywhere and I'm betting they'll grow in popularity and variety in the coming decade
As for bigger e-cigs(eGo, Provari, etc), unless the government says "No, eff you, stick with what BT puts out or nothing", they're not going anywhere, and even if the govnerment does start to crack down, it probably won't stop much, if anything.
About the only thing us vapers will decide upon is whether or not vaping will continue to exist.
Look at cars. Some buy MiniCoopers, others buy Hummers. Some fix their cars themselves, others drop it off at the mechanic. We can't even decide on how our cars are powered(gas, diesel, gas-elec hybrid, diesel-elec hybrid, pure electric)
