I got the DjSam Soe, which I think is the same (or similar) to what you're describing. It's a clove cig... and I don't think I like it. I got it on a whim because I wanted to try something different. Have no idea why I got it because I don't care for clove. Lol. Then again, I don't like black licorice but absinthe flavor can be good if done correctly

I have been buying all of my Hangsen extracts from RTS. I see most of you are mixing at pretty low percentages. It seems that I need to use anywhere from 10 - 14% in order to get any real flavor from the Hangsen. I thought it was just me, but even many people I know said that the flavor was hard to taste anywhere below 10%. Has anyone else experienced this from the Hangsen concentrates from RTS? Has anyone compared the stuff from RTS to ECX or VZ? Could they be watering it down? BTW I am talking about the tobaccos. USA mix, Desert Ship, Red USA Mix, etc...

I asked the same question Eddie.... I don't think anyone has flavors from different suppliers to compare. I got mine from VZ and ECX. The RY1 I got from VZ, I still haven't found a good percentage for. People were recommending 3% to 5%... but both were barely discernible to me even dripping direct on an atty... SO my latest batch was 7%... It's steeping right now in an unknown location. Cigar I got from VZ is also on the milder side so I don't know if it's just us... or they're not as strong. I'm going to be buying some premade liquids direct from Hangsen to compare.

Great! Be sure and keep us posted on that. I remember reading some good reviews on the hangsen juices several months back but it'll be so much better to get a side by side comparison of them.

I have the ry1, ry4 and tab from RTS. I think they're the real deal as far as that, but I am having my troubles trying to get a good mix. My first mix was what I thought was about 5 percent but was probably more like 6 percent. It was good vaped fresh but developed an off taste after just a day or so of sitting open. I took it down to 3.3 percent and I thought that was going to be ok, so I sat it aside to steep, but now it's way to weak to suit me. I'll think I'll mix some at 8% like FranC does and see how that goes.

I mix most of my Hangsen at 8%.

I'm going to have to try that. I'd swore up and down I wasn't mixing anything more until I got a lot of my mixes vaped up, but I'm going to mix 10 ml of the ry4 at 8% and toss it aside to steep. Hey, I'll still have less that 200 ml total. That's not too bad lol. :vapor:

What steeping time do you recommend. I just toss it in a drawer, no baths or anything.

I am in the crowd of folks who likes my Hangsen mixes in the 7-8%, some like butterscotch 10%

I tried the one drop per ml and I was steeping for a week and was not getting the flavor I needed,

I have purchased my concentrates from VZ,ECX, and RTS

dont get me wrong- once I hit my magic % I think that Hangsen has the best flavors out there and you dont need to add additives like vape wizard or EM

Going to mix up some hangsen juicy peach today

I'm looking for some recommendations on what percent to use. These are the flavors I'm thinking of using

Hangsen Juicy peach 5%
Hangsen Vanilla 2%

Can't decide between

TFA's Sweet cream % ??
or
VZ's cream super concentrat % ??

Also have some TFA marshmello, Deluce de leache as well as the usual EM and sacarlos sweetener. And a mess of other flavors to numerious to mention.

If it was me I would mix

HS Juicy Peach 5%
VZ Cream 1%

try it and see if it needs anything else. :2c:

I have AP and several floral flavors of TFA coming- my mind is brewing to see how these would accent great Hangsen tobaccos like RY1, RY2, Highway, and Desert Ship..............

think about it, RY1 with a touch of rose?
;)
I tried some floral flavors. Even at lower percentages. They all just reminded me of vaping my Granny's perfume.

Good luck Steve. I hope yours comes out better than mine :D

I tried RY1 with FA Liquid Amber. Don't do that. Seriously.

Speaking of Desert Ship...is the VZ version pretty much the same as Hangsen? These things confuse me. What's a good percentage? I have the VZ. Still about 1 drop per ml?
Hangsen Desert Ship is awesome. The VZ SC Desert Ship doesn't come close.

Figures. Crap. It smells good to me, I'll probably use it anyway and still get the Hangsen. OK, I have until midnight for the 10% off with VZ. Anything else Hangsen I need Jimi?
lol.gif

If anyone is interested and doesn't get their emails, VZ has 10% off until 11:59 8/11/13. Code 10off

Don't forget to leave the cap off for awhile so the Alcohol can evaporate.

Yep doing that now. Not getting any color change after 3 hours UC steep. I would have expected it with the VZ cream added. Smells great though.

You'll be happy you did. It cuts steeping from weeks to hours. Make sure you get one with at least a 30 minute timer. I found it's not nessessary to get a unit with built in heat as long as you start with hot tap water. Heat does come in hand if you steep over a few days or are in the habit of letting it sit for long periods of time in between cycles where the water cools down. The ultrasinic wave action will keep the water warm.
