What flavor % do you use? Maybe try lowering that.

Yeah, what percentage did you mix at?

5-7% on average. The one that gets me the most is my favorite (HS Tab + TFA DRY4) mixed @ 7% + 5%. Might be too much flavor but it's spot on in a tank so if I have to back it down then i'll have to have 2 separate bottles.

Who came up with the recommended percentages for Hangsen anyway ? 5 to 7 % is way off. All I taste is extracted tobacco at those percentages. Which has hardly any flavor. That's why I see ppl adding other ingredients to get more taste. 3% is spot on. If you can't taste it. Change the equipment, or the flavor is just out of date.

I tried 5% on a couple and it was light. I get a nice full flavor at 7% or so and each one tastes quite different than the other. I also vape tanks more than 50% of the time so that could be it. I'll make a couple @ 3% and see. It's easy to bump flavor as opposed diluting.

Anyone know how to cut down on harshness when dripping HS tobaccos? I vape lower nic @ 12% so i don't think it's that. I don't do sub ohm or chase clouds either but my throat definitely gets a little fried at times. Is adding something like smooth a good idea? I've never used it before. I mix 50/50 pg/vg. I suppose I could go higher VG but i would prefer not too.

I would try a test batch of 75% vg 5% distilled water 20% pg/flavoring. Just to make sure it is not the pg giving you trouble all of a sudden.

I'm going to try that. Not just for HS tobaccos but other flavors. I'm also going to wrap another coil. I was dry burning last night and the coil has a hot spot and doesn't burn from the center out anymore. Looks like i must have bent it out of alignment at some point. Probably when tucking the wick.

I dropped the watts down from 10 to 9 and it was a smoother hit with less harshness but took away from the flavor and vapor too much. I think my problem might be two fold right now including both the mix itself and the coil.

I've pretty much used Danny's advice with HS tobaccos and have stuck with 7% max and it has worked great. TAB is great at 7%. It's a sweet smooth tobacco and I think I could go down to 5-6% because it does pack a punch in a igo type dripper. Can be rough on the throat but great in a tank.

Delivery devices are really important to consider with flavors. I usually run an 8 wrap 2.5ohm coil in my regulated mods @ 10 watts. Flavor is killer but if i drip for too long it does start to wear on my throat with tobaccos flavors. I usually vape 12mg nic and it's becoming too much in my igo so I'm thinking about making 8-10mg mixed for my drippers and 12mg for tanks.

I like magic mix @ 7% as a standalone quite a bit. It's got a nice leaf flavor with a hint of sweetness. I'm going to mix some with AP once I'm done with my current bottle. I have some samples of highway and arabic + AP that are about 10 days old. I'm looking forward to trying them this coming weekend.

There's a big difference between dripping and using a tank. I also notice that It's much more intense in my IGO-s. But I only use it for testing. In my t3's there perfect.

That's the problem with drippers. What I've done with my igo was use a 1" silica wick and gave the wire 10 really tight in fact touching each other wraps yes you herd me right 10 wraps. This helped a lot. But it's a pain in the ars to do. I run my vb at 3.7v. I read this in one of the forums they call this a micro wrap. the coil does not run as hot so you don't get the steam like vape and you get more vaper this way.

What guage do you use? I have 28 and 30. My last couple coils I've had great luck with 8-9 wraps of 28g around a qtip with the ends cut off. I thread 2.5mm ekowool through the coil and adjust until it burns evenly from the center out. It's 2.4-2.5 ohms every time and works well on a regulated device like SID and Vamo @ 10 watts. The main reason i've been sticking with this coil setup is because it wicks perfectly every time and i can make one in 10 minutes. I suppose I'm lazy at times and should experiment more.

I have a k100 mech that I use 30g and 1.2-1.4 ohms. It vapes hard too but for whatever reason I've gone back to my regulated mods the last month or so. Sub ohm doesn't do it for me so i don't go below 1ohm. At least not yet.

I tend to like the so called micro coil which is just a small id coil (~1/16th in.) with close or touching coils. I'm not sure about the 2.5mm ekowool for it though, unless you could unravel it some. Poke around in the 'micro coil' thread over in rebuildables if you haven't done so already. Differences are small but real and it's hard to beat a good micro for a good balance of vapor and flavor imo.

Hangsen TAB Blend; here is my take on this blend. 1st I will say this is a nice specialty tobacco blend. As with all the Hangsens extracted tobacco juice I have tried there is no perfume or chemical taste.
On the inhale I get a nice, mild sweetness of a fermented tobacco, almost cotton candy like flavor. It has a nice smooth tobacco with a mellow bite. Very subtle hints of tobacco spiciness on the exhale. I get slight after taste of a maple syrup type of flavor. They claim it has nutty undertones so this could be almond flavoring that I taste at the end. Nicely done. It reminded me of walking into a fine tobacco store and tasting all the blends and sweetness; from the smell of the tobacco’s.
My new all day vape! Review was done with dripping into a new broken in Cisco 306 atty, an i06, and a protank. Mixed at 5% flavor. 20%pg, 5%h2o, 75%vg. I would like to use an RDA, but my hands couldn’t make a coil an more;-)
I started another batch at 3% as recommended Jimi D. and others.
I use high vg%. Eliquid coming from Hangsen to try soon, so more reviews coming. 3 will be 100%vg from the diversity series and 2 will be fixed ratios from their premium HS Series.

Have any of you purchased any of the Hangsen flavors at EJUICECHINA Online Shopping for Hangsen E-liquid site?

They carry everything from tobacco to candy and beverages by Hangsen. I love those $2.95 (10ml), $6.95 (30ml), and $8.50 (50ml) prices. They seem to ship world wide. Any experience with this company?

No, but I found that site last night somehow. I was wondering if they sold flavorings? They sell a DIY kit, that kinda seems useless.

Anybody add TFA smooth to a straight up HS tobacco? I'm curious. I'm getting ready to mix a bunch of HS today. I'm wondering if smooth might help when using a rda. I love dripping hs but it does wear on my throat more than other juices. Only in a rda though. Tanks are no problem.

No, Not an RDA user, but sounds like a problem with the device, i.e. wick material or wattage rather than liquid. I have read about silica wicks causing throat problems??

Hmmm... hold on. I'm not excited about the site now that I've gone back and verified these are offerings for E-liquid and not flavorings! Ugh...was late when I came across the site.

Yea I saw that a while ago and got all excited until I found out it was an offering for bulk.
