Ok been stalking this thread for a while now, thought it was time i gave some input. Been DIY for a while, but got my first Hangsen flavors in couple weeks ago...My experiences so far: Desert ship>>>Mixed this up at 4% 50/50 Let it steep for a week.Fresh cotton in a micro coil in a IGO dripper. No flavor...hummm my 1st thought is what didi I do wrong.Dont panic yet just let it steep more.
Next up was RY3 same set up after week steep. Flavor is week but has a nice dry nutty Flavor.Hard to describe but nice none the less.
2-1/2 weeks steep time... RY3 is nice could use a little something just not figured out what yet
Desert ship: No flavor what so ever.Going to up to at least 6% and see what happens.

If your like me that can't taste the flavors at 4-5% then 6-7% will likely be good.

Yep ive been off ciggs for 8 months now but i still dont have what you would call a delicate pallet lol. Ive tried some of the high end juice people talk about has this and that undertones, and this and that on the exhale...me i didnt get all that.Guess im just too simple. That why I like my DIY :)

haha...I'm with you on this 100%...if I described the high end juice and the "this and that on inhale and exhale" I'm afraid I'd be auto-censored as it wouldn't be something for the faint of heart to read.

I just placed an order for T5, Tab Blended and Indian...hope I like one of these

I don't have T5 or Tab Blended, but I can tell you that Indian is rather mild. I'd usually recommend starting 'low' as in 3% for Hangsen, but for Indian I'd recommend starting at 5% and seeing what you think. I personally enjoy it higher than that, 5.5-8.5 depending on recipe, but then again I vape 60%VG blends.

I just checked my e-calculator recipes for Indian and TAB which started low but had to raise to current percentages to get a satisfactory flavor. I mentioned in earlier post that Indian was the mildest Hangsen flavor I've vaped. Majority of my flavors are 7-8% except Desert Ship which is currently at 4.5%.

TAB
50/50 - 24mg
8% Tab flavor
1.3% Acetyl Pyrazine
1% Vape Wizard

INDIAN
50/50 - 24mg
9% Indian flavor
1.3% Acetyl Pyrazine
1% Vape Wizard

At these and similar percentages on my other Hangsen flavors, I get a very satisfying strong complex flavor and throat hit.

Yes 9 months is about where I'm at. And after 45+ years of smoking it takes a lot of time for taste to return.

T5 is one of my favorites. If you like nutty blends this is for you. I don't know where I would have been if it wasn't for t5 at the beginning of my journey.

I see i'm in good company being a member of the 7% club:) That's about my average for all hangsen tobaccos.

Yeah I hear too many good things about T5 and Tab not to try them both. Gonna have to pick them both up on my next purchase.

As far as the T5 I'm near the end of my second 30ml bottle of concentrate.

Sounds like a keeper. Do you mix it with AP or EM? I'm finding that with tobaccos, adding up to maybe 4 ingredients does the trick. Sometimes just the tobacco and a compliment or two makes it seem 'complex', but it depends on the tobacco. I once tried a 14 flavor tobacco blend and humurously enough, the flavor with the lowest % ended up as the only one I could taste. I've since kepts to between one and five flavors for tobacco blends.

With HS tobaccos I only add 1.5% AP and 1% Vape Wizard. No other additives. Vape Wizard at $5 a bottle goes a long way and does seem to smooth out (with more vapor) any flavor.

I stopped using EM after noticing my stronger and nuttier tobacco flavors were resembling more of a grahm cracker flavor. Some use it to smooth out and sweeten flavors. I love any graham cracker goodness but not in place of nutty tobaccos. This effect even at very low doses.

A while back I also experimented with apple cider vinegar on tobaccos. No longer use it as even 1 drop per 10ml bottle badly muted any good flavors.

The HS flavors alone are terrific but a little complimenting AP and drop of VW does the trick for me.

T5 is a nutty tobacco to begin with so 1% AP is just right.

Where have you guys purchased your T5 concentrate? Just noticed my preferred vendor doesn't carry it despite ordering my last 10 Hangsen flavors from their site.

And perhaps just my imagination, but was there discussion of T5 being like the Highway concentrate flavor? I currently have Highway in my vape rotation and love it. If T5 is nutty in flavor, I know I'll like it very much.

T5 is one of the few hs tobaccos I dont have. I need to re-up some highway so I'll grab some and check it out.

I love tab. It's great alone, with some ap/em, and just about any other complimentary flavor. Magic mix and Indian are great too. I can't say enough about how versatile and good hs tobaccos are. They have made my diy mixes painless and easy. So good.

I mix 6-7% on all of them for tanks. Dripping is a little tricky. Highway at 5% + ap is one of my faves in a dripper but weak in a tank. The beauty of diy is drilling down flave and nic strength to your specific situation and liking. You can hit just right in all devices with ease. Store bought juice doesn't work that way. I only buy a couple premixes and could live without them easily.
