Yes, I like strong tobaccos as well and mix HG at 8%. HG Desert Ship is my only exception and I mix at 6%. Thoroughly enjoyed some DE tonight and was thinking to switch my #1 recommendation. Since the RY4 is out and you already have the red, go for it -- you won't be disappointed.

HG is my overall preference for tobaccos as well. FA's strike me as more "tobacco-like" than tobaccos. And seems I'm finding too many Inawera tobaccos with that "buttery" flavor that I avoid. Meanwhile my only HG suspect is their Pipe tobacco.

Anyway consider also giving the DE tobacco a try and post your thoughts.

I find my sweet spot with all hangsen tobaccos at 7%.

Hi Guys. I'm trying to read through all of this thread, but I've only made it to page 24. Lot's of reading to catch up on. I went on a Hangsen tobacco buying spree the week of Halloween when ecigexpress had a sale. I purchased 9 flavors( wanted more but some that sounded good were OOS) I made 10ml samples of all of them at 5%. Haven't even tried them all yet. I have WAY TOO MUCH juice made up. Anyway, was hoping to get some recipe ideas for any of the following:

Mild Blend
SE Tobacco
Win Churchill( Have tried this one and really like it on it's on at 5%. SMOOOOTH)
Hangsen Tobacco
Fortune Strike( have tried this one at 5%. Is strong to me)
Deluxe Tobacco
Golden VI
RY3
BD Tobacco

These were my first Hangsen buy, so I don't have any other Hangsen flavors to mix with them yet, but I have a huge inventory of Cap,FA,TFA, and some INW

One of the nice things about Hangsen tobaccos is they are pretty complete stand-alone vapes. That said, Hangsen tobaccos do mix pretty well with each other. Also might consider adding some AP (TFA), (TFA or FA) Vanillin, FA Vanilla Bourbon, FA Cocoa or Chocolate, caramel, apple, pear, plum, honey, hazelnut, walnut, marshmallow, etc.

My favorites in your lists are:

SE Tobacco
Churchill
Hangsen Tobacco
Fortune Strike
RY3
BD Tobacco

Following have too much fresh-cut hay taste for my palate:
Deluxe Tobacco
Golden VI

Enjoy!

All are good on there own. You can add 1% AP to add some nuttyness or mint, menthol or koolata for a coolness but I would try them on there own first. The common additional flavors would be vanilla, chocolate, caramel. You can also experiment with fruits. Add them as accent notes at 1 - 2% to start.

Hi, I know this is the DYI for Hangsen, but was recommended asking my question here on pre-mix. I'm looking for a cigarette-ish flavor is high PG that will give the smoke sensation I am dying for. I've tried a bunch US made e liquids and most of them get that chewing tobacco smothered in caramel or honey. Its almost a thick vape feeling which is why I like the higher PG bases along with throat hit. Dekang's I have tried just have a weird flavor not even close to tobacco to me. USA was oily tasting, USA Red was fish oily, Desert ship was musty, 555 was nutty but not much if any tobacco but was vapable. Hoping Hangsens will be better

Hangsens I am interested in trying are:

Desert ship - Heard it doesn't have that musty taste
Ry6 - Had the Hangsen RY4 which wasn't bad but had a grassy tone - RY4 was good though
Highway - Supposely 555 maybe different from Dekangs
Tobacco - Not sure what to expect with that

If anyone has any suggestions or feed back on the hangsens I've listed I'd like to hear some opinions. My old smokes were Marlboro Reds..Camel for a change up. I enjoy full flavored cigs mostly.

I'm not great at describing flavors but I'm vaping on a diy batch of Hangsen tobacco now, and I'm liking it. I don't know how strong they make their premade liquids but the Regular Hangsen tobacco flavor is good. Nothing tastes like smoking a cigarette, but this doesn't have that sweet taste of an ry4. No vanilla or caramel, and it has a decent throat hit. Doesn't taste like chewing tobacco or pipe tobacco either. I've tried a few Hangsen, and the Mild, BD, WinChurchill, and the regular Hangsen are modeled more around cigarette tobacco without all the extra stuff. I tried the fortune strike also. It's strong to me. I think they were after a lucky strike cig with that one and they have captured the strong harshness of it. Not liking it much

For cigarette taste try the USA blend such as the hangsen USA red. It has an ashy american cigarette taste. If you mix your own you can get inaweras DNB and add 6 drops per 10ml to your american mix and it will add more of an american taste.

Hey Stacy welcome to the hangsen group.

You have the hangsen "tobacco" - what percent and is it a weaker or strong flavor, just a good cigarette flavor or tobacco flavor. Some of the cigarette flavors typically have some ashiness I don't care for.

Lucky strike I might have to put on my list to try, I like a harsh th vape. Did you pick up any fruitiness in it?

For stand alones is 5% pretty good on all of them? I've got to work graveyard shift tonight but going to load up a couple reo bottles with a couple that I haven't tried yet

I do hangsen stand alone only. There is no complicated mixing with these no messing around.. Each flavor is complete and ready to go.. That's the beauty of hangsen each is compete.

5% is a good safe middle ground to start... I actually run most of mine lower 3-4% in a dripper at 25w.

Hi Jeremy. If you like the non filtered, harshness you should like the fortune strike. I may try again at lower than 5% and see if it's more to my liking. I didn't pick up any fruitiness but then again I only hit it a couple of times. At work right now, but will drip some when I get home and see if I can get you a better description. The regular hangsen doesn't have an ashy taste to me. Its not strong cigar or pipe flavor. Just a good imitation cig flavor. A lil grassy but clean and crisp. Im liking it a lot at 5%

Placed another order with Buyhangsen.com. For those who want the premixed e-juice in tobaccos, they have them down to $0.99. The concentrates down to $3.49. Just finished a concentrate bottle of Desert Ship which I mix kinda high with my 50/50 nic juice. Was a time I couldn't stand it and now ordered another. I do recall my first premixed batch of Desert Ship was from another manufacturer. Once I tried the Hangsen DIY concentrate, it was smooth sailing. Also ordered Indian Tobacco since I never added that one to my cart over the last year. I've sampled so many of the Hangsen flavors but not the Indian. Anyone try it? Mild? Strong?

Oh CRUD! I just remembered having tried Indian earlier this year and it was way too mild and weak for my taste. Shoot. Too late. Maybe I'll mix a little batch at 25-30 drps per mil for some sorta flavor. We'll see.

Re: desert ship
I haven't noticed an oil to my taste. It's pretty good for sure. I mostly taste/smell corn or wheat instead of nutty. I live around a lot of cornfields and it's dead on around harvest time when you get all that corn in one place. That's what it seems to me, maybe like a brewery note.

Well, I've accidentally made my first successful hangsen mix. I have well over a hundred flavors and have been pondering what might go nicely with any of the hangsen tobaccos. Many ideas came to mind, but out of all the options not once did I think about strawberry. Doesn't even look right typing it. Strawberry tobacco. Yuck. When I ordered the hangsen, I also picked up a few Inawera flavors. I had heard they made good fruity flavors. Strawberry was one of them. I hadnt had a chance to try the sample batch, and was rushed this afternoon so I filled up a bottle for my reo with the strawberry and filled up another bottle with the regular hangsen tobacco so I'd have a back up in case I didnt like one of them. I loaded up the strawberry and left for work. Tried my best to vape it but half way to work I couldn't take it anymore. It was way too strong. Perfumey fake strawberry taste. I knew I could change wicks once I got to work but I still had fifteen minutes of drive time before getting there and I wasnt vaping anymore of that crap. So I changed to the hangsen bottle.a little tricky to do while driving but I managed. First few vapes was the nasty strawberry, but by the time I got to work it was starting to mellow out and the tobacco was coming through. The strawberry flavor was so strong that it lingered in the wick for a couple of hours, but as it weakened it got better with every draw. There was a point finally, that when I took a draw, it was an instant "I've got to have more of this".Taste was amazing. Fresh ripe tangy strawberry with tobacco. Sounds ridiculous but I will be making a fresh batch of hangsen in the morning when I get home and will adjust one drop of Inawera strawberry at a time until I find that flavor again:D

Edit: I thought the Strawberry was an Inawera flavor. Was wrong. It's Hangsen Strawberry. Just made a 30ml bottle of 5% Hangsen tobacco with 2 drops of the strawberry. I don't usually measure in drops, but I feel that this will take such a small bit of strawberry to be what I want, that it would be best to start with drops from the bottle.
