i got a few inaweras with my last order,,and so far the strawberr is the only i can even tolerate

if ya sub ohm it ?? it tastes just like childrens strawberry cough medicine :(

Reduce your percentage. Start on the low low end. This Strawberry I have I started with 5%. It's pretty much unvapable. Once weakened to almost gone the flavor is delicious. That's why I'm doing one drop at a time this time. The fact that yours has a cough syrup taste is a tail tail sign that it's too much

I messaged Buyhangsen.com about my mistake and asked if they could replace that Indian with another of my choice. We'll see. The Desert Ship is much like a Camel with a nutty flavor and touch of motor oil. Not kidding :)

No, Kimchi...don't do that before trying their Indian Flavor, it is very good!

Oppss...editing this because I just read that you have tried it in the past and didn't like it. To me it works wonderfully at 10%, as the other Hangsen tobacco flavors.

Good morning Jeremy. I'm vaping the Fortune Strike on a Magma and after a couple more days steeping, it doesn't seem as harsh as it was originally. It's still an in your face tobacoo, but cigarette tobacco, not cigar or pipe. I'm still not getting a fruitiness, but a slight sweetness is coming through. Not cloying vanilla or caramel. Just a HINT of sweet tobacco. Great throat hit on this one. A little grassy, but not bad. Glad I gave it another shot. Wasn't planning on making anymore of this one. Will be a good vape when I'm having a beer and wanting something a little stronger than normal

Hmm, I don't get nutty at all with desert ship. If anything, I get a maple flavor along with tobacco.

Strawberry was one of them. I hadnt had a chance to try the sample batch, and was rushed this afternoon so I filled up a bottle for my reo with the strawberry and filled up another bottle with the regular hangsen tobacco so I'd have a back up in case I didnt like one of them. I loaded up the strawberry and left for work. Tried my best to vape it but half way to work I couldn't take it anymore. It was way too strong. Perfumey fake strawberry taste. I knew I could change wicks once I got to work but I still had fifteen minutes of drive time before getting there and I wasnt vaping anymore of that crap. So I changed to the hangsen bottle.a little tricky to do while driving but I managed. First few vapes was the nasty strawberry, but by the time I got to work it was starting to mellow out and the tobacco was coming through. The strawberry flavor was so strong that it lingered in the wick for a couple of hours, but as it weakened it got better with every draw. There was a point finally, that when I took a draw, it was an instant "I've got to have more of this".Taste was amazing. Fresh ripe tangy strawberry with tobacco. Sounds ridiculous but I will be making a fresh batch of hangsen in the morning when I get home and will adjust one drop of Inawera strawberry at a time until I find that flavor again:D

Edit: I thought the Strawberry was an Inawera flavor. Was wrong. It's Hangsen Strawberry. Just made a 30ml bottle of 5% Hangsen tobacco with 2 drops of the strawberry. I don't usually measure in drops, but I feel that this will take such a small bit of strawberry to be what I want, that it would be best to start with drops from the bottle.

I'm fighting with the inawera wild strawberry myself with a vanilla custard mix. I added way to much and it actually irriated my throat and the vapor caused a burning sensation on my lips not to mention the perfumey taste. I went with the recommended 10 drops per 10 ml and found it way to much. I'm at about 3 drops per 10 ml and it's just starting to get into that vapable range. Now just going to let it steep and hope it mellows then adjust from there. Was hoping for a creamy strawberry vape but we'll see.

Indian & Aus Choc ain't bad

Hey Blueser, I haven't tried my Australian Chocolate yet .... would you mind telling me the % you used.
From some of your posts, I think our tastes are pretty close to each others.
Sounds good with the Indian, but I usually try each flavor in a 2ml solo test first.
That way I can judge the flavor, the strength, and get some idea of what it will contribute to a recipe
Did you try it alone first, or just "wing it"
Care to pass on a percentage to start at as a solo ... or a good guess :pop:

Slots...two standalone mixes of Indian & AC...both at 4%...put 3ml Indian, 1ml AC in my KF...the AC by itself was a little weak, had a little off-putting note in the flavor fresh out of a 1hr hot bath but was not noticeable mixed with the Indian. I suspect the AC will improve with some ageing. I have 15mls AC that has been sitting for about a week now...the AC is a golden urine color whereas my other chocolates are very dark

Sounds like a delightful color !!
OK, thanks for the heads up.
I stay way ahead of myself in the mixing dept, and everything is a good 4-6 weeks old before I get around to it.
So I'll mix some up, sit back and wait for it to come up with it's best impression of a good chocolate.
Thanks for getting back to me

I received my first Hangsen goodies today. Thanks for all of the info here :)

I got Indian and RY1. Based on the later posts here, I mixed them at 3.5% in 50/50 PG/VG and I'll let them steep one week before the first taste.

From the bottle, RY1 has a very faint aroma but Indian seems pretty potent. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that these will be pleasant vapes :)

If I like these, I'll go ahead and order more. I'm eyeing these so far:

Arabic
Highway
Pipe
USA Red
RY2

Cheers.

I hope so. Somebody has highly recommended it :)

Do you think at 3.5 % after a one week room temperature steep will give me a decent idea of its potential?

I also got and mixed the INW Desert Voyager today. That one smells interesting too, kind of like a cousin of INW Am4a.

I found Indian mixed @ 4-5% was best for me.
