I associate the vape Team in it to the extent that they have not learned from this experience. They still have not changed their policy of allowing venders to be hosts. They are not legally libel in my mind. Just unprofessional. Their show is not to blame because adults should know better. But I see them as a biased entity and wouldn't run out and buy something because they liked it unless I was considering the purchase anyway and I already had reason to trust the vender. In short, the Vape Team is not a good source of consumer information when it comes down to purchasing a very expensive PV.

Jason was established in the vaping community through the Vape Team. In the future, that will not be good enough.

Personally, I think every reviewer is biased to a certain extent. We don't know what happens behind closed doors (or in this case, off camera). I would bet my ProVari that all of the big names in the vape gear reviewing community get offered money to promote certain products. It would not surprise me if a lot of them accept the offers.

No one should make a purchase based on a reviewer's testimony. We should all do our own research before spending our money on something (this goes for everything, not just vape gear). Honestly, the only reviewer who I think is genuine is PBusardo. He never promotes a product that has issues and if he gets something that works but for other people it doesn't he will make that clear on his website. I still won't buy something just based on his opinions, though.

But, if a reviewer says a device is great and then when someone goes to buy said device they get scammed it is not the reviewer's fault. I understand they were associated with the person but they were not associate with his business. He had a part in the VapeTeam and that was it. I think that people assume the VapeTeam members are all friends but I guarentee they are not.

Now that's just childish. What would that accomplish? Nothing...

I hope you all receive your products but this could have been settled very easily from the beginning using 1 of 2 options. Option 1: File a dispute through paypal (I have done it before regarding something I did not receive that wasn't related to vaping and I got my credit back after PP performed an investigation). OR Option 2: Take it to court.

He shipped order #1-#400 so obviously this wasn't a scam (or else he would have never shipped any).

Also, no one took any REAL action as far as I saw. I didn't read every page (I read about 30 or so pages) but I think I only saw one person who filed a claim with Paypal. The rest just complained and continued spamming his email and blaming parties that have nothing to do with this (VapeTeam). If you do something 10 times and it still doesn't work why continue to do it? Try different approaches.

You assume it would accomplish nothing, but you don't know that. It might light a fire under his ... to start owning up and putting Jboxes out. Then again, it might not. As I said, I was "considering" it. Nothing is set in stone.

Option 1: Many people on this thread cannot do that because the expiration date for filing a claim has long since passed. Some people have been waiting since August of last year, with about 3-4 "updates" since then. You might know that if you took the time the read the entire thread.

Option 2: Is in fact an option. But would you personally take it all the way to court and spend thousands and thousands of dollars over a $300 mod? I would hope not. Not mention 95% of us are in a different state then Jason. So we should be flying back and forth from our individual home states to Arizona for all the legal proceedings? Again you might know that if you read the entire thread.

My last and final point. He hasn't shipped orders #1 - #400. His order numbering system doesn't work that way. It's a non sequential numbering system. Yet again, you might know that if you read the entire thread.

So in summation. Read and entire thread before you start throwing your :2c: around.

I agree. My point is, first JboxShop dident refund my money, PayPal had to take em. And if the order status was changed manuelly, and he has time to do that, but haven't had the time to at the least respond to his customers email's.

Honestly, I bet 50%+ of the emails sent are people using foul language and personal attacks. He is probably receiving hundreds of emails from people spamming him thinking that will get him to do something when in the real world all that does is make it near impossible for him to reply to the people that are being professional and just want to know what's happening. If I was receiving a bunch of spam emails of people talking trash I would stop logging into that email account.

The Vendor put it in your hands, and if all your going to do is complain about it then that's what you will get. Complaining to each other. Not meant to be harsh but its the reality of the situation. Do something, or you have you to blame at this point. Sorry if that pisses anyone off and I know emotions are involved. Good luck folks.

Exactly.

This sucks! I was on the fence several times on purchasing a JBOX but could never quite pull the trigger. Glad I didn't in retrospect.

To date, I've never had anything but respect for the Vapeteam guys, and I am choosing to reserve judgment until all facts are known. Internet lynchings of possibly innocent parties won't help matters or get your money back.

For those who paid and didn't get product, resolve it through your CC, PayPal, or if past the ability to dispute charges, pursue it in small claims court.

Maybe the Vapeteam has been silent because they are trying to get answers and are getting static from Jason as well and have nothing to report. Fact is, we don't know. Yet. Should facts come to light that they were complicit, then flame away, but as of yet, I see no evidence of that.

As far as Dimitris' previous response. Well, he can be a hot head sometimes. He has been to me and about me in the past as well. Maybe it's because I have thick skin, or maybe because I know he's Greek, but I still consider him a friend, and I think I know him well enough to say that he wouldn't intentionally allow anyone to screw us as a community over, friend or not.

Again, wait for all the facts, and then place the blame where it belongs. If it happens to fall on the rest of the Vapeteam, then so be it, but again, right now we don't know that.

^These two guys (and the guy with the pig on his avatar) are the only people I've seen thinking rationally so far in this thread.

We have his gmail address? Do tell. I'm debating about whether or not to still send his family a message after/if I get a refund. For all of you guys sake. Since you have no real recourse. :(

Now that's just childish. What would that accomplish? Nothing...

On the other hand, I find it ridiculous that people associate VapeTeam with this whole fiasco. I don't really watch their show but not one of you actually knows what happened. You are all jumping to conclusions when you don't have the facts. That is not how you should be acting. I understand you all are upset but fabricating stories about what happened does nothing. He shipped order #1-#400 so obviously this wasn't a scam (or else he would have never shipped any).

Who are you? Have you read the thread? Do you have skin in this game?

Its real easy to tell people what they shouldn't do, but you are obviously ignorant.

Read the rest of the thread, after 45 days nothing to be done through paypal, after 60 days you can't do anything with your bank or credit card company.

Now I'm not overly good at math, but I ordered mine the 1st week of September, some here, in August, now, somebody is going to have to help me with this, but I'm pretty certain that's more than 45 or 60 days.

But thank you for bringing something up that we all already knew and chiding us for our failure to do so.

Got anymore bright ideas?

Tanks, I think it may be a best if not only you, but others that haven't been involved in this, not post in this thread. There is a ton of well-deserved frustration and anger regarding this issue. Thank God I didn't get involved with J-Box, as I would have if I had the money to before the word got out about Jason. I just think everyone should know the whole story before trying to help with giving opinions or sharing thoughts. I have been monitoring this whole thing since the beginning and I feel horrible for all those personally vested in this. I know it's wrong, but if I ever ran into Jason on the street, I would walk the other way. If I didn't, I would probably spit in his face or do a kick in the nuts and run thing JK! In all reality, I hope everyone gets a some resolution. Unfortunately this happens all too much in life. The vaping community has so many great people and vendors, which makes it hurt that much more when they fail you. I wouldn't like to be Jason when Karma comes around.

Boom! Tanks got owned. :D I'm just kidding, really I am. My post earlier came off harsh, didn't fully mean it that way. Just wanna those days.

All I really wanted to get across was read an entire thread before you start talking about what people should be doing. It's like rolling up to a car crash and telling people they should've used their blinker.

Just to rip off some band aids.

"Contrary to popular belief, I have 27 outstanding orders on the books and several of these are people that are waiting on an upgrade that needs testing before final release. The site will not take any new orders but I will keep it up for current customers to look at pictures that I will be posting and for some that need to see the woods for reference."

So let's 7 people are waiting for upgrades, that's 20 boxes. Anyone seen ANY pictures on the website yet? Lord knows I haven't.
