Why in the world would you want Liio batteries in an air tight box? Maybe one of his Jboxes blew up and he's dead.
In theory I think it's supposed to vent out the charging port, potentiometer port or from around the button. I'm just spouting that off because I think I remember hearing it somewhere. I can't verify any of that. 
Its not air tight, I don't know where you people are getting that. There's a difference between "sealed" and air tight.

Not gonna lie though.....I kinda freaked out about sending $214 to preorder after this whole jbox debacle exploded. I am confident that nothing will go wrong but I definitely paused and had a small panic attack.

Had a really high level of interaction with people in that thread as well which ceratainly looks promising
I think most vendors who take pre-orders are good up standing vendors. Just a damn shame we all got involved with one that isn't. Maybe if I get my Jbox before you guys get your Billet Boxes, I can put my Jbox on the classifieds to trade for a Billet Box.
The vast majority of the people I've pre-ordered from are good people including BB, GG and RSM to name a few. It's too bad for a few bad apples in the bunch. The Jury is still out on Jason and his jbox we'll soon find out the verdict by the end of the month or early Feb.

Just a personal thing. I have an issue with paying the full amount on any pre-order.
I completely agree with this! and if I did preorder anything (not paying full amount) I would make sure to read the terms of sale and that the product was promised before the time limit for refund from CC or paypal! I've learned from jbox and chopperguy!
ps but I'd probably not preorder because I like to wait til the brave people test something out first lol
I totally agree with this too, but I didn't think at the time this Jbox thing was going to turn out to be a big mess because I trusted Jason. His visibility within the community led me to believe that he was a real stand-up guy that I felt pretty good in plunking my money down for this thing.
Little did I realize that it would turn out this way. I still have a sliver of hope that he'll pull through for us who are waiting.

I usually wouldn't jump in on the 1st run of anything myself, but, in the case of the JBox, I already have an Opus, so I've tested it out for the most part anyways. Its just a different shell.
