Yea!!! So, you GOT the job!! WOO HOO!!!
...and, you're standing most of the time? Just you and the owner??
...and you WALK to work?
Lols! No, I don't walk to work, it's over eight miles away in town ;)
Yep, standing all day on concrete; guess it's all I know.
Right now it's just the two of us, don't know if there will ever be more  He has had several in the past.

I'll be doing a little of everything including bookkeeping and computer inputs o_O It also does not appear to be part time work, Monday through Friday  Appears the hours will fluctuate somewhat and that would be normal to me since we work till it's done.
I mainly ground beef and bagged it today, did a few other things and helped with clean up.

    Oh those pretty steaks!

Oh boy, I know part time would be better, but I guess it is what it is. I know you're thankful either way. :)

Sounds like a good mix, hopefully you won't get bored since you can cycle through different tasks. :)

Glad you're not walking. I didn't think anything was close enough to walk to.

I suppose I could have walked to Griffiths but walking home afterwards wasn't in the cards!!

It will be a lot of different things so that's a plus for me :) There are a lot of differences for me to learn, hope he's a patient fella ;) Not too sure if I can break down and assemble some of the machines though, I'll sure try. He wants me to be the one that assembles everything in the mornings before he gets there  That includes the band saw and grinders.

And no vacuum machine! :w00t:

That is awesome news, Lori  so happy for your nephew!!

Congrats on the new job, Dale  you are going to be one busy lady. You got this for sure!!

Angel, eeeesh. But thank goodness Friday should be an easy day for you. Hope your storms arent too severe.

That storm that came through here on Monday, dropped a couple F-1 tornados in Northern PA. Our news station does their weather too because they are so close.

Yay for full belly and being comfy right now :)

I have reoccurring nightmares of tornadoes. Must have lived out your guys' way in a previous life. There are about 3-5 different dreams about them, different houses. While the tornadoes never hit, they come too close for comfort.

Bwahaha, maybe. ;) loved that movie as a kid.

These were roasted with olive oil, honey and balsamic vinegar. :nah:
I would think that would've been good. :(
Were they too large? Sometimes they're bitter if they get too big.

I remember it being so cold that the moisture in the air would freeze up into little flakes, no clouds and it was snowing

Funny now that you don't live there.

So, I got the lo-down from my SIL, I guess all the tests they did on his heart came back okay.
He'd had a horrible cold about three months ago, prob the same thing half the world had, and since his mom works at a Dr.'s office, I guess someone called in a Rx for a Zpak for him. I'm sure the Dr. wrote the script, but he wasn't actually "seen" by a doctor. Well, they think that he most likely had pneumonia that had settled in that lung, and you can end up with a hole in your lung if that happens.
I don't know if he ended up with meds to take for this, but they said that his lung will heal on it's own, and that the air that has seeped into his chest will be absorbed, and get back to normal.
Basically, they ran a WHOLE bunch of (most likely) expensive tests, and said...you'll live. You can go home now.
I guess there's no way around it BUT to run all the tests, just weird that there's really nothing to be done now.
Good that they've ruled out all the other bad stuff it could've been though. :)
