I would say about the size of a small plum. Maybe smaller. I did think it tasted bitter.I would think that would've been good.
Were they too large? Sometimes they're bitter if they get too big.
Bwahaha. That sounds about right.I remember it being so cold that the moisture in the air would freeze up into little flakes, no clouds and it was snowing![]()

My guess is they were too big. The circumference of a quarter is about as big as I like. Maybe a little bigger.I would say about the size of a small plum. Maybe smaller. I did think it tasted bitter.
Thanks!! Yes, wonderful news!!OMG, another long day...didn't leave until 6:30...boss even wanted to go for margaritas after, but I was just too tired...I know, I know, I never turn down a drink, especially a free one, but I am just that tired!
Yay Dale! I'm so excited for you!...And having variety in the job is a good thing...I put on many different hats at my job now and I can definitely say I'm never bored!
So happy to hear your nephew is okay Lori. That's the best news!
You're not alone Sara...I hate, hate, HATE brussel sprouts! YUCK!!!![]()
Seems like that's how it goes, lots of tests and then go home. Lol but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Funny now that you don't live there.
So, I got the lo-down from my SIL, I guess all the tests they did on his heart came back okay.
He'd had a horrible cold about three months ago, prob the same thing half the world had, and since his mom works at a Dr.'s office, I guess someone called in a Rx for a Zpak for him. I'm sure the Dr. wrote the script, but he wasn't actually "seen" by a doctor. Well, they think that he most likely had pneumonia that had settled in that lung, and you can end up with a hole in your lung if that happens.
I don't know if he ended up with meds to take for this, but they said that his lung will heal on it's own, and that the air that has seeped into his chest will be absorbed, and get back to normal.
Basically, they ran a WHOLE bunch of (most likely) expensive tests, and said...you'll live. You can go home now.
I guess there's no way around it BUT to run all the tests, just weird that there's really nothing to be done now.
Good that they've ruled out all the other bad stuff it could've been though.![]()
I agree.Seems like that's how it goes, lots of tests and then go home. Lol but it's better to be safe than sorry.

My ENT was mad that I went to urgent care a few months back and got a zpak. He said urgent cares are zpak mills.I agree.
Hopefully he's learned to actually SEE a doctor and not just take a Zpak. That's a real peeve of mine that some doctors just hand those out like candy and don't test anything.
Yes, he sliced them in half. I said it tasted like how road tar smells. It also helps to slice them in half then the good stuff you put on them (olive oil/honey/balsamic, etc.) gets on the inside as well.
I did just recently read something about a week ago that you shouldn't cook honey. That it changes the chemical composition of it into something that isn't healthy for your brain.
Let me see if I can find it right quick.
It obviously won't kill ya...people have been doing it for years, but I thought it was interesting.
That's the best way to drinkIKR! Me turning down a drink, you know I must be either dead or sick...but being exhausted counts too I guess!
Besides I do have alcohol here at the house and this way I can have my drink in my pajamas...which I'm doing right now!
Dale, you're going to do just fine...I'm sure you'll catch on quick to the things you're not used to and before you know it, it'll be nothing to you...I'm with Lori, I have faith in you!![]()
Sweet dreams JoeyTired I need to hit my bed have a great night everyone![]()

I agree with your ENT.My ENT was mad that I went to urgent care a few months back and got a zpak. He said urgent cares are zpak mills.I was like
. I'm allergic to penicillin so I never get good antibiotics. Lol
Sounds like he cooked it too long, or too hot.Yes, he sliced them in half. I said it tasted like how road tar smells.
Ohhhhhnooooo, you can't cook honey??? That's how I make my stir fry lunch. Soy sauce (lower sodium of course) and honey.Chicken with veggies over *gasp* a half cup of white rice.
Sweet dreams Joey.Tired I need to hit my bed have a great night everyone![]()
Phewww! LolFrom their FB post Greek Honey from Ikaria - post March 2nd - after re-reading, I don't know if that has been medically proven or not.
