Welp, Monday is upon us.
What I ate from the BBQ place in the little town over from us didn't bother me, I'll see if the menu lists what they use.
If that's what it is, at least when I get BBQ I'll have a clue instead of trial and error.

I bet that is what it is. I am not a mesquite fan, that I know, and I know the guy I work with uses hickory.No heartburn here,different wood taste and digest differently I almost always use fruit woods now it has a lighter milder almost sweet flavor.Can't stand hickory anymore and mesquite isn't far behind
Another thing I found out from one of my books is not to soak the wood in water because it makes soot when you do

Another thing to think about is where the wood comes from,fruit wood from commercial orchards has been sprayed with all sorts of chemicals for years who knows what it might do when you smoke your dinner with it ?? I like mine from wild trees or real old ones off of places that were never sprayed

I was thinking about getting another ego aio and I keep seeing the ad above, below, to the side (depending on what device I'm using lol) Since it's what I'm using exclusively at the moment, I feel like this poor thing is taking a beating. All of a sudden I'm nervous about ordering online .

Yeah just think how many people are trying to metabolize another fine Monsanto product of some kind today,a person really needs to think outside the box about their food in today's world.One of my personal favorites is DDT on our produce,we import gobs of it nowadays and guess what google says it's still used in lots of the places it comes from
