    That's nice but a glove would still be a good thing to have they make it almost impossible to cut yourself even if your holding and cutting stuff,also be real careful where you store it :danger:

    I'll get off my soapbox now :laugh:

    What's your point? :p
    :p Pizza's good!

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
    Well you can't have that much if all you wear are shorts and flip flops :sneaky:

    :w00t::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Veggie lasagna (spinach, mushrooms and zucchini), salad and homemade garlic bread. I got to try out my new mandolin for the zucchini noodles, it was awe-some. :)

    Thanks for dessert, Dale. Loving 1 and 3. Mm mm.
    :laugh: Hadn't thought about it that way, bet he doesn't have much.
    Oh yum!! Yea on the new gadget. I agree with OBG, glad you're getting a glove.
    I should do that too.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Well look how small they are :p
    I looked back, I was thinking that choc cake. ;)
    I know you will ;)

    Sigh, ready for a new week :rolleyes:
    No, I'm not ready. :oops:

    I wanted a slicer, I was going to make bread and butter pickles, and salsa, and all sorts of stuff, so several years ago I bought a Cuisinart food processor. I was scared of a mandolin.
    Not sure what I was thinking because the food processor has BLADES too.
    I'm VERY respectful of them too, I should get a glove.
    It's one of those gadgets that I don't use too often, but MAN, when you do, it's sure nice to have.

    Just to clarify, I got over wanting to make bread and butter pickles. Can't remember what brand I'd been buying, but someone recommended to try Mt. Olive.
    Heck, those are as good as what my mom made, and I don't have to go to all the fuss.
    We used to make those out in the garage. She didn't want to heat up the house cooking all those cucumbers, so she found an old electric stove someone was selling out of a club house, it was soooo gross until they cleaned it up, anyway, she put it in the garage and did all her canning out there.
    We sweated our rear ends off canning all that stuff.
    I think I'd rather do my job than what I've been doing around here ... at least it pays :laugh:
    I often feel that way. :laugh: (secretly)

    DH is very messy and doesn't clean up / pick up after himself :rolleyes:
    I'm the messy one here. :laugh:
    Course, his mess he keeps in his cave, or the garage.

    So I'm gonna head out. Sweet dreams Dale, Joey, OBG and Lori when you get back :wub:
    Sweet dreams Sara. :wub:
    We must be married to the same man :sneaky:

    I told him today, I was tired of being the only one to scrub the tiled shower and glass doors. He said well I don't see you mowing :eek::-x:evil:
    I've never mowed. Ever. Or ran a string trimmer. Same deal only in reverse. :D
    I do have my own Stihl electric blower though. I didn't want to have to mix gas and fiddle with that.

    You know the great thing about PETA ?? they see a cow in a whole different light than me :laugh:

    Yes they sure are, and if you put them in the microwave for just a few seconds to heat them up a little, they taste like ready to be canned!! Those were my favorite!! Warm bread and butter pickles!!
    They don't really have the onion slivers. Mom used to always put a few very thinly sliced onions in hers.
    But they're close enough!
