I've never mowed. Ever. Or ran a string trimmer. Same deal only in reverse.
I do have my own Stihl electric blower though. I didn't want to have to mix gas and fiddle with that.

No one could do it good enough to please my dad, plus he didn't want anyone getting hurt (or touching his mowers
) By the time I married, I just said nope. I clean the house, you can mow. DH never really cared. He'd LOVE if I'd string trim though.
