Lunchtime flyby...feeling a bit better, but still kind of blah...hoping eating something will help...didn't help that something has died in the walls at the office and that smell is permeating everything.

I had a salad and a couple of boiled eggs, was the only thing that sounded goodWell the afternoon was nice and quiet...and once we closed off the door to the bathroom, the smell wasn't near as bad, so must in the wall there somewhere...lucky we have another bathroom that can be used.
I'm hungry too Dale...what're we having?

Arghhhh. I'm starving. Just got to the school to watch the end of lacrosse practice. Promised kiddo as long as there was at least 10 min left when I got out of work I would come to watch. He was so upset that I had to work late

Hated liking that post.Well, I had a most interesting day. Plan B was definitely how it ended up.
Went to my dental cleaning this a.m., as we were finishing up she mentioned that a small cavity we'd been watching was at the point I should prob make an appt. and get it taken care of, which also was going to entail removal of the existing (extremely old, possibly one of my first ever) fillings.
So, no biggie. She said if I just did it in the next couple months that would be fine.
I'm at the counter making a few more appts., getting ready to pay, the dentist is standing there looking over the newspaper, and I flippantly said, how we should just do it now since he's just reading the paper.
He laughed and said that *actually* we COULD do it now because his next appt. had something come up and had cancelled at the last minute.
Doh!!!
Spent the next hour in the chair, dental bite block, just about anything they could fit in my mouth...him yanking the side of my mouth with that mirror thing....ended up with half my head frozen, all up and around my ear.
He said that if it catches a nerve just right it will go up around the ear....who knew?? I should clarify, he wasn't rough, I just have a small mouth (stop...I *really* DO!!)
Once he got working, I was actually so relaxed I could have dozed...the chairs are super comfy.
He said it was a REALLY deep filling, so it took a little longer than normal.
But...afterward, I felt completely run over. Completely skipped my list of errands since nothing was totally urgent, came straight home and slept for a couple hours.
Finally about 4:30 the stuff had completely worn off and I started feeling human again.
Then I tried to play catch up on the few things I'd wanted to get done here....ate, cleaned up the kitchen...and here I am finally.
But, now I'm off to go soak.
So, this is kind of just really a flyby.

Dale, you prob know this, but poboys can be anything...shrimp, oysters (yum), chicken, etc.

I think they call it Yum, Yum sauce.
Which I've googled for a recipe, but what I've found, I don't think would taste anything like what they make...
Why do they make their sauces such a TOP SECRET deal.
My nephew has even considered bribing a past employee.
