So my Mondays have gotten much less stressful...that problem child client that I've mentioned before, the one who was always causing me to spend hours on their crap they submitted each time and who would lie about every little thing until you called them on it, well they are finally gone!!!! Talk about making my day! Heck my whole year! :w00t:...I have never been mean to any of my clients, but this one really brought out the meanness in me and had me hoping every day for their failure.

Well their demise with us started on their last payroll...they have owed us over 6000 for a payroll from April that they had bounced a check on and we had informed them that their check was no good and that they would have to pay with certified funds from then on...well they never paid back the money that had bounced...our corporate office finally said they had to pay or no more payroll would be done...they ended up only paying part of it and we had to eat about 2000 of it, but it was worth it to get rid of them...the problem was we didn't know for sure until today (which was their next payroll date) if they were gone for good or not because they had been given until then to get the remaining money...apparently they decided to just not pay us and instead pay their employees themselves...which is what got them in so much trouble before they had started using us, because they were just paying the employees their net checks, and never sent in any of the taxes they were supposed to be withholding...they think they're saving money that way, but when the feds and the state come calling for those taxes, they are going to have a very rude awakening. They already have the state barking at their door because they haven't paid their sales taxes for almost a year now!

Is it wrong that I'm rejoicing and doing a happy dance at their imminent demise? ;):p:banana:
    Yes but it's understandable
Glad your Monday's are going to be much improved Angel :thumb:

I keep a cooler in the trunk of my car for cold goods in the Summer time.

    Relieved is more like it.

See we have 8 or 9 forms we have to fill out everyday for the USDA people, naturally Jack wanted me to do this paper work ... now that wasn't the problem. The problem came about because it was entirely false information, I was supposed to write down that we were doing things that we were not and sign my name saying we were in compliance with the USDA rules. In other words, lie. I wasn't comfortable doing that and it was making me sick so I told him I just couldn't do it. Of course he can't insist that I lie for him and he said he was okay with it after explaining (again) why he did it that way. I understand why he does it, just doesn't make it right for me see? :?:
About thirty minutes later he says he guessed he could teach me to do it right and in about 3 months I would see things his way o_O I told him I'd be happy to do it properly if that's what he wants to do but ... it will add 10 hours a week to my hours (think pay ;) ) He wants me to hurry and get done so he doesn't have to pay so much ... my take home is a little over 200 at the moment  My hours have dropped since I started from 38 hours to 28 so I have gotten faster.
Anyway, that's where we are at the moment ... kind of a Mexican stand off going on.

He does like my work and is satisfied with it (I asked) but doesn't want to pay for it  Well duh! :p
Well you stick to your guns girl!! Trust me, do NOT sign your name to anything that is going to the government that you know is false....if he wants to do that, that's his deal, but I don't blame you one bit. (I've been in a similar situation in the past, and ended up leaving the job because I wouldn't lie and sign my name to things for them...of course, once it all came out, they asked me to come back in a contract role to fix everything for them...and I ended up making over twice what I had been when I had worked there to do that. ;))...glad to hear he likes your work (and why shouldn't he!)...hang in there girl...you're in the right!

    It's hot, let's have cool desserts ;)

Long day. Didn't get out until almost 5:30.

The owner of our store just got back from a vacation to Russia. Today was his first day back.
They toured St. Petersburg, and another city...I've already forgotten the name of , and they also went on a river cruise while there.
He said they had a good time, and that it was REALLY interesting. He said the Russian people LOVE Putin.

...course, I think that's required under his leadership. Unhealthy to speak out.

They went to Jerusalem last fall. THAT would have REALLY made me nervous.
When they went to Bethlehem, they had to surrender their PASSPORTS at the border.
His wife said that made her really nervous, but that was just how it's done. Then you get it back when you re-enter.
