They went to Jerusalem last fall. THAT would have REALLY made me nervous.
When they went to Bethlehem, they had to surrender their PASSPORTS at the border.
His wife said that made her really nervous, but that was just how it's done. Then you get it back when you re-enter.
That would make me nervous too but I just might would do it for that place :)

That's basically what she said, she said they'd come that far, she wasn't missing it.
They were in a hotel in Tel Aviv, it was a big chain, maybe Hilton, can't remember, but she said it was a beautiful day and she started to go outside to go for a walk, she was instructed to please go out walking in the hotel gardens, that it was not advised in the city. :(

So, did you get a free lunch? :D
Oh, I imagine. He usually takes us to lunch once or twice a year.

Wow, that is a shame to go all that way and only be able to walk through the hotel gardens. I completely understand why but that just stinks.

Keep a spare roll in your car and back ups for your back ups.

Glad they do it. Can't take it with ya. ;)

Glad you had such a nice day!!

They loved it, and she said those two things I mentioned were the only things that even gave her any sort of pause.

    That's crazy!!

Just had a big Robin bounce off the patio door.
It had a GINORMOUS, fat, feisty earthworm in it's beak. The bird was stunned for a brief time, then started pecking away at the worm it had dropped. I think it's okay. It' hopped off, oh...it's coming back over here.

Lolz, well...at least there's no back talk from your hunks of meat. ;)

You'd really be surprised on the glass noodles, they look weird because they are grayish in color and dye the water a little bit. But the texture is just like a noodle to me. Cooked them a little less today. With the sauce on it, tastes just like spaghetti.

    Awww! Poor birdie!

It seems okay, it just flew and landed on the fence. I'll bet it's head or chest hurts though. :(

...AND, now I need to clean my patio door. The worm and bird left a big ole greasy mess on the door.
    Yuck!

Well now that is true, they don't even moo anymore

I'm sure they are fine, just sounds weird :D

Yeah, but they went SEVERAL places. I don't think it really dampened the trip, she just didn't realize it was that dangerous, until she reached for the door handle, and was stopped by hotel security.

Poor birdie, you musta used windex on the glass door. ;)

Can't remember when I came down to the basement, but every Labor Day we go to the NYS Fair. We stay for the weekend and there was a large dusty imprint of a bird with its wings spread on the window. I'll have to see if I can find the pic. It was the neatest image, but we don't know the outcome of the bird. Hopefully it was ok.

It sat on the fence preening and moving it's head all different directions, and digging under it's wing.
I think it's okay, hope so anyway.
    It's gone now. :)

Yes, but it's been a couple weeks...there's week old bird poo on it...meant to get that over the weekend, now I'm glad I didn't, cuz I can do it once and get both.

I've seen those too, once I found the dead bird, the other time I never saw it either. :)
